Scene 1
[Camera slowly fades in from opening credits it cuts to different parts of the airport to show that most of the Mallrats are still asleep, the camera finally stops on May who has just left her bedroom, she rushes down the corridor and peers into the canteen to find it empty.]
(Camera follows May as she searches the usual places of the airport where she thinks Salene would be. May finds herself back in the canteen and lets her body drop into an empty chair)
Lottie OS: MAY!
(May turns around to find Lottie standing in the doorway with a glass in her hands)
Lottie: I’ve just been in your room, I’m sorry May but I need my son back now…where’s Salene?
May: Gone!
Lottie: (Confused) What do you mean gone? May?
May: (stands up) She’s not here? I woke up and both Oscar and her have gone missing!
Lottie: (shakes her head) NO…you’re lying
May: (holding back tears) I wish I was…
(Camera zooms in on Lottie as the glass slips between her fingers and crashes onto the floor in slow motion, the camera stays on the shattered glass)
May OS: Lottie wait!
[We see Lottie’s feet turn and flee from the canteen. May steps over the glass and follows her. Camera stays on the glass before fading out to black]
Scene 2
[The camera fades in from black to show Amber sat up in bed and Bray lying next to her. Amber has a mirror sat in front of her as she starts to take out her Zulu knots.]
Bray: (Cont.) Do you really think Salene would do something stupid?
Amber: Come on Bray, you’ve known her just as long as me, she might of lost it a few times in the past but you should of seen her yesterday, it was like a different person, to be honest a part of me was scared of her?
Bray: (Shakes his head) Salene? No way!
Amber: (Turns to him) Bray I’m scared for Oscar…
Bray: Salene would never hurt him, she has done so much to have a child if anything she would love him to much!
Amber: (Nods) That’s what I’m afraid of, she honestly thinks she is Oscar’s mum and I think she will do anything to stop Lottie having him back…
(The door is suddenly pushed open and May sticks her head through the gap)
Bray: May what is it?
May: It’s Salene she’s gone missing and she has Oscar with her!
Amber: Oh god!
Bray: Wake everyone up and tell them what’s going on, we need to find her now!
[Camera zooms in on Amber’s worried face before cutting to the following scene]
Scene 3
[Camera cuts to a wide open space, camera slowly pans out to show Salene standing tall, her hair is pulled up by the wind but she doesn’t try and control it, in her arms is a sleeping Oscar.]
Salene: They will never take you away from me, they can try my boy but we will be together for ever…my son!
[Camera zooms in on Salene before fading back out]
Scene 4
[The camera fades in from black to show Slade standing at the graveside of Ruby. As he drops to one knee, we see that Trudy is standing several feet behind him, her coat wrapped tightly around her. The camera then moves back to Slade, panning down to the dirt as he picks out the weeds that cover the grave and places a small posy of daises on the grave.]
Slade: I'm sorry Ruby... sorry that it came to this. You were a good person and I know you weren't happy to be dragged into the whole mess by me. And I'm sorry that we couldn't be... more than friends. You were a special lady, and you'll be missed.
(Slade sighs deeply as he stands up and smiles down weakly at Ruby's grave)
Slade: Goodbye Ruby...
[Slade sighs and runs a hand through his hair before he turns to Trudy, the camera zooms in on the flowers that he placed on Ruby's grave and the camera fades to black.]
Scene 5
[Camera fades in from black to show several of the Mallrats running around in a hurry, as Caleb presses himself against the wall of the corridor. The camera moves away from the tribe, to the single figure, following as he walks towards Amber's room.]
Amber: I'll be right back... I promise!
(Amber slips out of her bedroom, leaving Brady and Bray jnr alone)
Brady: It's cold...
Bray jnr: It's freezing!! (chatters his teeth)
(The two children laugh to themselves)
Caleb: Soon.
[Caleb watches Brady and Bray jnr from the corridor, smiles to himself and then slips into the shadows as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 6
[Camera focuses on Trudy as she walks along the street. Looking over her shoulder she picks up the pace and walks faster.]
Trudy (whispers): Get with it Trudy... you're not being followed. You're just being paranoid. Stop it!
