Scene 1

[Camera slowly fades in from black as Tears in Heaven by the Choir boys plays throughout the scene. All of the tribe, including Darryl, Jared, Alice and Dreamer have gathered in a field on the outskirts of the city where two freshly made graves are laid. The tribe have formed a semi circle around two graves.]

(Camera zooms in on the first one which reads “Cloe a shinning light in the dark never forgotten)

(Camera then cuts to the next one which reads “Tai-San loving wife and mother, who found the spirit within)

(Trudy steps out of the circle and addresses her friends and fellow Mallrats)

Trudy: It’s a great loss that we lost one friend but to lose two in such a short amount of time is a tragedy but they will also live on inside of us and will never be forgotten, they have now joined our other friends and they continue to look down on us and be forever in our hearts!

(Trudy gives a small nod and out of the crowd Brady and Bray Jnr. walk up to the graves each holding a bunch of flower, they then place the bunches of flowers on the graves)

Trudy: (holding back her tears) Would anyone else like to say anything?

(Patsy steps forward and joins Trudy)

Patsy: Cloe….Cloe you have always and always will be my best and closest friend and I can’t….

(Patsy is unable to finish what she is saying and KC quickly rushes to her side wrapping his arms around her)

KC: What Patsy was trying to say that we loved both Cloe and Tai-San very much and the world will be a much sadder world without them..

Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven

Trudy: Lex?

(Lex comes to the front holding his son in his arms)

Lex: (Looks up as he speaks) I know you can hear me my darling wife and I just want you to know that I’m missing you so much already but I know I’ve got to be strong and carry on for our son and every day and night I’m going to tell him how amazing his mother was and how much you loved him!

(Trudy wraps her arms around her long term friend before kissing Theo on the head)

[One by one the Mallrats pay their respects before heading back to the Airport. Only Lex is left standing by the graves. Camera slowly pans out before fading to black]

Scene 2

[The camera flashes from black to a dark room, repeating several times as Viola appears on the screen. The camera pans around and we see that the camera was Ebony's POV. Ebony moves her arms and the sound of clanking follows. The camera moves around the room, showing a dark cellar like room before coming back around to show Ebony chained to a wall.]

Ebony (angry): What the hell? Get me out of here!

(Viola doesn't answer and crosses her arms)

Ebony: Hello... anyone home!

(No response)

Ebony (yelling): LET ME OUT OF HERE! RIGHT NOW!
Viola (whispers): Scum!
Ebony: HUH!
Viola: Vermin... low life!
Ebony: GET ME OUT OF HERE... I MEAN IT!

(Viola spits at Ebony and smirks before she turns on her back to leave the room)

Ebony: I'LL GET YOU BACK... YOU WITCH! ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!
Viola: Just you try!

[The camera pans to Viola's twisted face and fades to black.]

Scene 3

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Amber laying in bed, Bray is standing in the doorway shaking his head in disbelief.]

Bray: Amber... you can't be serious.
Amber: I'm deadly serious!
Bray: Amber... you can't stop me seeing my son.
Amber: I can if that kid stays around.
Bray: But Amber!
Amber (shakes her head): There's two options... it's me and Bray jnr or Rain.

(Bray shakes his head, running his hands through his hair)

Bray: You can't make me choose!
Amber: It's simple Bray... you've made your bed, choose which one you want to lie in!
Bray: No!

[Bray turns and heads out of the room, slamming the door shut as he does. Amber looks after Bray leaving the room and puts her head in her hands and starts to sob, the camera panning to her face before fading to black.]

Scene 4

[Camera fades in from black to show Darryl and Jared walking away from the airport and back to the bar.]

Jared: (Breaking the silence) Talk about awkward

(Darryl nods, lost in his own thoughts)

Jared: (Slips his hand into Darryl’s who looks up) If it makes you feel better I think Axel is jealous, he was the one who finished it but you’re the one who moved on!
Darryl: Yea…I guess your tight
Jared: (Smirks) I’m always right…now come on let’s get back to the bar before Alice turns up!

