Scene 1

[The camera fades in from black, and moves from the sunrise that can be seen out of the bedroom window, round till it reaches Amber lying in bed. She is lying still in bed, staring at the ceiling when there is a knock at the door.]

Trudy (from outside the door): Amber?

(No response is heard from inside the room, as Trudy knocks again. The camera pans around to show Trudy on the other side of the door.)

Trudy: Amber... can I come in?

[The camera stays on Trudy for several minutes more as she sighs and walks away from the door. The camera then pans back around to show Amber lying in bed as tears run down her face and her body shakes from the sobs, before fading to black.]

Scene 2

[May opens her eyes as she glances around, the camera follows her eyeline as she looks over her side to those in bed with her and sees that Enola is in her bed. Looking around, May frowns and realises that she's in Enola's bedroom, looking worried she sighs and tries to slip out of bed.]

(Enola moves and May freezes, careful not wake the younger girl. She stays still until Enola has stopped moving.)

(May grabs her trousers and top and quickly slips them on before she picks up her shoes and tiptoes out of the room. She looks over her shoulder as she leaves and smiles at Enola.)

[As the camera pans around to show May walking from Enola's room, the camera pans back to Enola and we see that she is now away, her eyes open, watching May leave. The camera then cuts to black.]

Scene 3

[Camera cuts to the chosen camp to show a hooded figure walking to the centre tent, as he enters he bows and removes his hood to reveal that he is Caleb. The guardian steps out of the shadows and smiles at the younger man]

Guardian: My old friend…how is your mission going?
Caleb: (Smiles) Better then I excepted…the tribe has so much going on they won’t know what hit them when we attack
Guardian: We won’t be attacking just yet my friend…I have a very important mission for you first, it will make the down fall of the Mallrats much quicker…
Caleb: (Nods in agreement) Anything my guardian….has Zoot spoken to you lately?
Guardian: Of course he has and he has told me that he wants the imposter out of the way, he believes for the Mallrats to fall their future leader needs to be out of the way?
Caleb: (Shocked) You want me to kill….
Guardian: (Raises an eyebrow) Is that a problem?
Caleb: No of course not….Zoot’s word is law I will ensure it will be done!
Guardian: (Demands) By tonight!
Caleb: Zoot be praised!
Guardian: (Smiles) and to his chosen victory!

[Caleb pulls his hood back up and leaves the Guardian’s tent, the camera zooms in on the Guardian’s twisted face before fading to black]

Scene 4

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Bray in the cafe, making some coffee, he pours the boiling water into the cup and then throws in against the wall, yelling in frustration.]

Danni: Ah, now who's going to clear that up?

(Bray looks up from where he is standing)

Bray: Want do you want?
Danni: Like I said before... you.

(Bray rolls his eyes)

Bray: I thought I made myself clear last time we spoke Danni? I'm not interested. It was a mistake, the biggest mistake of my life...

(Danni's eyes narrow as she glares at Bray)

Bray: I'll tell you once more... nicely. Me and you, we're over! Now stay the f**k away from me and my family!

[Bray leaves the cafe, turning to glare at Danni over his shoulder as he does, the camera then fading to black.]

Scene 5

[Camera focuses on a piece of paper, the image fuzzy as the camera zooms out to show that the piece of paper has a chart on and as the camera zooms out further we can see that Ellie is standing in front of a full length mirror. ]

Ellie: Another pound... doing well.

(The camera pans to the piece of paper as Ellie marks in down and we can see that it is a weight chart and that Ellie has lost a lot of weight.)

[Ellie shivers as she pulls on a large jumper and the camera pans to her gaunt looking face before fading to black.]

Scene 6

[Camera fades in from black to show Apollo walking towards the freedom fighters base, as he reaches the door we see that for the first time there are no guards. He looks around the courtyard to see a few small groups of freedom fighters huddled together talking in small voices.]

(Apollo enters and makes his way through the main lobby when he stops Dreamer storming down towards her)

Apollo: (Smiles) Hey
Dreamer: (snaps) Not now!

