Episode 18

I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house, that don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out

Scene 1

[The camera fades in from black to Amber and Bray's room, the camera pans over to Amber's side of the bed as it moves up from the foot of the bed and comes to rest on Amber's face. Amber's eyes flutter open slowly as she frowns and then stretches, reaching over for Bray as she does.]

Amber: Bray?

(The camera pans out to show Bray's side of the bed is empty, Amber frowns and sits up in bed, as the camera pans out to show the rest of the room.)

Amber: Bray?

(Amber sighs and slips out of bed, pulling on a dressing gown as she does and then looks at the clock and frowns when she sees that it is early in the morning. Amber walks out of her bedroom and heads down the corridor, she smiles as she sees Bray jnr asleep in his bed. Amber walks in and picks up the discarded teddy from the floor and places it back under the covers with Bray jnr, ruffling his hair as she does.)

Amber: Sleep well sweetie...

(Amber heads out of Bray jnr. room and along the corridor, the camera follows from behind her as she looks into the rooms where the doors are open, she reaches Danni's room and glances in, not thinking much of the figure in the bed, until her eyes spy the boots on the floor. The camera pans around to show Amber's face as the colour fades from her face.)

Amber (whispers): Bray?

[Amber walks cautiously into the room, as she reaches the edge of the bed and sees Bray fast asleep next to Danni, the pair of them sprawled all over each other. Amber gasps as she looks on horrified and then turns and runs out of the room. The camera then pans back around to show Bray and Danni before fading to black.]

Scene 2

[Camera pans around the outskirts of the city to show that a sea of tents have been set up high above the city so they are out of view. Camera zooms in to show two members of the chosen standing at the entrance of the camp. The camera follows the dirt track to show other members of the tribe setting up more tents or preparing fires to cook their meals. A large pile of weapons sit in the middle of the camp with three chosen guards. In the sea of blue tents four white tents stand in the middle as pillars of light. These four tents home the guardian and this three wives. The camera then quickly travels over the rest of the on going sea of tents before slowly fading to black and cutting to the next scene]

Scene 3

[Camera cuts back to the airport to show a distressed Trudy storming down one of the main corridors which leads to the main area where the Mallrats rooms are. She finds herself outside Axel’s room and without knocking lets herself in]

Trudy: (Calling as she enters) Axel!

(Camera pans to show a follow dressed Axel sat on the edge of his bed, his eyes are red where he has been crying and black bags cast shadows under his eyes where he hasn’t had any sleep)

Axel: (Looks up) Trudy? What’s happened?
Trudy: (Panic) Darryl! I just went to see him and his room is empty…
Axel: (looks away and whispers) Yea…he’s gone!

(A confused Trudy takes a step closer)

Trudy: Say that again
Axel: (makes eye contact) He’s gone, he’s left…you got it? He packed his bag and has gone

(Trudy stands in silence for a moment to think over what has just been said)

Trudy: (in a soft voice) I don’t need to tell you it’s your fault do I?
Axel: (Slight laugh) No you don’t
Trudy: I don’t understand Axel…I know people break up but you made Darryl face himself and made him happy to then broke him… I just don’t understand!

(Axel stands up and moves away from Trudy he rests his head on the shop window)

Axel: (Closes his eyes) Neither do I!

[Trudy lets out a sigh and takes her leave, knowing that Axel is in no mood to talk to her anymore. Camera zooms in on Axel before fading to black]

Scene 4

[The camera fades in from black to show Brooke's bar, and follows through the entrance way of the bar into the bar and up the stairs at the back and through a nearby ajar door to show two figures in bed. As the camera gets closer we can see that it is Ryan and Alice. Ryan opens his eyes and looks around, smiling when he sees Alice as he plants a kiss on her forehead. Alice stirs and wakes up face to face with Ryan.]

Ryan: Morning...

(Alice smiles softly)

Alice: Morning to you too!
Ryan: How are you today?
Alice: Not bad thanks... you?
Ryan: Feeling good!

(Ryan laughs and leans over to kiss Alice softly)

Alice: Glad to hear it... now how do you fancy some breakfast?

(Ryan smirks)

Ryan: I'd rather fancy you... again!

(Alice playfully swots Ryan)

Alice: Naughty!

[The camera fades on Alice's smiling face before fading to the next scene.]

Scene 5

[The camera fades in from the previous scene as Bray and Danni lie in bed, Bray is smiling so much that his face looks like it might crack, as Danni pulls the covers up to hide her dignity as she slips out of bed and pulls on her discarded nightie from the floor.]