[The two boys break into a run with the thought of having the place to themselves and Darryl cant help but forget the dirty looks he was getting from Axel as a smile slips over his lips]

Scene 5

[Camera cuts from the previous scene to show the Mallrats gathered in their main meeting room, at the moment everyone is talking in loud voices, each one trying to be heard over the others. Bray stands up and using the meeting hammer slams it down onto the table causing the other Mallrats to quiet down]

Bray: Look I know we’re all scared and concerned about the fact that the Chosen have returned but we’ve beaten them once so what’s to say we can’t again?

(The Mallrats cheer at this before falling back into silence)

Bray: …but at the moment we don’t know enough about them to even prepare ourselves for a attack so what I suggest is that two of us go and see what’s going on back at their camp but who to go?

(The Mallrats remain silent as no one volunteers, a single hand goes up before Patsy stands up)

Patsy: I’ll go!
KC: (shocked) Patsy you can’t
Patsy: I have to…Bray please let me go!

(Jack stands up and moves over to Patsy’s side giving her a small smile)

Jack: I’ll go with her!
Bray: (Nods in respect) All in favour of Jack and Patsy to scout out the Chosen raise your hands!

(Most of the Mallrats raise their hands, KC rolls his eyes before he raises his hand earning him a smile from Patsy)

Bray: with that decided we will have another meeting once Jack and Patsy get back!

[The Mallrats start to leave the room as the camera fades to black]

Scene 6

[Camera fades in from black to show Tanzie sat in her tent she is slowly running her hands over her bump and soothing her unborn child, she has a smile plastered on her lips]

Tanzie: Not long now my little prince…soon you will have the whole tribe bowing down to you, the real leader of the chosen!

(Her smile broadens)

Tanzie: You will grow up to been known as the greatest leader of the chosen and ruler of the city, no longer will imposters rule the chosen! My sweet child, you will be our light in the darkness!

[Camera zooms in on Tanzie before cutting to black]

Scene 7

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Jack walking through the doors of the bar, the camera pans around and Alice looks up, raising an eyebrow at him as she motions for him to sit on a bar stall opposite her.]

Alice: Jack... long time no see.
Jack: Yeah.
Alice: Drink? (holds up a glass)
Jack (nods): Yeah... thanks.

(Alice pours Jack a drink and slides the glass over to him. Jack takes the glass and stares into it for the longest moment.)

Alice: Penny for them?
Jack: Huh?
Alice: Jack. You're obviously not here for the drink. Why don't you tell me what's on your mind?
Jack: It's Ellie.
Alice: Yeah, I'd guessed that much. What specifically?
Jack: She's ill Alice.
Alice: The virus?
Jack: No... I mean she's not eating Alice. Not properly. She's like a walking skeleton.
Alice: Well make her eat Jack... it's not that hard!
Jack: It is... she won't eat, I've tried everything but false feeding her, and I just can't do that. I don't know what else I can do, I'm losing her Alice. I'm scared that if she carries on she'll wither away and die! I can't lose her!

(Alice puts a hand on Jack's shoulder)

Alice: Let me help!

[Jack nods, the camera panning to his solemn face before fading to black.]

Scene 8

[The camera fades in, Lex is sitting in his room, Tai-san's wedding dress is spread across the bed as he lays down next to it, bringing it up to his nose as Keep on Lovin' You by Reo Speedwagon starts to play.]

You shouldve seen by the look in my eyes, baby

(Tears start to form in Lex's eye's as he wraps his arms around the dress.)

(Lex starts to cry as he picks up the picture from their wedding day)

(Lex sits down with his son, trying to rock him gently)

(Lex places his son against his chest, his sobs mixed in with that of his son)

[The camera pans to Lex and focuses on him, before panning to the picture of Lex and Tai-san and fades to black.]

Scene 9

[The camera fades in from black to show Ebony still chained in her dark cell, as the camera pans around to show the cell, we see the Guardian enter from the doorway, his white robes flapping behind him as he does.]