(Apollo grabs her by the arms to stop her in her tracks)

Apollo: (Jokes) where’s the fire!
Dreamer: (not impressed) Here, that’s where the bloody fire is!
Apollo: Dreamer?

(Dreamer lets out a sigh before dropping into an armchair and Apollo copies her)

Dreamer: Ever since the news that the Chosen are back the tribe has been on edge and as you can see some feel its time to move on?
Apollo: You mean they’ve walked out on their tribe?
Dreamer: Pretty much…but to be honest I can’t blame them, the Chosen are bad news!

(Apollo nods as he reaches into back pocket and pulls out the chocolate bar which he hands over to Dreamer. Dreamer can’t help but smile)

Apollo: (smiles back) I knew this would cheer you up
Dreamer: Thank you!

[Camera pans out as the two carry on talking before cutting to the next scene.]

Scene 7

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Danni sitting in front of her mirror, her eyes cloud over as she glances at her daughter, Rain, sitting on her bed playing with her dolls. ]

Danni (whispers): Bray... you're a bastard. I know... I know what you did to me, to Danni. What you left me with!

(Danni glances over her shoulder at Rain)

Danni: Left me with the child of a bastard! Well I'm going to change that... change everything!

[Danni picks up the eyeline and starts to paint her eyes dark, to match the evil gaze in her eyes as the camera zooms to Rain and then fades to black.]

Scene 8

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show May sitting in the cafe, staring into space. As she sits, Enola approaches from behind and places her hands over May's eyes.]

Enola: Guess who?

(May prises Enola's hands off her eyes and turns around to face her)

May: Hi
Enola: Hi

(Enola takes a seat and sits down next to May, the pair of them stare at each other for a while before May speaks)

May: Awkward, huh?
Enola (nods): Yeah.
May: We should probably...
Enola: ...talk about last night?

(May nods)

May: Yeah... I just wanted to say. I'm sorry that I got up and left without a word this morning.
Enola: It's okay... I understand.
May (frowns): How can you, when I don't even understand myself?

(Enola laughs nervously)

Enola: Okay... the truth is, I'm falling for you May. I think I may even love you, and I'm happy to wait. I'm happy for whatever part of your heart you can give me, no matter how small. (puts her hand on top of May's), okay?
May (nods): Yes... that's more than okay. Thank you.
Enola: For what?
May: For being so understanding.

[Enola smiles warmly at May as the two girls hug and the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 9

[The camera pans in, Amber is lying in her bed, her eyes still damp from the amount of crying she has been doing as the sound of a creaking floorboard causes her to turn her head towards the door, her sad face creasing into a frown when she looks up and sees who has entered the room.]

Amber: What do you want?

(The camera pans around and shows that the person is Bray.)

Bray: To talk.
Amber: Well I don't. So go away!
Bray (shakes her head): No. I've come here to say what I need to say and then I'll go!
Amber: Get out! I'm not interested in anything you have to say!
Bray: Amber! I love you. Please don't be like this!
Amber: Like what? You cheated on me!
Bray: But it's you I love Amber.. it was one mistake, one stupid mistake!

(Amber shakes her head and puts her hands to her ears)

Amber: I don't want to hear it! Get out!
Bray: No!
Amber (screams): GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!

(Bray shakes his head)

Amber (screams): GET OUT!!!!!!

[Bray sighs and relents as he turns on his heel and leaves Amber, she bursts into tears and pulls a pillow over her head to try and muffle the sobs before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 10

[The camera cuts in to show some of the Mallrats gathered for lunch in the cafe, Tai-san is walking across the floor with two cups of coffee, one for her and other for Jack when she drops the cups on the floor. Jack, looks up from his lunch.]

Jack: Tai-san?

(Tai-san doesn't reply as she goes white and then tries to stop herself from falling over as she grabs a nearby chair. Trudy and Patsy who are also in the cafe see Tai-san nearly fall, as Patsy reaches her)

Patsy: What is it? What's wrong?

