Scene 1

[Camera fades in from opening credits, it pans around the Chosen’s new camp. It enters one of the wooden huts to show one of the pregnant women from the last episode, sat up in her bed which is covered in blue silk sheets. She has the covers pulled up to her waist, her hair is curled which she runs her fingers through. The door is opened and in steps three lower down female members of the Chosen, the middle one is holding a tray of food. All three bow down before they walk further in. The smallest one sets the tray onto the supreme mothers lap before she helps the others prepare the room. A short knock at the door causes all four of them to turn to the door as it is reopened and the guardian steps in]

Supreme mother: Good morning my Guardian
Guardian: (smiles) and how are we feeling today Tanzie?
Tanzie: (Smiles back) Very well thank you Guardian!

(The guardian walks further into the room before he pulls a wooden chair from out under a desk and sits on it by Tanzie’s bedside)

Guardian: (Takes Tanzie’s hand) You know you are my most faithful follower and I always take into account of your views so I would like to know how you feel last night went?
Tanzie: (shakes her head) You don’t need to ask such question’s my guardian, last night was more of a success then any of us thought it would be our numbers have doubled after last night….the power of Zoot will once again put fear into the lives of everyone!
Guardian: (kisses her hand) If only everyone had the same faith as you as the first true Supreme mother…
Tanzie: And how is the second supreme mother getting on…Zoot visited me again last night with concerns…
Guardian: He should have no concerns she is loyal to the cause…but I will speak to her later!
Tanzie: (Smiles) Good…now guardian I must ask you to leave to allow me to prepare for today!
Guardian: (Stands up) Very well…I must go down to the pray hall…will I see you down there?
Tanzie: Of course my Guardian.

(The Guardian turns and leaves, as soon as his back is turned Tanzie smile falls before she turns back to her breakfast, she sees her hand maids are watching her)

Tanzie: (spits) Get back to work!

[Tanzie places her tray onto the now empty chair before letting her head drop onto the pillow. She closes her eyes as the camera fades to black]

Scene 2

[Camera slowly fades in from black to show Salene in her Cell, she is walking back and forth every now and then stopping to look out of the small window, during this she is talking to herself]

Salene: (in a small voice) Perfect mother…yea that’s what I will be, the best mother, better then the others, they think they can stop me being a mother they have no idea….

(Salene looks out of the window and rests her head into her hands)

Salene: This is the last time my family EVER turn their backs to me, they will regret the day they took my son away from me and gave him back to that dirty slut!

[Camera zooms in on Salene’s hard face before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 3

[Camera cuts to show Cloe sleeping in her bed; she pulls the cover further up. All of a sudden the peaceful sleeping Cloe wakes up with a coughing fit.]

(She pushes herself up and covers her mouth with one of her hands as she continues to cough, finding it hard to breathe)

(As the coughing comes to an end, Cloe lets out a sigh as she lets her body sink back into bed; she wipes her face with one of her hands to find it covered in sweat.

[Cloe closes her eyes as she tries to go back to sleep, camera fades out]

Scene 4

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Enola sitting in her new room, the camera fades to wall and shows all of the Mallrats, the camera pans over pictures of Bray, Amber, Lex, Ryan and all members of the tribe. Underneath each name, Enola has written notes about members of the tribe. She stares at the picture of May and frowns.]

Enola: I'm going to find out what makes you tick. What makes you all tick?

(The camera zooms to the picture of Trudy)

Enola: If it's the last thing I do!

[Camera pans to Enola and zooms to her staring eyes before fading to black.]

Scene 5

[The camera fades in from the previous scene, and pans into the kitchen area to show Trudy furiously chopping vegetables for dinner, as she picks up an onion and starts to peel it. The camera moves to show Trudy's face, as a pair of hands slip over her eyes.]

OV: Guess who?

(Trudy moves the hands off her face)

Trudy: I know it's you Slade.
Slade: Okay. Ruin the moment then.