Ebony: Well, well... should have guessed we'd come face to face again!
Guardian: Yes... well the world's a funny place. Seems our roles have been reversed! You're my prisoner this time!
Ebony (sarcastically): Yeah! Lucky me!
Guardian: And I see you're not alone!

(The Guardian motions to Ebony's pregnancy)

Ebony: How observant of you!

(The Guardian moves closer and runs his hand across Ebony's belly)

Guardian: Your child is lucky!
Ebony: Why's that!
Guardian: They will be born under the rule of the Chosen!
Ebony: I don't think so!
Guardian: I do... the rule of the Chosen is coming once again... and this time things will be different!
Ebony: You're still nuts Jaffa!
Guardian (frowns): You want to be careful...
Ebony (rolls her eyes): Why?

(The Guardian pulls out a knife from his robes)

Guardian: One slip of this knife... (runs the blade across Ebony's belly) ...and your child will meet a messy end! Think of that before you do anything stupid!

[The camera pans to Ebony's worried face before fading to black.]

Scene 10

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Bray sitting in Rain's new bedroom, he sits and stares at her, as she sits on the floor and plays with her dolls, mumbling to herself. ]

Bray (softly): Rain... can you come here for a moment?

(The little girl looks up at the strange man and frowns, she looks at him for the longest moment and we can see that she has Bray's eyes. After a few moments she moves and steps closer to Bray. She puts out her arms and he picks her up, placing her on his knee)

Bray: We need to talk.
Rain: Okay...
Bray: Do you know what a dad is?
Rain (frowns): I don't have a daddy. My mummy said so.
Bray: But you know that you do have one...
Rain: I do?
Bray (nods): Yes...
Rain: Who?

(Bray takes a deep breath and sighs)

Bray: Rain.. I am your dad.

(Rain looks up at Bray and frowns)

Rain: Daddy?

(Rain puts her hand up to Bray's cheek and rubs it softy)

Rain: Daddy?

[Rain's hand stays on Bray's cheek as he nods and a tear falls down his cheek, the camera panning to his face before fading to black.]

Scene 11

[Camera cuts to the Freedom Fighters base to show that Dreamer and five other members of the tribe are sat on chairs in a circle]

Sara: All I’m saying Dreamer is that this isn’t our fight…
Dreamer: Of course it’s our fight, this is our city and I will be dammed if I’m gunna sit around and watch them take over!
Jordan: (Stands up) Well you stay and fight, but your tribe are leaving, I’m sorry Dreamer but we’re tired of fighting
Dreamer: SO your going to run away, Come on Jordan after everything we’ve been through together? Sara? Jacob? Mike? Laura?

(Dreamer meets the eyes of her closest friends but they all turn away ashamed)

Jordan: Come with us Dreamer! We need our leader more now then ever…we can leave the city find somewhere better to live!
Dreamer: (Shakes her head) I can’t leave not now, not until I know Ebony is safe and the only way is to see that is to defeat the chosen!
Jordan: I understand!
Dreamer: (Fighting back her tears) When you leaving then?
Laura: (Speaks up) As soon as we’re packed…Dreamer I’m so sorry!
Dreamer: (Gives her a small smile) It’s ok! I think I’ll go now!

[Dreamer pushes herself up and leaves the room shaking her head and holding back her tears. The other five members of the tribe sit in silence as Laura breaks into tears. Jordan crosses over to her and pulls her into his arms. Camera fades to the next scene]

Scene 12

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Ellie sitting in one of the bathrooms in the airport. A tin of peaches sits in front of her as she picks up the spoon filled with peaches and puts the spoon into her mouth, she tries to bite down on it as Sarah McLachlan – Angel starts to play.]

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance

(Ellie spits out the peaches and throws the tin and peaches across the room, watching as it hits the floor. She groans as she reaches for her stomach and places a hand to her mouth, rushing into one of the cubicles.)