(Tai-san looks at the others)

Tai-san: Find Lex... please.
Trudy (nods): Of course. What's wrong?

(Tai-san looks at the floor)

Tai-san: My water just broke!
Patsy / Trudy: Oh!
Jack: Huh?
Trudy: The baby's coming...

[Jack looks confused and then nods as he runs out of the cafe, Trudy and Patsy help Tai-san to a nearby chair as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black to show Darryl and Alice in the bar basement. Darryl is sat on the stone steps while Alice is connecting a new Beer Barrel onto the tap. She is in the middle of saying something as the camera zooms in]

Alice: (Continued) He has two kids for god’s sake, I can’t believe I even let myself get into that situation; I am such a home wrecker!
Darryl: It properly won’t help but I don’t think there was much of a home for you to wreck!
Alice: No its makes it even worse…I like Cass she is the most loveliest girl anyone could met, but she has had some shit thrown at her and I go along and sleep with her partner…god I am so disgusting.
Darryl: Don’t be silly Alice, you’ve made a mistake everyone makes mistakes its all part of growing up and if you haven’t forgotten we are still growing and with no one to guide us we’re making bigger mistakes!
Alice: (Raises an eyebrow) Ok then….

(The two laugh at Darryl’s little speech before Alice takes a seat next to him)

Alice: I’m glad you’ve come here Darryl….I think you should stay…don’t leave the city just because of him!
Darryl: (Nods) I don’t think I want to leave anymore…I kind of like it here!
Alice: (Smiles) Good!

[The two friends share an embrace as the camera fades to black]

Scene 12

[The Camera slowly fades in from black to show one part of the Airport we next see Trudy and May rushing past the camera towards Tai-San’s room. In the background we can see Cloe lying in her bed, one of her arms is hanging over the edge of the bed.]

(Patsy comes rushing past the room with a bowl of fresh water as she goes past she looks in an her smile suddenly fades causing her to stop)

Patsy: (whispers) Cloe?

(Patsy places the bowl of water onto the floor and slowly walks into Cloe’s room as she does this Nicole Kidman - One Day I'll Fly Away starts to play in the background)

Patsy: (in a small voice) Cloe?

I follow the night
Can't stand the light
When will I begin to live again

(Patsy reaches Cloe’s side and doesn’t need to check her friends pulse to know that she is no longer with us. Tears start to roll down Patsy’s check as she takes Cloe’s hand into her own and kisses it)

One day I'll fly away
Leave all this to yesterday

When will love be through with me
Why live life from dream to dream
And dread the day when dreaming ends

(Flash backs show Cloe through the years, flash backs which stand out are Patsy applying make up on Cloe and the girls breaking into laughter, another is them fighting against tribe circles to final flash back of the two girls hugging)

(Patsy climbs onto the bed and lifts Cloe’s lifeless body into a tight embrace, as she holds Cloe against her; Patsy starts to sob harder until they are both shaking)

[As the camera starts to pan out a final shot of Cloe smiling fills the screen before slowly fading to black]

Scene 13

[Camera fades in from black to show Darryl behind the bar working with Alice to get it up and running for the up coming night. The door is pushed open and Jared walks in shooting Darryl a smile as he walks towards the bar]

Darryl: (Shakes his head) We’re not open yet!
Jared: Tis not gunna stop ya serving me a drink now is it?

(Darryl lets out a small laugh as he turns to one of the mini fridges and pulls out a bottle of beer and hands it over to Jared)

Darryl: On the house but don’t tell anyone
Jared: (Winks) It will be our dirty little secret
Darryl: (Leans closer) I wouldn’t go that far!
Jared: I would…

(Alice looks over the bar and shakes her head with a small smile)

Alice: (Shouts) Are you going to help or flirt all night Darryl?
Darryl: (going red) I’m not flirting?
Jared: (leans over the bar and whispers into Darryl’s ear) That’s a shame!