Bray: What's the matter? Feeling shy all of a sudden?

(Danni laughs as she turns to face Bray)

Danni: Of course not... I just need to get up. We can't stay in bed all day.
Bray: Says who?
Danni: Me for one...

(Bray sighs and sits up)

Bray: Give me three good reasons why you can't stay here in bed with me right now?

(Danni stares at the ceiling as there is silence for a few minutes)

Bray: See... you can't think of one, can you?
Danni (laughs): I guess not...
Bray: So?
Danni: So what?
Bray: Does that mean you're getting back into bed?

(Danni laughs)

Danni: I guess it does!

[Danni slips back into bed next to Bray as he pulls the covers up and over their heads as the camera cuts to black.]

Scene 6

[Camera cuts to one of the conference rooms to show that the large oak table is covered in books of all sizes. Camera scans over the books to show that they are all medical books. As the camera reaches the end of the table we find Patsy sat in a leather chair with one of the largest books sat in front of her while she flicks through the pages]

Patsy: (Mutters) It’s gotta be in here somewhere!

(Patsy stops on one page and uses her finger to guide her as she reads over the symptoms. Realising it’s not what she is looking for she screams in frustration and slams the book shut)

Patsy: (aloud) For god sake Cloe…what the hell do you have?

[Picking up her water bottle she takes a sip before pulling the nearest book to her and starts to flick through the pages. Camera pans out on the scene before cutting to the next one]

Scene 7

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene, as Ryan slowly walks through the doorway to Brooke's bar, smiling back at Alice as he leaves and the doors swish backwards and forwards several times before they close and Ryan walks away.]

Ryan: Back to reality....

[Ryan pulls out a small pink glove from the pocket in his trousers and looks at it, and then inhales the baby scent of Kacie before he puts in back in his pocket and his head is held low as he heads in the general direction back to the airport. The camera stays in place, watching as Ryan fades into the background and the scene cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 8

[The camera cuts into the scene to show a semi happy Alice smiling, as she brushes her hair and puts a flower into the side of her hair before she smiles again and closes the small compact that she was using before placing it on the side of the dresser and leaving her room. She walks out of her room and heads towards the other bedroom in the upstairs, knocking softly as she does.]

Alice: Brooke?

(Alice pushes open the door and walks into the room)

Alice: Brooke?

(There is no answer as Alice walks into the bedroom and looks around)

Alice (frowns): Brooke... where are you?

(Alice sighs and sits on the bed as she picks up a picture on Brooke's bedside table and sighs)

Alice: Another one bites the dust, huh?

[The camera fades to black as it zooms in on the picture that Alice is holding before fading to black.]

Scene 9

[Camera fades in from black to show Cloe lying in her bed; she is covered in sweat and is tossing and turning in her sleep, as simple words escape through her lips. Camera pans out to show that Patsy is hovering over her with her arms folded, she looks on helplessly as her friend’s condition worsens]

Patsy: (Whispers) I love you Cloe!

(Patsy turns on her and heads out of the room, she finds the nearest empty bench and lets her tired body drop into. After staring into space for a couple of seconds, Patsy is unable to stop the tears falling from her eyes. Patsy then covers her mouth with one of her hands as she starts to sob.)

(Camera pans out to show Jack walking down the corridor, he spots Patsy and quickly rushes to her side, wrapping his arms around her)

Jack: Patsy it’s ok…we will find a cure for her!
Patsy: (Looks up at Jack) Will you help me?
Jack: (Nods) Anything
Patsy: Help me go through the medical book’s. they don’t make any sense to me?

(Jack stands up and holds out his hand for Patsy to take)

Jack: (Smiles) We better get started then!

(Taking his hand, Patsy lets him help her up before she throws her arms around him and pulls him into a hug)

Patsy: (Whispers) Thank you Jack!

[Jack nods and the two friends set off to the conference room. Camera follows them walk off before it fades out]

Scene 10

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Amber wandering through the city, her eyes are red and swollen from crying and her hair is a mess as she falls against a nearby building and slumps to the floor. The camera pans around to behind Amber as the sound of footsteps can be heard off screen. As the footsteps come to stop in front of Amber, the camera pans up to show Ebony standing in front of Amber.]

Ebony: Well, well... what do we have here?