[Trudy walks along the streets of the city as the camera follows her. She continues to walk fast until she gets to the remains of the school, her old home and she stops to look at it. Sighing deeply as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 7
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show the city streets. The camera pans up and down several streets, rubbish blows across the street and a stray dog barks. The camera then pans around a corner as several people run, screaming as they play tag along the road.]
(One girl laughs as she's tagged and takes off at top speed, her hair blows into her face as she runs smack into a guy)
Girl 1: Oh... I'm sorry.
(The girl looks worried)
Guy OV: Get lost!
[The camera pans in on the voice of the voice of the guy, starting at the ground and slowly panning up the robe until it reaches his leering face and fades to black.]
Scene 8
[The camera fades in and pans along the corridor of the airport to one of the fire exits and outside to the runway. Tai-san sits on one set of the steps that are outside. She has her hand placed on the pregnant swollen belly and rubs it gently.]
Tai-san: My dreams. They're about me. About my baby. Oh god.
(Tai-san starts to cry softly)
Tai-san: I feel so alone. So very, very alone.
(Reaching into her pocket she grabs a hankie and wipes her eyes)
Tai-san: I need you Lex. More now than ever.
[Tai-san breaks down into sobs and brings her knees up to her chest as she cries. The camera then fades to black.]
Scene 9
[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Trudy standing at the entrance to the school as she looks at it sadly. In one hand she holds a picture of Eric and in the other a small bunch of wild flowers. Sitting down at the entrance to the school Trudy smiles fondly at the picture.]
Trudy: I did it Eric. I took Felicity back to your tribe. She's happy now.... she's with family.
(Trudy ties the picture of Eric to the flowers and then pulls out one of Felicity's baby rattles from her bag, tying them all together in a neat little package.)
Trudy: I came here because this is the last place that I remember us being together... all of us. Being happy. I wanted to come here to say goodbye. I need to move on. I need to be happy. So thank you. Thank you for taking the time to love me, and being a part of my life.
(Trudy places the small parcel at the entrance to the school)
Trudy: Goodbye and I hope that we meet again some day.
[Trudy turns her back on the school, and with one last look over her school she walks away from her past, back towards the Freedom Fighters base as the camera cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 10
[Camera pans around the same open space as before but this time at the other end. A door opens and May steps out onto the roof of the airport, she quickly scans the area but doesn’t see Salene, she is about to go back down the steps but hears the cry of a baby]
(May leaves the door open and makes her way towards the other end of the roof keeping in the shadows, in the distance she can see Salene standing close to the end with Oscar in her arms. May steps out her heart beating hard against her chest)
May: (Softly) Salene?
(Salene turns around to face her, tears are running down her face)
Salene: (shakes her head) Go away May!
May: Sweetheart what are you doing?
Salene: Please May just go away…I need to do this!
May: And Oscar? Does he need you to do this?
Salene: You can’t take him away from me…May don’t let them take him away from me…
May: No one is going to take him away from you, but Lottie is his mother!
Salene: NO!
(Salene turns back to May and takes another step to the edge)
May: Salene stop….your breaking my heart!
Salene: I’m sorry!
May: Just come away from the edge and we can have a little chat yea?
Salene: (looks over her shoulder) ok but just a little chat!
[Salene turns back around and moves away from the edge, May lets out a sigh of relief as the camera fades to black]
Scene 11
[Camera fades in from black to show Phoenix and Apollo coming out from one of the more trashed aeroplanes sitting in a bunker. Phoenix walks ahead of Apollo, with his hands deep inside his jeans pockets due to the cold. When Phoenix reaches the door he turns to face his brother]
Phoenix: You coming cause I don’t think Salene is here?
(Apollo nods and jogs to his brothers side, as they step out into the cold, Apollo shoves his hands into his jacket pockets, as they walk across the runway, Apollo looks up at his brother)
Apollo: (Whispers) I’m sorry!
(Phoenix stops and turns to face him)
Phoenix: Pardon?
Apollo: I said I’m sorry, you know about the other day, I was being a jerk!
Phoenix: (Frowns) You sure was, a complete jerk!
Apollo: OK then, I was being a complete jerk
Phoenix: (Smiles) I’m glad you’ve come to accept it!
(Phoenix sets off again back to the airport)
Apollo: (Calls out) So are we cool then bro?