[Darryl goes even redder making both Alice and Jared laugh before he quickly leaves the bar and slips upstairs. Jared is unable to take his eyes of Darryl as the other teen goes upstairs. Camera zooms in on Jared before fading into the next scene]

Scene 14

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Trudy once again walking down the corridor with Bray jnr on her hip, her face is stormy and she is holding a piece of paper in her hand as she does. When she reaches the meeting room and spies Bray she storms in, sending the door flying against the wall.]

Trudy: BRAY!
Bray (frowns): Trudy... what's wrong?
Trudy: I told you once before... you're the one who needs to look after your son. I do not appreciate you leaving your son, complete with a note in my room.
Bray: Yeah, well I'm busy!
Trudy: Huh! So am I... I'm trying to watch Brady, look after Amber and helping Tai-san whilst she has her baby, I don't have any time for your troubles...

(Bray rolls his eyes and goes back to what he's doing)

Trudy: BRAY!

(Trudy puts Bray jnr into Bray's arms)

Trudy: Do this again and there will be consequences... don't push me. (Kisses Bray jnr on the head) Bye sweetie.

(Trudy storms out of the room, slamming the door closed as she leaves.)

[Bray looks at his son, he shrugs and then puts his hands in his head and starts to cry as Bray jnr wraps his arms around his father and kisses his head, the camera pans to then before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 15

[Camera fades in from black to show Apollo and Dreamer walking through the field at the back of the Freedom Fighters base, while in the distance other members of the tribe and training with sticks]

Dreamer: I’m worried…me Dreamer, worried that if the Chosen are back then I’m not going to have a big enough tribe to fight back and we can’t afford to the lose the city after all we lost in the battle against the Krul!
Apollo: (shakes his head) You won’t be alone, the Mallrats will be at your side fighting for the city!
Dreamer: As much as I used to believe that your tribe has the kids to think about, if you had any common sense you would get the whole tribe out of the city…
Apollo: (Raises an eyebrow) Have you not met the Mallrats yet? The great Lex? The geniuses Jack? Then there is KC, Ryan Slade and Phoenix do I need to go on?
Dreamer: Ok…Ok I get your point! But if the Chosen are back then we need to be prepared as things will get ugly!

[Apollo nods in agreement as the two now friends walk past the camera and out of sight. The camera fades to the next scene]

Scene 16

[Camera fades in from black to show that Brooke’s bar is now full of people while Alice and Darryl work behind the bar. Jared sits at the edge of the bar watching the two running around like headless chickens]

(Jared pushes himself up and steps behind the bar, where he addresses the nearest girl)

Jared: What will it be love?

(Darryl looks over at him with a raised eyebrow before going over to him)

Darryl: What you doing?
Jared: Giving a helping hand what it look like? Plus me old 'rents used to run a pub back home!

(Jared gives Darryl a smile before sliding past him ensuring his hand touches the other guy’s lower back as he collects the girls order)

Alice: (snaps) Darryl get back to work!
Darryl: Sorry Alice!

[The three continue to work behind the bar every now and then Darryl and Jared lock eye contact and can’t help but smile at each other; this doesn’t go unnoticed by Alice as she shakes her head and ruffles her hair. Camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 17

[Camera fades in from black to show Ebony sat on her own in her bedroom crossed legged on her bed, staring at her self in the mirror. Camera lowers and we see she is playing with a knife in her hands]

(Pink’s – One foot wrong starts up)

Am I sweating
Or are these tears on my face?
Should I be hungry?
I can't remember the last time that I ate
Call someone, I need a friend to talk me down

(Ebony turns her attention to the knife she twists it between her hands as she thinks back other the past years images of Zoot and Conrad flash in front of her)

But one foot wrong and I'm gonna fall

(Sudden movement causes Ebony look up and she suddenly goes as white as a sheet as a hooded figure walks past her window. Holding the knife close to her chest she climbs of her bed)

All the lights are on but I'm in the dark
Who's gonna find me? Who's gonna find me?
Just one foot wrong
You'll have to love me when I'm gone

[Ebony leaves her room holding the knife against her side as she leaves the base she sees the hooded figure enter an empty building across the road. Ebony shakes her head before following them. Camera fades out to black]

Scene 18

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Tai-san, Trudy, Lottie and Ellie in the room as Tai-san lays on the bed, Trudy is dampening her brow as Lottie holds her other hand.]