(Amber glances up at Ebony)

Amber: Get lost...
Ebony (laughs): Is poor little Amber upset... ah...
Amber: Leave me alone...
Ebony: Ah... poor Amber... has lover boy upset you!?

(Amber pushes herself up and past Ebony as she starts walking off, the tears still falling down her face. Ebony walks to catch up with Amber)

Ebony: I never did understand what a man like Bray saw in a wimp like you. All needy and controlling, it's not his type at all.
Amber: Get lost!
Ebony: Don't think so... not when I know how much I'm bugging you!

(Amber stops and stares at Ebony, barely managing a glare as she does)

Amber: I'd hit you... but I don't hit pregnant women!
Ebony: Well don't let that stop you!
Amber (sighs): You're welcome to him Ebony... whatever you want you can just have!
Ebony (confused): Huh?
Amber: Bray and me! We're over!

[Amber runs from the street, her sobs echoing through the empty buildings as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black to show Dreamer sat on a stall at Alice’s bar a drink is rested on the table in front of her. She gently taps her fingers on the bar while staring into space. Off screen we hear a bar stall being pulled out and then someone sitting down next to her]

Apollo: (Off screen) Do you do this often?
Dreamer: (Rolls her eyes) What you talking about?

(Camera pans out to show a smug looking Apollo start next to the Freedom Fighters leader)

Apollo: I was asking if you did this often, you know sit at a bar all on your own!
Dreamer: (Nods) Yea, it’s peaceful…(turns to Apollo) Most of the time that is
Apollo: Come on you must admit….you love my company
Dreamer: (Bites her bottom) that’s not how I would put it
Apollo: (Smiles and nudges her in the side) You love it really! You need a man in your life Dreamer, someone who can take care of you, charming, good looks, great personality, perfect hair…
Dreamer: (Cuts in) Well when you meet him send him my way!
Apollo: (Sighs) Fine whatever!

(Apollo lets his head drop onto the bar and the two sit in silence, Dreamer studies him for awhile before shaking her head)

Dreamer: Fine we can go on one date

(Apollo suddenly sits bolt right up with a huge smile)

Dreamer: (Holds a finger up) But! There is one condition
Apollo: (shakes his head) anything
Dreamer: (Smirks) I fancy some chocolate…if you want to go on a date, you have to get me a bar of chocolate
Apollo: (covers his face with his hands) OH Man!

[Camera pans out before cutting to black]

Scene 12

[Camera pans back in to show the bar now empty. Alice is standing behind the bar and is cleaning down one of the sides. The sound of the door opening causes the camera to pan out]

Alice: (doesn’t look up) sorry we’re shut
Ellie: (Smirks) Well I better go then!
Alice: (Looks up and smiles) Ellie!

(Alice rushes around the bar and pulls her sister into a tight embrace neither girl wants to pull away. Camera pans in and out to show that the two girls are now sat in a booth with drinks in front of them)

Ellie: (staring at her sister) You seem different somehow!
Alice: (nods) Maybe it’s cause I’m happy…the happiest I’ve been in a long time!
Ellie: Yea about that…I’m sorry about the way I acted…I just didn’t want to loss you all over again!
Alice: (Takes her sisters hand) That’s not going to happening…I’m here to stay
Ellie: I know that now!

[Camera pans out as the sisters continue to talk before fading to black]

Scene 13

[Enola walks into her room, her hands over May's eyes as she directs May towards the empty seat at the dinner table in the middle of the room. May stumbles a couple of times before she reaches the seat and sits down.]

May: Is this really necessary Enola?

(Enola sighs and rolls her eyes)

Enola: Yes May... it is, when I said that it was a surprise... I meant it...
May: Okay... well can I open my eyes yet?

(Enola sighs and lights the candle in the middle of the table)

Enola: Okay... now you can.

(May opens her eyes and blinks a couple of times, focusing to the dim lighting in the room as she sees the candle and the meal that Enola has prepared and she smiles, as a tear runs down the side of her face.)

Enola: What? Did I do something wrong?

(May shakes her head as she wipes away the tear)

May: No... you did everything right. I just... just can't remember the last time I had such a nice surprise.
Enola: Oh... good. I thought I'd done something wrong.
May (shakes her head): Not at all. Thank you...

(May reaches for Enola's hand and squeezes it softly)

May: ...thank you for everything.
Enola (softly): You're welcome!

(Enola stares at May through the candlelight and the camera focuses on her face)

Enola: Now... let's eat before it gets cold!