(Phoenix turns back and walks back to Apollo)
Phoenix: Yea we’re cool bro
(Apollo holds his hand out and the brothers shake hands before Phoenix pulls Apollo into a tight embrace)
Apollo: (Laughing) Get off!
Phoenix: (Grins) You asked for it!
[As the camera pans out onto the two boys embrace, it pans around and we can see Salene standing on the airport roof]
Scene 12
[Camera cuts back to the roof to show that Salene and May are in the same places as were we last saw them.]
Salene: Just a little chat ok?
May: (Nods) That’s all I want!
(Salene steps further away from the edge but keeps Oscar close to her chest)
May: You know I love you don’t you Salene?
Salene: (Nods) Of course I do, and I love you too!
May: Do you?
Salene: You know I do?
May: So why are you doing this to me? Leaving me?
Salene: Cause I need Oscar with me forever!
May: But he’s never going to be with you forever, he’s going to grow up and want to live his own life but if you jump of the roof now he will never have that life, don’t you understand!
Salene: But if I don’t then Lottie will take him and the others will help, I don’t want that!
May: (shakes her head) I don’t want that either!
Salene: You don’t?
May: Of course not! I don’t want Lottie to break up my family, so we will have to get away!
Salene: (smiles) You mean leave the Mallrats, me, you and Oscar?
May: (Smiles back) Yes and we will be happy and no one will ruin what we have!
(May holds her arms out)
May: Come to me Salene!
[Salene nods and starts to walk towards May. Camera fades to black]
Scene 13
[Camera fades in from black to show Axel and Darryl walking hand in hand through the airport’s main doors. With a smile, Axel pushes Darryl up against the door and kisses him on the lips]
Darryl: (Confused) What was that for?
Axel: just cos oh and for treating me to the best day at the beach I have had in a long time!
Darryl: (Smirks) Might have to treat you more often if that’s what I get in return!
(The two boys share another kiss)
Axel: Oh and another thing, if you really want to move in together, then I’m ok with it!
Darryl: Only if you want me to!
Axel: (Nods) I want you to!
[Darryl smiles and wraps his arms around Axel’s neck in delight and places another kiss on his lovers lips. Camera cuts to the next scene]
Scene 14
[The camera cuts in from the previous scene. Ebony is watching Calli and Enola through the doorway to the dining area when Dreamer walks past her.]
Dreamer: Interesting view?
(Ebony turns around to face her.)
Ebony: Yeah... it is as a matter of a fact.
Dreamer: Care to share?
(Ebony smirks)
Ebony: You see her. Calli?
Dreamer (nods): Yeah. What about her?
Ebony: I know her. From the past.
Dreamer: How? She doesn't even know who she is.
Ebony: She was a Mallrat. In fact she was the leader of the city for a while.
Dreamer (laughs): Before you stepped in?
(Ebony laughs)
Ebony: Yeah you could say that. Her name is Danni. She was involved with Bray.
Dreamer: Amber's partner?
Ebony?: Yeah. And as much as Trudy is being blind to the fact that Calli is Danni. There's no doubting it. She's Danni. As real as day. And that is going to cause some problems. For one couple anyway.
[Ebony smirks at Dreamer, the camera zooming in on her red lips before fading to black.]
Scene 15
[The camera fades in from black to show Lex hovering in the doorway to his and Tai-san's room as Tai-san sits brushing her hair. Seeing Lex in the doorway, Tai-san stops brushing her hair and smiles into the mirror.]
Tai-san: Lex? Did you want something?
(Lex nods. Several minutes of silence pass. Tai-san turns around on her stool to face Lex)
Tai-san: You going to tell me what that is then? Or do I have to take a psychic guess?
Lex: Sorry. Just I was trying to find the words.
Tai-san (softly): Lex... it's just me.
Lex (sighs): I know... I'm just worried.
Tai-san: About finding the right words?
Lex: About saying the wrong ones. I didn't want to say the wrong thing and upset you. That's what.
Tai-san: Okay... so now tell me. Before I get worried about what you're not saying to me.
(Lex sighs and sits on the bed opposite Tai-san)
Lex (small voice): I'm scared.
Tai-san: You're what?
Lex: I'm scared! Okay!
Tai-san: Of me?
Lex (shakes his head): No... of being a dad!
(Tai-san moves to sit besides Lex as she puts her hand on his.)