From this dark cold hotel room

(The camera moves to the toilet and we see Ellie put her hands down her throat as she tries to make herself throw up. When she isn't successful she falls down, slumping back against the cubicle door. The camera then pans to her skirt which is stained red between her legs.)

So tired of the straight line

There's vultures and thieves at your back

(Ellie shakes her head as she grabs hold of her stomach and starts to sob)

Ellie (whispers): My baby!

[The camera pans to Ellie as she sobs harder and falls to the floor, curling into a ball as the camera pans and fades to black.]

Scene 13

[Camera fades in from black to show Jared sneaking downstairs dressed in only in his boxers. He studies the empty bar before calling out]

Jared: Hello? Anyone here? Alice?

(Hearing no reply, a smile snakes over his lips as he crosses over the room and locks the front door. He then goes behind the bar and pulls out a bottle of champagne from the fridge and collects two glasses his smile widens as he feels a pair of arms wrapping themselves around his waist)

Darryl: (whispers) I was wondering where you had gone!
Jared: I thought you needed cheering up even more and what better way then with champagne!

[Jared tilts his head so that he is able to kiss Darryl passionately. As the boys deepen the kiss the camera fades out to the next scene]

Scene 14

[Camera cuts to show Patsy standing in front of her mirror, she has lost her normal clothes and tribal markings and replaced them with dark colours and has a simple splash of dark green going over her face. A knock at the door causes her to turn around]

Patsy: Cass?

(Camera pans around as Cass walks into the room holding Jake in her arms)

Cass: Trudy told me what you and Jack are doing and I thought I would come and tell you how brave I think you are and I wanted you to know that I look up to you Patsy…seeing you as this strong independent woman wants me to better myself!
Patsy: OH Cass!

(Cass closes the gap between herself and smiles down at her son before holding him out for Patsy)

Cass: Do you want a cuddle with him?

(Pasty nods as she holds Jake in her arms for the first time in ages)

Patsy: Hey little guy!

[Patsy slowly sits down on the bed as she plays with Jake; Cass takes a seat next to her and smiles down at Jake as he laughs at Patsy. Camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 15

[The camera cuts in, Enola walks through the doorway of May's room with a large box.]

May: Is the last of them?

(Enola puts down the box)

Enola (nods): Yeah... I think so!
May: You have a lot of stuff!
Enola (laughs): Yeah I know!

(The camera pans around to show that May's room is full of boxes)

Enola: Having second thoughts?
May (shakes her head): No! Just wondering if there's gonna be room for everything!
Enola: We'll make room!
May: I hope so!

(Enola laughs and slips her arms around May's waist)

Enola: Happy?
May (nods): Yeah... happiest I've been in a long time!
Enola: Good...
May: Thank you!
Enola: For what?
May: For making me remember why life is worth living!
Enola: You're welcome! Why don't you show me how grateful you are!

(May raises an eyebrow suggestively)

May: Oh I think I can do that!

[May leans in to kiss Enola as her hands move up Enola's back and run through the younger girl's hair, the camera panning out to show the happy couple before fading to the next scene.]

Scene 16

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show an overview of the Chosen camp, before moving along the camp site to the largest and most majestic tent, the camera pans through the opening of the tent to show the Guardian kneeling before the image of Zoot, his prayers are so quiet that they cannot be heard.]

Guardian: Enter!

(The camera pans to behind the Guardian to show that Caleb is hovering in the doorway)

Guardian: Caleb... I do not have all day for you to hover about.
Caleb: Yes Guardian!

(Caleb enters the tent and kneels next to the Guardian in front of the Zoot image, praying quietly as he does)

Guardian: Power and Chaos.
Caleb: Power and Chaos.
Guardian: What news?
Caleb: Bad...
Guardian (frowns): WHAT!?
Caleb: Guardian I have failed. I was discovered before I could deal with the child imposter. I offer my penance for my failure!