[May laughs as the two of them begin their dinner and the camera then cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 14

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Bray jnr sitting in his room crying... he has a bleeding knee and his eyes are red and sore. Brady comes running into the bedroom, closely followed by Trudy, she drops to her knees and reaches for a tissue to wipe away his tears.]

Trudy: Sweetie... what's wrong?

(Bray jnr continues to cry)

Bray jnr: I hurt my knee...
Brady: We were playing and he fell over!
Bray jnr: I want my mummy!

(Trudy frowns and sighs)

Trudy: Bray jnr I can't find your mummy!
Bray jnr: I want my daddy!
Trudy: I don't know where your daddy is... but auntie Trudy's here...

(Trudy sits on the bed and scoops Bray jnr into her arms)

Trudy: Let me make it better!

[Trudy washes and dresses Bray jar's graze as his sobs subside and she frowns, wondering where Bray and Amber are... and why they aren't there to look after their son.]

Scene 15

[Camera cuts to another part of the airport where laughter fills the air. The camera pans around to show Lottie sat on the floor crossed legged with Xavier on her lap and a selection of soft toys in front of them. Lottie picks them up one at a time and lets Xavier play with them.]

(Xavier giggles as he plays with a squeaky toy. Lottie can’t help but laugh with her son)

Lottie: You like playing with mummy don’t you?
Xavier: (Struggles) Mu…mmer!

(Lottie cries in excitement as she turns her son to face her)

Lottie: You clever little boy!

(Xavier doesn’t say anymore but smiles and giggles at his mum’s sudden excitement)

Lottie: You said mummy!

[Tears roll down Lottie’s face as she pulls her son into a hug. The camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 16

[Camera fades in from black to show Cass sat in her room by herself while Jake sleeps in his cot. She is sat on the edge of her bed flicking through an old magazine while humming a tune to herself]

(She puts the magazine down on her bed and stands up crossing the room to Jake’s cot, she gently runs one of her hands over his face and smiles down at him)

Cass: (Whispers) Mummy loves her special boy very much!

[Cass goes back to the bed and starts to fold Ryan’s clothes, she hasn’t notice that he hasn’t been around for the past couple of days. Camera zooms in on Cass before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 17

[The camera cuts in as Alice walks down behind the bar, picking up used glasses as she does. Chatter from the punters in the bar can be heard as well as laughter and sound of a dog barking. Alice stops in front of a young boy who is staring into a half empty pint.]

Alice: Penny for your thoughts...

(The guy doesn't hear Alice and continues to stare)

Alice: Hello!

(The guy looks up and sees Alice smiling at him and he smiles softly in return)

Alice: Oh... you do speak English!
Jared (speaks with an Irish accent): That I do...
Alice: Ah... but not a local...
Jared (laughs): Yep... I'm a long way from home...
Alice: Do you have a name?
Jared: It's Jared... and who is asking?
Alice: I'm Alice... (offers her hand) ...nice to meet you!

(Jared and Alice shake hands, before she pours a new pint and gives it to Jared)

Alice: So... what are you doing in these parts?
Jared: Just hanging...
Alice: Uh-huh...
Jared: And you... you run this place on your own?
Alice (nods): Well today at least I am... usually I'm just the hired help!
Jared (frowns): But not today?
Alice (shakes her head): Today's a little different... Brooke, the girl who's bar it is... she's gone.
Jared: Gone?
Alice: Yeah... just gone. No word of anywhere she might have been...

(Jared mumbles something under her breathe)

Alice: Speak up....
Jared: I said... it's not the first I've heard of people mysteriously disappearing... there's word on the streets that people are just disappearing. Some say a new tribe is on the horizon, that a new era is coming!

(Alice raises an eyebrow)

Alice: Just what we need... a new bunch of loonies who think they can take over. It's like deja vu!

[The camera pans to Jared as he nods and the camera then fades to black.]

Scene 18

[The camera fades in from black to show that night is starting to fall over the city. The camera then zooms in on Gel’s private jet before cutting inside to show that Gel and Phoenix are cuddled up on one of the sofa’s just enjoying each others company. The pair is suddenly interrupted when an uninvited Axel walks into the sitting area and let’s himself drop into the space next to Gel]

(Gel and Phoenix exchange looks before Gel turns to her friend)

Gel: Let me guess this is about Darryl!
Axel: (Nods) I never meant for him to leave…that’s the last thing I ever wanted to happen cause at the end of the day he still means the world to me

(Gel turns all her attention on Axel and wraps her arms around her best friend)

Gel: I understand…but you also got to understand that for Darryl it was just to hard for him to stay here with you living here as well…you never know give it a couple of days or weeks he might deicide to come home…you just got to give it time.
Axel: but what if he doesn’t?
Gel: (Shrugs her shoulders) Then you move on…which is what you wanted to do anyway…wasn’t it?