Lex: I'm scared of what might happen if I start to believe that the baby could really happen.
Tai-san: Because of Zandra?
Lex (nods): Yeah...
Tai-san: Lex... look at me!
(Lex turns to face Tai-san)
Tai-san: There's nothing to be scared of. We can do this together. Okay?
Lex (nods): Okay...
[Tai-san and Lex cuddle, the camera pans around to show Tai-san's worried looking face as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 16
[Camera fades in from black to show Salene stepping closer to May. Camera pans out to show Lottie coming up the stairs to the roof, when she reaches the top she hears Salene and May talking and just like May she keeps to the shadows as she makes her other side of the roof]
Salene: So do you think we can really leave the Mallrats, today?
May: Of course Salene I don’t see why not, we can be one big happy family!
Salene: I love you May
May: (Holding back her tears) I know sweetheart!
(Camera cuts back to Lottie who can now see the couple, anger builds up inside her and without a second thought she steps out from her hiding place and lets out a ear piecing scream)
(Camera cuts to Salene and May)
May: (Shocked) NO!
(Before May has time to react, Salene has turned and rushed off to the end of the roof. May is able to catch up, she grabs Salene by the collar and throws the other girl to the floor, praying that Oscar is ok.)
Salene: (Looks up) May?
May: (Shakes her head) I’m sorry!
(May curls her hand into a fist and slams it into the side of Salene’s head; she repeats his until Salene is knocked out. She picks up Oscar who is crying but luckily unscratched. She turns her back on Salene and walks back towards Lottie.)
(May hands Oscar to Lottie and heads towards the stairway)
Lottie: Thank you May!
May: (Crying) Don’t mention it! I’ll let the others know she is up here, you best go somewhere save until she is locked up!
[Lottie nods and sends a final look at Salene before she follows May. Camera zooms in on Salene’s lifeless body before fading out]
Scene 17
[The camera cuts in to show Cloe sitting in the cafe, she is drinking a glass of orange juice and flipping through a old and worn magazine. The camera pans to the doorway, where Darryl is lurking quietly, he looks worried and then runs a hand through his hair before entering.]
Darryl (quietly): Hey Cloe.
(Cloe looks up and says nothing)
Darryl: Is this seat taken?
(Darryl points to a seat opposite Cloe)
Cloe (shrugs): Doesn't look like it. Does it?
Darryl: Yeah.
(Darryl sits down and clears his throat)
Darryl: Um... Cloe... um...
(Cloe sighs and slams shut the magazine)
Cloe: Yes?
Darryl: I... wanted to...
Cloe: Look, it this another lame attempt to apologise for being the world's biggest ass, you can forget it...
(Cloe gets up and picks up her glass and magazine)
Cloe: ...I've got better things to waste my time on!
[Cloe storms out of the room as Darryl sighs and puts his head in his hands, the camera zooms to his face and the cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 18
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Calli sitting brushing Rain's hair as Ebony approaches and sits next to Calli. Calli looks up at Ebony dubiously and pats Rain's shoulders, signalling for her daughter to go and play.]
Calli: Did you want something?
Ebony: Just a friendly chat.
Calli: Yeah. About what?
Ebony: About Rain...
(Calli stands up and starts to pick up the toys that are on the floor so as to create a distraction)
Ebony: So Rain is what... 3?
Calli: Yeah.
Ebony: And you don't know who the father is?
Calli: No.
Ebony: And you don't remember any of your past, before you were pregnant?
Calli: No. What is this? The Spanish inquisition?
(Ebony shakes her head and walks closer to Calli)
Ebony: No need to get your knickers in a twist. I was only taking an interest.
Calli: Well don't!
(Ebony smirks)
Ebony: Sore subject?
(Calli glares at Ebony)
Ebony: I'll just leave you and your 'daughter' alone.
Calli (coldly): You do that!
[Calli glares after Ebony as she walks out of the room. The camera cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 19
[Gel is sitting in her private jet, painting her nails another shade of pink as Apollo knocks on the door.]
Gel: Yeah?
Apollo: I brought you some more water.
Gel: Lame.
Apollo (shrugs): Yeah, well... I couldn't come up with anything else.
Gel: So?
Apollo: So?
Gel: You wanna tell me why you've come to see me?