Trudy: Almost time to push Tai-san... just a little while more!

(Tai-san groans as Lex walks in, he sees all of the women and frowns)

Lex: What's going on?
Tai-san (in between breaths): I'm... having... your... baby... idiot!
Lex: What now?
Tai-san: YES!

(Lottie motions for Lex to join her at Tai-san's side and passes over Tai-san's hand to Lex)

Lottie: She's got a tough grip!
Lex: Yeah... I know...

(Trudy moves from Tai-san's brow to the end of the bed, and looks up)

Trudy: Ready?

(Tai-san nods)

Trudy: Okay... now push!

(Tai-san groans as she bears down and starts to push)

Lex: Come on baby! You can do it!
Trudy: Okay... I can see the head! Keep pushing!

(Tai-san groans and grasps hold of Lex's hand turning it white)

Tai-san: You... this is... your fault!
Trudy: Okay... the shoulders!
Tai-san: Ow!

(Lex grabs hold of Tai-san's hand and nods)

Lex: I love you!
Tai-san: I hate you!

(Tai-san groans again... this time screaming in pain)

Trudy: Okay... one more push!
Ellie: Come on....
Lex: One more push and we can meet our baby!

(Tai-san pants deeply and pushes, screaming as the baby is delivered. The sound of a baby screaming fills the air.)

Trudy: Well done...
Lex: Oh, I love you!
Trudy: It's a boy!
Tai-san (weakly): A boy?
Trudy (nods): A boy!

(Trudy holds up the baby for the new parents to see, before Lottie hands her a towel and she wraps the baby up, before passing him to Tai-san)

Tai-san: Our son...
Lex (with love): We have a son...
Tai-san: I love you... both of you!

[The camera pans to the new family, to their happy smiling faces as Lex kisses Tai-san's head and then the camera pans to the new baby boy and fades to black.]

Scene 19

[Camera fades in from black to show a buzzing May entering her room an amused looking Enola is sitting on May’s bed]

Enola: Everything ok?
May: (Smiles) It’s a boy!
Enola: (confused) Huh?
May: The baby…Lex and Tai-San have a baby boy!
Enola: (Jumps up) Oh wow!

(in the excitement the girls jump into each others open arms and hug, as May starts to pull away Enola doesn’t loosen her grip causing them to stare into each other’s eyes. May lifts up one of her hands and moves a strand of hair out of Enola’s face as she smiles at her)

(Enola closes the gap and the girls share their first real kiss with each other.)

[Camera pans around as the kiss deepens before fading to black]

Scene 20

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Tai-san sleeping in her room, panning out of the doorway, and down the corridor to the outside of the airport, where Lex is sitting on the floor. His hands are running through his hair as we hear the sounds of sobs.]

(Lex looks up from the floor where his gaze had been focused and looks up at the sky)

Lex: Thank you. Thank you for delivering my son safely!

(The camera pans up to show Ryan standing behind Lex, as he puts a hand on his friends shoulder)

Ryan: Congratulations mate.
Lex (smiles): Thanks.

(Ryan takes a seat next to Lex)

Lex: You know... after everything that happened with Zandra and the baby, when I think that my child would now be almost 5 years old. And now that I finally have a child. I can't help but think that I'm the luckiest guy alive!
Ryan (nods): Fatherhood's a wonderful thing.
Lex (frowns): Oh god Ryan. I'm so sorry.
Ryan (shakes his head): Don't be... please. Enjoy your son, love him with your whole being. You never know... when...