(Axel shrugs his shoulders and rests his head on Gel’s shoulder. Gel tilts her head and gives Phoenix an apologetic half smile, he just nods his head in understanding and smiles back at her)

Axel: you don’t mind me being here do you? I just don’t want to be on my own right now
Gel: NO it’s fine, spend as much time here as you need…what are friends for?

[Axel smiles at her and starts to talk more about Darryl leaving. The camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 19

[Ebony walks along the street, still smiling from her earlier encounter with Amber, laughing at the memory as she does. Ebony is laughing so much that she almost knocks into a person walking the other way on the street. Ready for a battle Ebony side steps the person ready to talk to them about being blind when she sees their clothes.]

Ebony: What?

(The person that Ebony ran into looks up from gaze on the floor. They are wearing a hood and a robe that is long, very similar to the Chosen robes and Ebony looks worried as the colour drains from her face.)

Ebony: No....

(Ebony looks around and the camera moves fast, the image of the robed figure blurring as she screams and shakes her head before she takes off in a run, moving as fast as she can in her advanced pregnancy state.)

Ebony (yelling): DREAMER!

(Ebony runs along the streets, heading for the river side as she reaches the Freedom Fighter's warehouse and bursts through the door)

Ebony: DREAMER!

(Dreamer comes running from her office and meets Ebony in the middle of the meeting room.)

Dreamer: Ebony? What is it?
Ebony (scared): They're... they're back!
Dreamer: Who is Ebony?

(Ebony looks very white)

Ebony: THEY ARE!

[Ebony starts to shake as the camera pans from Dreamer's face to Ebony's and then the camera fades to black.]

Scene 20

[The camera fades in from black, as Bray lays in bed staring at the ceiling and humming to himself, as the camera then pans to show Trudy standing in the doorway. She walks in and stands in front of Bray with her hands on her hips/]

Trudy: Bray!

(Bray continues to day dream)

Trudy (yells): Bray!
Bray (frowns): What?
Trudy: Have you seen Amber?

(Bray sits up in bed and shakes his head)

Bray: No... why?
Trudy: Because no one's seen her all day Bray... I'm worried.

(Bray shrugs)

Bray: She'll turn up... she always does!
Trudy: BRAY! She could he missing or hurt!
Bray: So? What do you want me to do?
Trudy: Give a shit...
Bray: I do...
Trudy: Could have fooled me...

(Trudy turns on her heel ready to leave)

Trudy: And why you're at it... take care of your son... he needed you early and you weren't there!
Bray: Don't you dare!
Trudy: What?
Bray: Give me parenting advice!
Trudy: GET OVER YOURSELF BRAY!

[Trudy storms out and slams the door, causing the mirror on the wall to shake as the camera shows Bray slump back down on the bed and resume daydreaming before fading to black.]

Scene 21

[Camera pans around the airport lobby to show that Apollo has just walked in, he looks around the room and studies the titles of each shop as he shakes his head, as he walks he isn’t looking where he is going and ends up bumping into someone. As the camera pans out we realise that it is KC]

Kc: (raises an eyebrow) You alright Apollo
Apollo: (to himself) Chocolate!
Kc: (confused) You what?
Apollo: (In a matter of life or death) I need chocolate
Kc: (hold up his hands) I don’t have any…you can search me…I haven’t seen chocolate since the early days, I didn’t know you can get it!
Apollo: (Crushed) then it’s all over!

(Apollo lets himself drop onto the nearest bench defeat written on his face. KC sits next to the young guy totally confused with what is going on)

KC: What is the matter Apollo?
Apollo: (really fast) Dreamer said she would let me take her out on a date if I got her some chocolate but I cant find some anywhere and I would love to take Dreamer out as she is the most hottest…
KC: (laughs) Ok I get the picture…but if she means so much to you then why are you giving up so easy…come on Apollo you gotta fight for what you want!