Apollo: I just wanted to straighten things out.
Gel: Huh?
(Apollo smirks and takes a seat opposite Gel)
Apollo: I've been a bit of an ass recently. With you and Phoenix. Teasing and things like that. I spoke to him and we're cool. But I wanted to talk to you. Smooth the way and all that.
Gel: Uh-huh... and what have you told him?
Apollo: Well I said that I was sorry...
Gel: No... I meant about me... about him and me.
(Apollo looks embarrassed)
Apollo: Just stuff. About how you guys haven't... you know!
Gel (nods): I get the picture. But why the teasing?
Apollo: Gel, let me tell you something about Phoenix. He's always been the type to jump into bed with a girl and then ask her name in the morning. He's always been a bit of a man eater, heck, he's always been a bit of an idol of mine. But I'd never tell him that.
Gel: And so... with me?
Apollo: Well I'm guessing it must be love, since he hasn't jumped your bones yet.
Gel: You have the sweetest way of saying things.
(Apollo grins)
Apollo: Don't I just? So, you and me, we're okay?
Gel: Well that depends!
Apollo: On what?
Gel: If you let me paint your nails?
(Apollo looks worried)
Apollo: Yeah... right!
Gel (looks deadpan): I'm not kidding.
[The camera zooms to Apollo's disgusted looking face and then cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 20
[Camera cuts to show May walking into the bedroom which she shared with Salene. She crosses the room and takes a seat at the edge of the bed, her hands are shaking, she closes her eyes and the image of her hitting Salene repeats inside her head again and again]
(The Pussy Cat Dolls – Happy never after plays through this scene)
"I don't think I want this anymore"
As she drops the ring to the floor
She says to herself "You've left before
This time you will stay gone , that's for sure"
(May pushes herself up and walks across the room to face a wall which is covered in photos of herself and Salene; she shakes her head in disgust as she starts to pull the pictures down)
And he shattered something as
She dragged her suitcase down the path
To the driveway
She had never gone that far
Normally this would be
The time that she
Would let him talk her out of leaving
But this time, without crying
As she got into her car
She said
(May then goes over to Salene’s side of the bed and starts to pull out Salene’s clothes from under the bed and puts them into a pile on the bed)
No..
Happily never after
That just aint for me Because finally
I know, I deserve better, after all
I'll never let another tear-drop fall
As she drove away she starts to smile
Realized she hadn't for a while
No destination, she drove for miles
Wonderin' why she stayed in such denial
[May finally lets the tears fall from her eyes and collapses onto her bed, she reaches for one of Salene's top’s and holds it against her chest. Camera zooms out before fading out to black]
Scene 21
[Camera fades in from black to show Lottie sat on the floor in her own bedroom, she is hugging Oscar close to her chest and places small kisses on his forehead]
Lottie: I’m so sorry I left you…but it’s never going to happen again I have you now and no one is going to take you away from me again, I promise!
(Lottie smiles down at him and cant stop the tears which are rolling down her face, she doesn’t bother wiping them away because for the first time in ages she is crying tears of happiness)
Lottie: I love you Oscar.
[Camera zooms in on them before fading to black]
Scene 22
[Patsy and Cloe are sitting in the breakfast bar area, looking after Brady and Bray jnr when Cloe points behind her
Cloe: You have a visitor Pats.
Patsy: I do?
(Patsy turns round, when she sees it is KC her smile turns to a frown)
Patsy: What do you want?
KC: Can we talk?
Cloe: Go on... I'll be fine here
(Patsy sighs and gets up, going to the other end of the room with KC, as she keeps her arms crossed and looks away from him)
KC: Pats.
(KC puts his hand on her chin and brings her eyes up to meet his)
KC: Pats. Look, I wanted to say that I'm sorry.
Patsy: Yeah.
KC: And that I love you and I wanted to give you this.
(KC pulls out a small daisy and hands it to Patsy)
Patsy: Are you joking?
KC: What?
Patsy: After what you said... a flower and a sorry... it doesn't work!
(KC looks confused)
KC: Huh?
Patsy: Maybe this will help!
(Patsy slaps KC hard across the face)
KC: Ouch!
Patsy: You hurt me! Leave me alone!