(Trudy picks up the onion and cuts it in half)

Trudy: What do you want?
Slade: We have to talk.
Trudy: About what?
Slade: About what happened Trudy. We kissed. A lot.
Trudy: Yeah... so, it happens sometimes.

(Trudy starts to slice the onion)

Slade: Not to me it doesn't.
Trudy: Just leave me alone Slade.
Slade: No I won't.

(Slade puts his hands on Trudy's hips and turns her to face him)

Slade: We need to talk.
Trudy: Just leave me alone.
Slade: Trudy...

(Slade puts his hand on Trudy's cheek)

Trudy: Don't Slade.
Slade: Trudy!

(Trudy pulls away)

Trudy: Please, don't!

(Trudy removes herself from Slade's embrace and flees the kitchen in tears. Slade glances at the half cut onion and sighs)

Slade: Was that me or the onion?

[Camera zooms in on the onion and fades to black.]

Scene 6

[The camera fades in, Calli and Patsy are sitting in the cafe at opposite ends, Patsy picks up her mug and walks over to the seat opposite Calli.]

Patsy: Mind if I take a seat?
Calli: Be my guest...

(Patsy pulls out the chair and sits down)

Calli: Patsy... right?
Patsy (nods): Yeah... so how are you finding things?
Calli: Strange.
Patsy: Interesting choice of words.
Calli (nods): Yeah. But I don't really know what else to say. It's nice to be hear, I think it's a better place for Rain to be. But there's something, something I just can't put my finger on.
Patsy: Hmm. It must be difficult.
Calli: What?
Patsy: Not knowing anything about your past, I can't imagine not knowing what had happened to me. I mean yeah, some of it really has sucked in the last couple of years, but here I am, happy healthy and in love. It's strange, how things happen. Don't you think?

(Calli looks at Patsy for the longest time)

Calli: Yeah. I think it is. I think things happen for a reason. You know?
Patsy (nods): Yeah... I know exactly what you mean.

[The camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 7

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Alice and Ellie sitting in Alice's room. As as Alice picks up her bag.]

Ellie: Alice, what are you doing? Going on a trip?

(Alice shrugs)

Alice: You could say that.
Ellie (frowns): Huh?
Alice: Look Ellie. There's no easy way to say this, so I'm just going to come out and say it.
Ellie: Are you dying?
Alice: Um... not that I'm aware of.
Ellie: So what is it then?
Alice: I'm moving out...
Ellie: You're moving out! But where will you go?

(Alice shrugs)

Alice: I haven't figured that part out yet!
Ellie: But Alice... I need you!
Alice: Ellie... you haven't needed me in a long time. Those last couple of years that you were without me... you did so well, I'm so proud of the woman you've become Ellie.
Ellie: But why? We're you're family...
Alice (nods): Yeah... but I need to do this Ellie.

(Ellie shakes her head)

Ellie (yells): Well you're being very selfish!
Alice: Me? Because I want to make a life for myself?! What's so selfish about that?
Ellie: You just don't understand Alice... you never will!

[Ellie gets up and storms out of the room, Alice glances after her sister, shakes her head and then picks up her bag as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 8

[The camera fades in from black to show Lex standing in the doorway to his bedroom, as Tai-san lays on the bed, reading a book.]

Lex: Do you know?

(Tai-san doesn't look up from her book)

Tai-san: Do I know what?
Lex: That you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!

(Tai-san puts her book down and rolls her eyes)

Tai-san: Nice try Lex... but I feel far from beautiful, I feel fat and ugly, not to mention swollen!

(Lex laughs as he jumps on the bed)

Lex: There's just something about you being pregnant that makes you look even more beautiful.

(Lex lays his head against Tai-san's bump, his face lights up as he does)

Lex: Did you?
Tai-san: Yeah... I felt it alright... little one likes to kick!
Lex (laughs): It's amazing.

(Lex puts his head back on Tai-san's bump and looks happy, a stray tear rolls down his cheek)

Tai-san: Yeah... amazing.