(Apollo thinks this over for a second before standing up)

Apollo: Your right….thanks KC

(Before KC has a chance to reply, Apollo has sprinted of down the corridor)

KC: (Smiles) don’t mention it

[Camera zooms in on KC before fading to black]

Scene 22

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Amber, still in a state as the camera pans around to show the landscape in front of Amber. There are tents of multicolours in front of her, but Amber doesn't see as the hot tears blind her and she falls to her knees.]

Amber: Why Bray! WHY!

(Amber screams out as she falls onto her hands and she takes a deep breath, pulling in air deep into her lungs.)

Amber: You are an asshole... and I swear... I will get my revenge if it's the last thing I ever do!

(Amber looks up, her eyes clouding over as she swallows her tears and pulls herself up, standing back up as she looks at the tents and frowns)

Amber: What the....?

[Amber glances at the tents and frowns in confusion as the camera zooms to the tents, and to the burning 'Z' in the middle of the camp before fading to black.]

Scene 23

[Camera fades in from black to show Enola and May sat on a sofa close together both sipping wine from their glasses]

May: (Continued) And that was pretty much when you turned up…nothing exciting really
Enola: (Laughs) Not exciting…if I didn’t know better I would say you Mallrats had lives like those on soap operas
May: God I used to love those!
Enola: Me to…you could never top a story like the girl who got pregnant by her sisters ex boyfriend who is now in prison for burning down the local pub!
May: (raises an eyebrow) What soap operas did you used to watch?
Enola: (Laughs) Only the best of course!

(The two girls laugh and May has to wipe away tears of laughter from her eyes for the first time in ages)

May: So come on, tell me a bit about yourself
Enola: (Shrugs) Not much to say really…when the virus hit I was pretty much on my own…I had lost contact with my family, my cousins and everyone who meant anything to me, so like most kids I joined a powerful tribe but things didn’t seem right so I moved on and it kind of repeated it self no matter what tribe I joined or how many friends I made something was missing nothing felt right until I joined the Trojans but even then something was still missing….and then I come here and for the first time everything seems perfect…

(Enola closes the gap between herself and May and places her hand on May’s knee as she moves in for the kiss. May quickly jumps up spilling her wine everywhere and without a second look she takes of through the door leaving Enola on her own)

Enola: (Sighs) Well that didn’t work!

[Enola covers her face with her hands as she thinks over the nights events, as the camera pans our and fades to black]

Scene 24

[Camera fades in from black to show Alice locking the bar’s door and crossing the room to one of the booths, she looks down on someone and shakes her head. Camera pans around to show a drunken Darryl with his head rested on the table and his bottle of beer tilt to the side in one of his hands with the liquid running over his fingers]

Alice: Oh Darryl…this isn’t like you!
Darryl: (Tears in his eyes) He left me….Alice….he broke my heart!

(Alice slides in next to him and pulls his smaller frame against her as his tears turn into sobs. His whole body shakes as he becomes more and more upset. Alice gently rocks him from side to side whispering words of comfort to him.)

Alice: Come on Darryl let’s get you to bed?
Darryl: (Confused) Where?
Alice: Here…you can stay in Brooke’s room for tonight and in the morning we can have a good old chat
Darryl: (Tries to smile) I would like that!

[Camera pans out as Alice tries to help a drunken Darryl up from the seat and then up the stairs. Camera follows them for a while before fading out to black]

Scene 25

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Amber standing on the outside of the Chosen camp, the camera fading from the burning 'Z' to show several Chosen members wearing green robes, one of them raises his spear and points at Amber, mumbling something incoherently before he starts running towards Amber and several of the other's do.]

Amber: Oh shit!

(Amber turns on her heel, she's unsure of where she is because of the grief that led her to her current location as she looks around trying to find a way to get away from the Chosen. Spying what looks like a path, Amber heads down it running towards the camp before the path winds round and leads down what looks like a cliff.)

(Meanwhile the camera pans back around to the Chosen in the green robes that are running towards Amber, they have gained on her and are not far behind.)

(The camera pans back to Amber, to show her looking over her shoulder at the Chosen running towards her. Out of the corner of the camera we see several members of the Chosen walking up the cliff path, as one of them yells out.)

Chosen 1: Hey!

(Amber, not seeing the group walking up towards her, screams and loses her footing, tumbling to her feet as she rolls over the edge of the cliff. The camera pans in slow motion as Amber falls down the cliff and bumps her head and legs before she crashes into a heap at the bottom. The camera pans back up to show the Chosen, as they nod in approval before they leave the site)

[The camera pans back around to Amber's twisted and motionless figure lying on the floor of the cliff before the end credits roll in.]
