Scene 1

[The camera fades in from the opening credits, we see the last scene from the previous episode with Ryan standing in front of the Mallrats. By now Cass has regained consciousness and is sitting in a chair. Ryan steps forward and picks up his son, holding Jake close as he inhales the smell he has missed.]

Slade: So Ryan... you're back.
Ryan (nods): Yeah... but it's different.
Bray: Huh?

(Ryan hands Jake back to Trudy)

Ryan: I've come back to join the Mallrats. But I've been off doing some soul searching. And... well it's no longer Ryan. I'm now Colby.

(The Mallrats say nothing as they look around at each other, not sure what to say to each other.)

Bray (breaks the silence): Okay... um, welcome back!

[Ryan, now Colby, nods and heads out of the cafe as the Mallrats look after him and a stunned Cass looks confused and frowns as the camera cuts to black.]

Scene 2

[Camera fades in from black as the New Age Chosen stand in silence around their leaders tent. Caleb steps out of the tent holding a the baby in his arms, a smile spreads over his lips as he lifts the infant up into the air for his follows to see]

Caleb: (Calls out) The son of Zoot! Praise him, love him for he is the Chosen Child!

(His Followers cheer out in response before they fall to their knees and bow down to their future leader)

Chosen: (Chant) Zoot be praised and his Chosen Son!
Caleb: (Shouts) The future is NOW!

[The New age Chosen cheer back in response. The Camera zooms in on the infant before fading to black]

Scene 3

[The camera fades in to show Ellie in hers and Jack's room, she is pulling out a small bag from under the bed and opens one of the chest of drawers as she begins to pull out some of her clothes and starts to pack them into the bag.]

(Ellie sighs as she turns to the wardrobe, as she does the camera pans around to show that Jack is walking down the corridor towards the room and he stops in the doorway, frowning as he watches Ellie.)

Jack: What are you doing?

(Ellie doesn't turn around as she answers Jack)

Ellie: Packing.
Jack: Are you moving out?

(Ellie shakes her head)

Ellie: No. I'm going to Alice's.
Jack: Why?

(Ellie stops and turns around to face Jack)

Ellie: We covered that yesterday Jack. I'm going away... away from here... and most importantly away from you!

(Jack frowns even more)

Jack: But!

[Ellie shakes her head and walks past Jack, the bag slung over her shoulder as the camera follows and then pans back to show a sad looking Jack before fading to black.]

Scene 4

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show KC and Patsy sitting in their bedroom, KC sits at one end of the bed and Patsy at the other end.]

Patsy: Now we've gotten through the first obstacle. Do you want to tell me what's bugging you?

(KC sighs and runs a hand through his hair)

KC: Look.
Patsy: It's the baby isn't it?
KC (nods): Well yeah.
Patsy: You don't think its yours, do you?

(KC looks at Patsy)

KC: No. If I'm honest I don't. Why didn't you tell me? Before you were kidnapped.
Patsy: I didn't know I was pregnant KC. How could I?
KC: You must have known.
Patsy (desperately): I didn't! You have to believe me!
KC: I wish I could. I really do!

(Patsy gets up and stands in front of KC. She picks up his hand and places it on her belly)

Patsy: This is your child KC. I've not been with anyone else... ever!

[KC says nothing further and stares at the bump, pulling his hand away quickly when he feels a kick and then he turns away and starts to cry. The camera fades to black.]

Scene 5

[Lex is walking down the corridor, pushing Theo in his pram as he sees Ryan and speeds up to catch up with his friend.]

Lex (yells): Hey Ryan!

(Ryan turns around, ready to tell the person who yelled to him that his name was Colby. Seeing that it is Lex he smiles. He opens his arms to hug Lex, but instead a fist comes flying at his face and hits him squarely on the jaw.)

(Ryan yells and falls to the floor, he pushes himself up and steps away from Lex. By now Theo has started to wail and Lex picks up his son from his pram and rocks him in his arms.)

Ryan: What the hell was that for!

(Ryan suddenly does a double take and notices the baby)

Ryan: Lex... you're... Tai-san had the baby?!

(Lex nods as tears form in the corner of his eyes)

Lex: Yes... this is... my son Theo!

(Ryan moves closer and looks at the baby, his face softening as he spies tiny Theo)

Ryan: He's gorgeous Lex. Congratulations.... now do you want to tell me what the smack was all about?
Lex (shakes his head): You left me... left us... when I needed you! I was mad!
Ryan: Why? What do you mean? What's happened?

(Lex looks at the ground and then at his son)

Ryan: Tai-san?
Lex (nods): She's gone...

(Ryan looks devastated as she shakes his head and then wraps his arms around Lex and Theo)

Ryan: I am so sorry Lex. So sorry.
Lex (nods): I know... I just, just needed you mate.
Ryan: Well I'm here now... how can I help?
Lex: Would you... would you be my son's guardian?

(Ryan looks down at Theo and nods)

Ryan: I would be honoured... really honoured.