[The camera pans to Tai-san, her face creased in worry as she takes a deep breath before the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 9

[Camera pans around the small park which is down the road from the airport, here we find Lottie, Sammy and baby Oscar sat on a small blanket with a selection of food spread out.]

(Lottie leans over the food and places a small kiss on Sammy’s unprepared lips)

Sammy: (smirks) What was that for?
Lottie: For being you, the best guy in the whole world…well apart from Oscar
Sammy: (Smiles) Well in that case…

(Sammy leans over the food and kisses Lottie with a lot more passion then their last kiss)

Sammy: (Cont) that’s for being the most amazing person I have ever known and the fact that I love you more then words could describe…

(Lottie smiles at him before picking Oscar up and pulling him close against her chest)

Lottie: (Studies her son for awhile) I don’t think Oscar looks like an Oscar anymore?
Sammy: (confused) Say what?
Lottie: After everything we’ve been through I don’t think Oscar suits him….
Sammy: What did you have in mind then?

(Lottie sits still for awhile looking at her son with an opened mind)

Lottie: (smiles) Xavier?
Sammy: (thinks for a moment) Xavier? Yea I like that!
Lottie: Me too…it means new son!
Sammy: What do you think son….Do you prefer the name Xavier to Oscar?

(Xavier/Oscar lets out a gurgle in reply and the couple laugh)

Sammy: I guess so

[Camera pans out before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 10

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show May sitting staring into a cold cup of coffee in the cafe, as Enola approaches and sits in a seat opposite her. May does not glance up.]

Enola: Cheer up, it can't be that bad!

(May laughs into the cafe)

Enola: What? Something eating you? You gotta look on the bright side of life!
May: The bright side of life!
Enola: Yeah. Things can only get better!
May: My god, don't you listen to yourself! You sound like an advert for some happy go lucky holiday vacation.
Enola: So!

(May stands up)

May: Things ain't always so brilliant, I don't need some jumped up spotty brat telling me I should look on the bright side of life.
Enola: Hey!
May: No! You listen! You're a fucking brat. Mind your own business and get lost!

(May then throws the remainder of her coffee over Enola)

May: And don't speak to me... EVER AGAIN!

(Enola watches May storm off and wipes the cold coffee from her face)

Enola: Freak!

(Axel, who has been watching from the doorway comes in and hands Enola a towel)

Enola: Please, tell me... what is her problem?
Axel (sighs): Where to start....

[Axel grabs a seat next to Enola as he starts to explain May's recent circumstances; the camera then fades to black.]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black to show that we are back at the Chosen camp. Camera pans around to show different members of the tribe hard at work. Tanzie comes out from one of the huts, followed by her three hand maids, as she walks through the camps, the members of tribe stop what they are doing and bow down to her]

(Tanzie makes her way to the largest building in the centre of the camp, to the left of it is the large stage. She walks up the steps and pushes the large doors open.)

(She makes her way along the corridor before pushing another door open where we find the Guardian standing on a small stage where in front of him are a large group of new members knelt on the floor)

Guardian: (Holds his arms in the arm) Zoot be praised…
Followers: and to his chosen victory!

[Tanzie gives the guardian a small smile before she takes a seat at the back of the room while her handmaids join in with pray. Camera pans out before fading into the next scene]

Scene 12

[Camera fades in from black to show Tai-san sitting outside on one of the runways, as Trudy approaches from afar.]

Trudy: Tai-san?
Tai-san: Come on Trudy... you don't need to ask permission to talk to me?
Trudy: Oh Tai-san, you me too well!

(Tai-san laughs as Trudy comes and sits opposite)

Tai-san: So I take it there's been an update in the romance saga?
Trudy: With Slade?
Tai-san: Yeah, unless you've changed your mind about your feelings?
Trudy: No I haven't changed my mind. In fact things are getting more interesting.
Tai-san: Oh... do tell.
Trudy: Well, last week we kissed.
Tai-san: Uh huh...
Trudy: No I mean really kissed. One of those kisses when you're head spins and your heart beats so loudly that you can't hear anything else but the sound of your blood pumping in your veins.
Tai-san: Oh my.
Trudy: What?
Tai-san: It sounds like you have it bad... really bad.