(The Guardian stands up and frowns)

Guardian: That will not save you from the wrath of Zoot! Now leave! I must re think my plans.
Caleb: But Guardian... the plans are already in motion!
Guardian: Plans change!

[The camera zooms to the Guardians smile before fading to black.]

Scene 17

[Camera fades in from black to show Cass lying on her bed holding Ryan’s letter against her chest, tears are rolling down her face as she looks up at the ceiling]

Cass: Oh god Ryan….please come back to me…I’m sorry for pushing you away…I need you back, I cant do this on my own, please Ryan I now understand I made the biggest mistake in the world for pushing you away and I need you, I need you more then I need air it’s self!

[Cass rolls over onto her side and cries into her pillow as the camera slowly pans out and cuts to black]

Scene 18

[The camera pans in from black to show Ebony still in her cell. Her chains have been loosened and she is slumped on the floor as one of the Chosen brings her a dry bread roll and a glass of water, reminiscent of what she use to feed Loco prisoners. Ebony looks at the girl in disgust.]

Ebony: Mindless zombie!

(Ebony goes to pick up the water and drinks it all, breathing heavily at the end of it. Her expression on her face changes as she groans and moves her hand to her belly).

Ebony: Keep still little one! Please!

(Ebony groans again, grasping the glass in her hand, crying out as it breaks in her hands and the glass smashes into her skin)

Ebony: Oh no... no... no...

(Ebony moves her hand to between her legs and feels a damp patch)

Ebony: No... not my baby... not now!

(Ebony grimaces and clamps her legs tightly together, closing her eyes as she does)

Ebony: OUCH!

[Ebony cries out again as one of the Chosen guards comes running and sees that Ebony is in labour before leaving the room, as Ebony cries out again and the camera then fades to black.]

Scene 19

[Camera fades in from black to show Axel sat in his room, he is surrounded by pictures that Darryl drew him back before they broke up. He cries out in frustration as he screws the pictures up and pulls them apart]

Axel: God Darryl! You really know how to mess up a guy’s head don’t you!

(Axel places all the pictures into a bin and lights a match before dropping it into the bin)

Axel: (Whispers) If you can move on then so can I!

[Axel watches as the flames lick up the paper, he tilts his head as hew watches a picture of himself and Darryl disappear into the sea of fire. Camera zooms in on the fire before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 20

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Tally sitting in her room at the Chosen camp, she picks up a photo and the camera pans in to show that the photo is one of her, Ned and Andy from series 3. She runs her fingers over the two men in the picture as tears fall from her face and she starts to cry.)

Tally: Why. Why did it all end up like this?

(Tally turns over the picture and smiles a little at the text scribbled on the back 'Tally, Ned and Andy, Mallrats for ever.')

Tally: Those were the happiest times... the happiest times of my life!

(Tally gets up and looks at herself in the mirror, she frowns and then looks down at the picture.)

Tally: Maybe it's time to revisit the past?

[Tally looks at the picture and then herself and back to the picture before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 21

[Night has fallen over the chosen camp. Camera pans in on the trees which surround the camp to show Jack and Patsy stalking the shadows]

Patsy: (Whispers) There’s loads of them!
Jack: (Nods) More then before…the guardian still in charge do you think?
Patsy: (Shrugs) Only one way to find out!

(Patsy moves through the tree’s to get a closer look)

Jack: Patsy NO!

(Camera pans out as Patsy foot catches a trip wire causing bells to ring out through the night)

Jack: Patsy run!

(Without being told twice as they hear shouts and cries from inside the tents, Patsy turns on her heels and runs. The two Mallrats move through the forest as they hear footsteps behind them)

Patsy: (Scared) Jack what do we do?

(Before Jack is able to reply, Patsy lets out an ear piecing scream as a Chosen member steps out from behind a tree and grabs Patsy! Jack turns around and is about to fight back when he sees torches searching the surrounding area)

Chosen 1: (Calls out) I’ve got them!
Patsy: Jack run…just leave me! Tell KC….