[Ryan starts to sob, and the two friends embrace. One crying for the loss of a child and one of them for the birth of a new child, before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 21

[Camera fades in from black to show that most of the Mallrats have gathered in the canteen to celebrate the birth of their newest member. Camera pans around as KC enters the room with a sombre look on his face. As he moves further into the room he bites on his bottom lip to stop himself from crying]

May: (confused) KC?

(KC shakes his head at her as he moves further into the room and climbs onto a table)

KC: (Finding it hard to speak) Can I have everyone’s attention please!

(No one hears him apart from May)

May: (Shouts) OI shut it!

(Everyone turns to May who then points to KC)

KC: Ummm
Bray: What is it KC?
KC; (wipes his eyes on his sleeve) It’s Cloe….she….she passed away!

(Everyone is shocked by the news and some of the Mallrats break into tears by the news. KC climbs down from the table and May pulls him into a tight embrace but he quickly pulls away wiping his eyes again)

KC: (shakes his head) I’ve got to be strong…for Patsy!

[May nods before she leans in and places a small kiss on his cheek. KC leaves the rest of the Mallrats to deal with the news while he goes to find Patsy. Camera slowly fades out to black]

Scene 22

[Camera slowly pans in from black to show Ebony sneaking through the darkened building still holding her knife against her side. A laugh in the darkness causes her to jump, as the camera zooms in on her we can hear her heart beating against her chest]

Guardian: You’re a fool Ebony!
Ebony: Who’s there!

(A light flickers on and off in the hallway and Ebony watches with her mouth open as the Guardian steps under the light)

Guardian: Your worst nightmare!

[Before she is able to react two Chosen members step out from the shadows and one of them hits her from behind causing her to fall to the ground. Camera zooms in on her before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 23

[Caleb walks into Brady's room, careful to make sure that no one else is in the room, when he sees that it is quiet, he walks in smiles, the camera focusing on his evil smile.]

Caleb: You were once the golden child, a special one...

(Caleb picks up a pillow and walks nearer to Brady)

Caleb: The special one... the daughter of Zoot... but times have changed...

(The camera pans to Caleb's gaze)

Caleb: Now the reign of the real Chosen will begin. And you will not be needed... you must join Zoot... now!

(Caleb walks a couple of steps closer and smirks, bringing the pillow down over Brady as footsteps enter the room and he glances over his shoulder)

Slade: What the hell are you doing?

[Caleb looks around and the camera pans between the two before cutting to the next scene.]

Scene 24

[Camera cuts from previous scene to show that Brooke’s bar is empty bar two young teenager boys, both slightly drunk sat closely together in one of the booths with small candles lighting the area]

Jared: (Continued) And that’s how I found myself here…bloody Techno’s they had no bloody respect….no bloody respect at all!
Darryl: (Laughs) You like bloody don’t you?
Jared: Bloody is a bloody good word!

(The both break into laughter falling against each others. Jared stops laughing first and gently touches the side of Darryl’s face)

Darryl: (pulls away) Don’t!
Jared: Come on one wee kiss!

[Darryl shakes his head but Jared reaches out and puts his hand under Darryl’s chin and turns his face around so he is able to kiss him. As much as he tells himself to stop Darryl is unable to stop kissing Jared back. Camera zooms out as the Candles die out before fading to black]

Scene 25

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show the airport in darkness, Ryan is walking along the corridor and he stops at his and Cass's room. He walks into the room, careful not to disturb either Jake or Cass. Stopping at the crib of his son he ruffles his son's hair and pulls the blanket over his small body, placing the toy tiger next to him.]

(Ryan then turns to Cass, asleep in their bed, walking to the bedside table he places a note down on the table)

Ryan: I love you Cass. But I can't keep doing this.

(Ryan bends to kiss her softly on the head)

Ryan: Goodbye...

[Ryan walks out of the bedroom, picking up his bag on the way as he walks out of the room, out of the corridor and out of the airport, not glancing back as he walks into the darkness and the camera fades to black, and the end credits roll.]