(Trudy blushes bright red)

Tai-san: I'm going to say what I said before, follow your heart Trudy, you don't find love that often, and when it comes knocking, I'd take a chance and risk it all.
Trudy: Really?
Tai-san: Yes...

[Trudy nods at Tai-san as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 13

[Camera fades in from black to show Sammy and Lottie walking hand in hand through woods near the outskirts of the city, Sammy is holding Xavier with his free hand against his chest. The couple come to a small river where they sit down on the bank. Beyonce - Ave Maria plays through this scene]

She was lost in so many different ways
Out in the darkness with no guide
I know the cost of a losing hand
Never thought the grace of god go high

(Lottie and Sammy slip their shoes off before stepping into the river, they smile at each other as the cold hits them but they don’t get out. Sammy hands Xavier over to Lottie who holds him in both arms)

(Sammy scoops water into his hands before letting a few drops fall onto Xavier’s head before speaking some unheard words)

(Lottie lets tears of joys fall from her eyes as she passes Xavier back to Sammy and repeats what he did but whispering her own unheard words)

(Lottie Leans down and places a small kiss on Xavier before resting her head against Sammy’s shoulder)

[Camera pans out on the scene before cutting to black]

Scene 14

[The camera fades in from black to show the Mallrats gathered in the cafe area, eating dinner. The mood is subdued from what has been going on with Salene, and May is absent from the group. Amber passes Bray jnr his plate of food, and then smacks his hand when he starts to make shapes with his mashed potato.]

Amber: Don't play with your food.
Bray jnr: Sorry mummy.

(Amber ruffles Bray jar's hair and then glances at Bray. She frowns when she follows his line of sight and sees that it is directed at Calli.)

Amber (hisses): Bray!

(Bray does not see Amber glaring at him and she kicks him underneath the table.)

Bray: Hey!
Amber: Watch where you're looking!
Bray: Amber... I!

(Amber covered her mouth so that Bray can't see)

Amber: Watch your eyes!
Bray: Oh come on!
Amber: I mean it!
Bray: Amber!
Amber: Don't Amber me... and don't bother coming back tonight!
Bray: What?!
Amber: You're not welcome!

[Amber gets up and excuses herself from the table, as the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 15

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Lex and Ryan on patrol around the school, as Lex speaks in a high pitched excited voice.]

Lex: So it was really exciting... feeling the baby really kick. It's like it's real really this time.
Ryan: Uh, huh.
Lex: You know... with Zan it was different, because the baby wasn't even really real when she died. But this time... it's...
Ryan: Different.
Lex: Yeah... how was it when Cass was pregnant?
Ryan: The same. You know I was an annoying idiot who wouldn't shut up!

(Lex frowns and then smiles)

Lex: Am I being a pain?
Ryan (shakes his head): No... just repetitive. We've been on patrol for 40 minutes and you haven't stopped talking!
Lex: I know... I'm just excited to be a dad.
Ryan: Great... but how about we do some work first?
Lex (nods): Yeah, why not!

[Ryan pats Lex on the back of the shoulders before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 16

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Bray walking down the street, he kicks at a stray stone and walks down the road.]

Bray: Come on Bray, snap out of it.

(The camera pans up to the lights of the nearby bar and then back to Bray as he shrugs)

Bray: Better than nothing I guess.

(Bray walks into the bar, the camera pans around and Bray smiles when he sees a familiar face)

Dreamer: Bray?
Bray (nods): How are you?
Dreamer: Bored. What are you doing here?
Bray: Drowning my sorrows... you?
Dreamer: Same. Want a drink?

[Bray nods as Dreamer order tequila shots from the barman and the camera fades to black.]