(The Chosen member knocks her head against the nearest tree causing her to go limp, Jack is about to attack the young looking guy when he feels a pair of arms grab him. Spinning around Jack head butts the other guy and rams his free arms into the guys stomach. Feeling regret, Jack runs into the darkness.)

[Camera zooms in on Patsy before cutting to black]

Scene 22

[Camera fades in from black to show a slightly drunk Alice standing outside her pub searching her pockets for her keys]

Alice: AH HA!

(She pulls her keys out from her back pocket and steps closer to the front door, she unlocks it and gently pushes it open with easy, not wanting to wake up Darryl or Jared. As she steps into the room she lets out a cry and quickly turns around)

Alice: OH MY GOD

(Camera pans around to show Darryl lying on his back on the bar and Jared on top of him, both boys quickly jump down behind the bar as they pull on her clothes)

Jared: Alice I thought you was staying at the airport tonight!
Alice: (shakes her head) Still OH MY GOD!
Jared: But!
Alice: (Hold up her hands) I don’t want to hear! I’m gunna have this image in my head for the rest of my life! Get dressed and clean my bloody bar and pour me a vodka!

[Camera cuts to show that both Jared and Darryl are dressed, an embarrassed and slightly red Darryl collects a glass to get Alice’s drink, while Jared can’t help but laugh, he gives Darryl a wink as he goes to clean the bar. Camera fades to black]

Scene 23

[Camera fades in from black to show a handful of Mallrats standing in the main lobby. KC is walking back and forth stopping every now and then to look out into the darkness]

KC: What's taking them so long, they should be back by now!
Bray: KC calm down, I’m sure they won’t be much longer!

(The camera pans around to show the door being pushed open and Jack collapses through the door)

Jack: (finding it hard to breathe) They caught us….they got Patsy…I tried but there was too many of them….I tried!

(Jack breaks into tears as Trudy rushes to his side and helps him up)

Trudy: Lets get you back to your room!

(As Trudy leads Jack away, everyone else turns to KC who is staring into space)

Apollo: KC?

[Camera zooms in on KC who is still staring into space. Camera fades to black]

Scene 24

[Camera cuts to show Bray and Apollo still sat in the main lobby talking about Patsy when suddenly the door is pushed open both jump up expecting to see Patsy]

Apollo: Dreamer!
Dreamer: The freedom fighters are no more!
Bray: What?
Dreamer: I need a place to stay…just until I know Ebony is ok…please!
Bray: (Nods) Of course you can stay Dreamer!
Dreamer: Thank you Bray!
Apollo: (Smirks) You can share my room!

[Both Dreamer and Bray roll their eyes as the three of them walk into the main part of the airport. Camera fades out]

Scene 25

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Ebony, this time she is in a bedroom, several Chosen guards surround her as one of the women mops her brow, Ebony tries to push her away but groans as she tries to strain against the stirrups her legs are in.]

Ebony (breathlessly): Get... away from me...
Caleb: Don't fight it!
Ebony: No... my baby!

(Caleb laughs as he slaps Ebony around the face)

Caleb: Your baby will be a member of the Chosen!
Ebony (screams): NO!
Chosen girl: The head is out!
Caleb: Good!

(Ebony pants again, trying hard not to push the baby out, but can't resist the signals from her body and lets out a loud yell as she pushes one last time. The sound of crying fills the air)

Chosen girl 2: It's a boy!
Ebony: My baby...

(Ebony puts her hands up to receive her son. The Guardian enters the room and nods at the child that the Chosen girl is holding)

Guardian: Good... a new child for the Chosen cause!
Ebony (yells): No! Give me my son!
Guardian: No Ebony! He is not your son, he is Zoot's child!
Caleb: What shall we do with her?

(The Guardian shrugs)

Guardian: Throw her out... she's served her purpose!
Ebony (screams): I WANT MY BABY!

[The Guardian picks up the newborn and the camera focuses on his evil smile, as he turns to walk away, Ebony's screams heard down the hallway as the camera cuts to black.]