(KC brings his hand up his reddening face, mumbles something and leaves the room. Patsy looks after KC and breaks down into sobs as she falls onto a nearby chair)
Brady: Ouch!
Bray jnr: Ouch!
[Cloe goes over to comfort her friend before the camera cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 23
[Camera cuts from the last scene to show Apollo leaving Gel’s privet jet with his hands behind his back, he frowns when he sees Phoenix making his way towards him]
Phoenix: Alright bro?
Apollo: (Nods) Yea got to go though.
(Apollo quickly crosses his arms over his chest and runs back towards the airport. Phoenix shakes his head and steps into the jet to find Gel closing the lid on a pot of bright pink nail polish. Gel looks up and gives him a weak smile)
Phoenix: What has he said to you…I’ll kill him!
Gel: (Shakes her head) Nothing we just chatted, he said sorry about the other day but he also said something else that made me think?
Phoenix: about what?
(Phoenix takes a seat next to Gel, keeping his eyes locked on hers)
Gel: (Goes red) Is there something wrong with me?
Phoenix: Don’t be soft Gel, you know your perfect in every way
Gel: But Apollo told me that back with the Modes you normally slept with your girlfriends as soon as you got with them so there must be something wrong with me!
Phoenix: (Smiles) Don’t you see that’s why we haven’t slept together, everything about you is perfect, and with the other girls it never lasted, so I don’t want to rush things so that we stay together forever!
Gel: (Shocked) IS that what you want…to be together for ever?
Phoenix: (Nods) Yea…don’t you?
(Gel lets out a squeal before she throws herself into Phoenix arms)
Gel: I love you Phoenix
Phoenix: (Smirks) I know!
[Camera zooms in on the happy couple before fading to black]
Scene 24
[Camera fades in from black to show Salene being led down a dark corridor she has her hands handcuffed and walking in front of her is Amber and Alice with Lex and Ryan behind her. As the small party reaches the holding cells, Alice pulls out a set of keys from her pocket and opens the first door before Salene is pushed into the cell by Ryan]
Ryan: (whispers) I’m sorry Salene!
Salene: (Tears running down her face) Whatever!
(Ryan leaves the cell, as the door is shut behind him, the small window in the door is opened and Amber looks in)
Amber: Salene?
(No answer)
Amber: Salene I know you can hear me but just so you know, we will be keeping you locked up in here until we can decided how we are going to help you, we are really sorry Salene but it’s for your own good! Salene we all love you!
(Amber shakes her head as she shuts the window)
Alice: (Whispers) Poor girl
Lex: (Nods) She’s really lost it this time
[The small party heads back to the rest of the tribe, camera cuts to inside the holding cell to find that Salene is sat on the small make shift bed with tears running down her face. Camera slowly fades out]
Scene 25
[Ether camera fades in from the previous scene. The Mallrats are gathered in the cafe of the airport, talking over what has just happened. Lottie and Sammy sit eyeing up Oscar and enjoying a family moment, May is being hugged by Cloe as Bray and Amber both fuss over Bray jnr. and Brady plays with KC and Patsy]
Patsy: I just can't believe it... I can't believe Salene would...
Brady: Mummy!
KC: Yeah Brady... mummy will be home soon!
(Brady screams and jumps off of the chair as she rushes towards the doorway)
Brady: Mummy!
(The camera pans around to show Trudy and co at the doorway. Trudy drops down as she scoops up her daughter and swings her around.)
Ellie (yells): Trudy!
(Everyone stops what they are doing to look at the direction that Brady has run in. All of the Mallrats realising that Trudy has returned.)
Trudy: Hi everyone!
(The Mallrats all start talking at once as they rush around Trudy)
Amber: What happened? Where have you been?
Trudy: I met some friends.
Bray: Who...
Slade: Me for one!
Jack: Slade?
Slade: Yep... it's me...
Lex: Where you been mate? We thought you were dead.
Slade: Nah. It's a long story and not very interesting!
(The Mallrats laugh)
Trudy: I have some more friends that I brought with me.
Amber: Who? Where are they?
Trudy: Here!
(Trudy motions for Calli, Enola and Rain to come in. The camera pans around the group of Mallrats as some of their jaws drop)
Ellie: Oh my god!
[The camera pans from Calli to Rain and then to Bray as the camera zooms in on his pale face and cuts to credits.]