Scene 17

[Camera fades in from black, we see Lottie, Sammy and a sleeping Xavier returning to the airport. Sammy pulls Lottie into the burnt out bus shelter and sits her down on the seat]

Sammy: I’ve been thinking?
Lottie: (smirks) Don’t hurt yourself babe!
Sammy: (Frowns) You trying to ruin this perfect day!
Lottie: (Fighting back laughter) Sorry!
Sammy: Anyway as I was trying to say…I was thinking and after everything we’ve been through the last couple of years….all the bad memories we have in this city…wouldn’t it be best if we just packed up our things and started a new life!

(Lottie sits in silence for a couple of minutes as she thinks over what Sammy has just said)

Lottie: (speaks up) I have thought about that…a lot while I was staying with the naturals…but when it came down to it, the good memories we have here are so much stronger then the bad ones we have, and the Mallrats are our family, so at the moment I don’t want to leave but that doesn’t mean I wont want to in the future cause you and Xavier are my family now and what ever the future holds we will see it through together!

(Sammy nods before he leans over and kisses Lottie on the forehead)

Sammy: I love you Lottie!
Lottie: (smiles) I love you too…

[Sammy stands up before helping Lottie up and the couple head towards the airport before the camera fades to black]

Scene 18

[Camera fades in from black to show Cloe walking along a dark corridor she has to stop as another coughing fit takes over her. She wipes her mouth with the back of her hand before she carries on down the corridor. She pulls a key out from her back pocket and unlocks Salene’s cell before stepping in forgetting to lock the door behind her]

Salene: (confused) Cloe? What you doing here?
Cloe: Come to see you (trying not to cry) I miss you so much Salene…
Salene: (shakes her head) You shouldn’t be down here, you know that! Come on Cloe don’t make this harder then it already is!
Cloe: (shakes her head) I’m sorry…I just wanted you to know that no matter what has happened I will always love you…we all love you Salene and want to see you get better...
Salene: (smiles) Thank you Cloe that really means a lot to me…

(Salene covers her mouth as she starts to cry)

Cloe: (starts to cry as well) Oh Salene!

(Cloe rushes over to the person she has always looked up to and wraps her arms around her)

Cloe: It’s going to be ok Salene…I promise….we will help you….you just gotta let us!
Salene: I want to get better Cloe I really do, it’s just hard you know…

[Cloe nods understanding where Salene is coming from. As they continue to hug, Salene looks up and sees that the door is little open, a smirk crosses her lips as the scene fades to black]

Scene 19

[The camera pans around the doorway, as two black leather clad boots step in, and the camera pans up the body to show a pregnant Ebony standing in the doorway, she smirks as she looks around.]

Ebony: Anyone home?

(Amber, Tai-san and Cass emerge from a nearby room)

Tai-san: Ebony.
Ebony: Yes... I'm back!
Amber: Well you can go right back out the way you came!
Ebony (raises an eyebrow): Yeah?
Tai-san: Amber... she's pregnant! We can't just throw her out?
Amber: Yeah! Watch me!
Cass: AMBER!

(Amber turns around)

Amber: What! She's a tramp, a useless tramp, she deserves to be in the gutter, her and the bastard that she's carrying!
Tai-san: AMBER!

(Amber glares at Ebony and then Tai-san and Cass)

Amber: Just keep her out of my sight!

(Amber storms off as the camera pans back around to Ebony who looks at Tai-san and then breaks down into tears as Tai-san rushes to her side)

Tai-san: Ebony! Please don't cry, she didn't mean it!
Ebony: Yes she did!
Cass: Come on... let's get you a bed.
Tai-san: Yes, come on Ebony.

[The camera zooms to Ebony's sad face and then cuts to black.]

Scene 20

[Camera fades in from black to show Salene standing in the door way of her cell, she takes one last look into the cell before shaking her head, regretting what she did]

Salene: (whispers) I’m sorry Cloe, I really am…I never meant for it to happen but you have to understand what I’m going through….remember I will always love you!

(Salene steps out of the cell and closes the door, she locks it and places the spare keys into her back pocket before walking down the corridor with a smile)

[Camera cuts to the inside of the cell to show Cloe knocked out cold on the floor, a large bump coming up from where Salene has thrown her against the brick seat. Camera zooms in before fading to black]

Scene 21

[The camera fades in from black to show Trudy sitting in the nearby park and watching Brady and Bray jnr playing. She smiles to herself, when a pair of hands slip over her eyes.]

Slade: Guess who!
Trudy: Slade... I know it's you.

(Slade sighs as he takes a seat next to Trudy)

Slade: You're not gonna run away this time are you? Trudy (shakes her head): No.
Slade: You promise.
Trudy: Yep.

(Slade smiles as he takes Trudy's hand)

Slade: I have to know Trudy... I have to know what's going on with us.
Trudy: I'm in love with you Slade. I think I have been in a long time!
Slade: I love you so much Trudy.
Trudy: But I don't want to rush anything... I've been hurt in the past...
Slade: Trudy... I will never hurt you!
Trudy: I know...
Slade: But we can take it as slow as you want.
Trudy: Yeah?
Slade: Yeah...

(Trudy smiles at Slade and they kiss softly)

Trudy: But can we keep in private as well...
Slade: Just between us?
Trudy: Yeah... I like it being just the two of us!
Slade: Me too!

[Slade slips his fingers between Trudy as they smile at each other before the camera fades back to show Bray jnr and Brady playing in the park.]

Scene 22

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Ebony stirring in her bed, as a knock at the door is heard and the camera pans around to show Tai-san standing at the doorway.]

Tai-san: Can I come in?

(Ebony nods and sits up in bed)

Ebony: Sure.
Tai-san: Thanks.

(Tai-san takes a seat on the edge of the bed)

Tai-san: How are you feeling?
Ebony: Better... thanks.
Tai-san: So, how's pregnancy treating you?
Ebony: Bad... but I've been worse. You?
Tai-san: Good, apart from the swollen feet!
Ebony: Oh yeah, tell me about it!

(Ebony sighs and Tai-san hands her a cup of tea)

Ebony: Thanks.

[Tai-san and Ebony start to talk about morning sickness as the camera fades on them talking and cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 23

[Camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Patsy walking down to the cells with a tray of food, she reaches Salene’s cell and knocks twice]

Patsy: (Calls out) Salene is Patsy, I’ve brought your lunch, Lex made it for you and if I’m honest it smells really nice it’s properly better then what Amber is going to cook for us but don’t tell her I said that

(As Patsy talks she pulls the master keys out of her pocket of her jacket and unlocks the door as she slowly opens the door everything turns to slow motion. Patsy is unable to speak as the tray in her hand slips from her grip and crashes onto the floor sending the food up against the walls and doors. She lets out a loud scream as she runs into the cell and drops down to Cloe’s side)

(Realising Cloe is still breathing; Patsy pushes herself up and goes to raise the alarm. She runs up the steps taking two at a time before she crashes into Slade)

Slade: Patsy?
Patsy: (finding it hard to speak) Salene has escape…Cloe is knocked out in the cell!

[Slade turns and heads back the way he has come to warn the others, Camera zooms in on Patsy before she faints and collapses against the wall. Camera cuts to the next scene]

Scene 24

[Camera pans around the now darken Chosen camp to show the guardian leading a young girl into his own hut; he opens the door and pushes her in]

Guardian: (Smirks) Tonight child you will no longer be a servant to the chosen…you will be the new supreme mother and be blessed with the third and final child of Zoot…along with his brother and sister they will rule the world in Zoot’s name!

[We don’t see the girls face as the door is closed behind him and the scene cuts to black]

Scene 25

[Camera fades in from black to pan around the darken city. Sarah Mclachlan - Fallen plays through this scene]

Heaven bent to take my hand
And lead me through the fire
Be the long awaited answer
To a long and painful fight

(Camera zooms in on the outskirts of the city to show Salene looking down at the city. Camera zooms in even closer and we see that in her arms she is holding a sleeping baby…but who is it?)

Truth be told I've tried my best
But somewhere along the way
I got caught up in all there was to offer