[The camera pans to Theo's small face and then cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 6

[The Camera cuts to show Cass running into her room, she places Jake in his cot before running back and closing the room, she rests her head against the door and closes her eyes taking in deep breathes]

(Onerepublic - Come Home starts to play in the back ground)

(Cass walks further into her room when she spots a family picture by the bed, she covers her mouth as tears start to fall down her cheeks)

(Cass lets her body drop to the floor as she starts to sob harder, she finds it hard to breathe as she is crying so hard)

[Camera zooms out before fading to black]

Scene 7

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Danni still in the cage at the beach that we have seen previously. This time the camera pans out to show the occupants of Danni's cage. Several of the people are recognisable as tribes we have seen before, several are Demon Dogs, Chosen, even the Nightwind and Freedom Fighters.]

(The camera pans around to show a close of Danni as she sits in her cage, her knees up to her chest.)

Danni: Do we ever get fed?
Boy 1: Yeah... sometimes. Other times they like to starve us.
Danni: What a wonderful time I'm going to have!

(Danni and some of the other occupants laugh, a guard walks past and pokes them with his staff)

Chosen 1: Be quiet!
Danni: Get lost!
Chosen: Be quiet... or they're be no rations!

(Danni sighs and collapses against the cage wall as the Chosen guard joins some of the fellow guards and Danni sighs again, wondering what on earth she is in for.)

Danni: Fab Danni... just great!

(One of the cage occupants comes and sits next to her, handing her a small piece of bread. Danni takes the bread and looks up at the person. She frowns)

Danni: Hey... I know who you are!
Boy 2: You do? How?
Danni: You're Jay! I've seen your picture!

[The camera pans around to show the boy's face and we see that it is Jay, the camera then fades to black.]

Scene 8

[The camera fades in, we see Alice and Ellie sitting in the bar, Ellie's bag sitting next to her as Alice pours then both a drink.]

Alice: So you and Jack... you're still together?
Ellie (nods): Yeah... its just. I need some time away from him.
Alice: Okay sis. You know you're always welcome here.

(Ellie smiles)

Alice: So what's been going on at the airport?
Ellie: Same old, everyone running around like headless chickens. With the Chosen not making a move, no one really knows what to do. It's not like it was last time. Last time they attacked immediately, this time they seem to be waiting and it's doing everyone's head in.
Alice (nods): I can imagine!
Ellie: Everyone thinks that Patsy's pregnancy is part of the Chosen's plan. It's causing a lot of problems!
Alice: Sounds like its bad there.
Ellie: It is! Oh and Ryan's back, except he's calling himself Colby now. He's changed.

(Alice stares at Ellie and frowns, trying to hide her secret as she does.)

Alice: Well that's nice.
Ellie: Yeah.

[The camera pans to Alice's face before fading to black.]

Scene 9

[Camera fades in from black to show Jack sitting at the breakfast bar by himself, he has his head rested in his hands.]

Jack: (Mutters to himself) Jack what is going on? Why is everything messed up!

Voice of screen: Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness!

(Jack turns around to see Apollo standing at the edge of the bar)

Jack: (smiles) Gee thanks Apollo!

(Apollo moves down the bar and takes a seat next to Jack)

Apollo: (Uneasy) So do you wanna talk about it?
Jack: (Shakes his head) Thanks mate…but I don’t want to bore you!
Apollo: (Smiles) NO really…if you ever need someone to talk to, I got your back mate!

(The two guys share a “manly” hand shake)

Jack: God man, she drives me mad, but I love her…I just wish I could help her!
Apollo: What I’ve realised in live is that people can’t accept help until they are ready to help themselves!
Jack: And what if she is never ready

(Apollo shrugs his shoulders and pats Jack on the back)

Apollo: Maybe staying with Alice is her first step
Jack: (Smiles) Do you think
Apollo: (Nods) I’m sure of it…now how about we go to a real bar?

[Jack nods and the two guys jump down from their seats and head for the door, Camera pans around before fading out]

Scene 10

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Cass in her room, she is sitting reading on her bed as Jake wiggles around in his crib. There is a creak from outside and Cass looks up from her book to see that Colby is standing in the doorway. Cass smiles at him but doesn't get a response. ]

Cass: Hi. Did you want something?
Colby (nods): My son.

(Colby goes to the crib and picks up Jake. He smiles and hugs his son close.)

Cass: Did you want to take him for a while?
Colby (nods): I'll bring him back later!
Cass: Sure. Um, yeah.

(Colby turns to walk out of the room and Cass smiles)

Cass: Have fun!

(Colby leaves without a backwards glance as Cass watches sadly)

Cass: What have I done?

[Cass flops onto the bed and stares into space as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black to show Viola lying on the bed, still tied up, she has tears running down her face and beads of sweat on her forehead. Camera pans further out to show the Guardian standing over her with a smirk on his lips]

Guardian: Not long now…then the sweet child of Zoot will be born!
Chosen Midwife: Don’t push yet Viola, just keep breathing…take long deep breathes
Viola: Easy for you to say!

(Guardian steps up to Viola and slaps her)

Guardian: It is an honour to carry the child of Zoot…

(turns to the Chosen midwife)

Guardian: Let me know when the child is born!

[The guardian turns and walks out of the tent. Scene cuts to black]

Scene 12

[Camera fades in from black to show Lottie sitting in the corner of her room with her knee’s pressed up against her chest.]

KC OV: Child of the Chosen?
Gel OV: Do you think she was…you know?

(Lottie covers her ears with her hands and starts to rock back and forth)

Ruby OV: It’s Lottie, they….they raped her!
Salene OV: Oh my god!

(Lottie shakes her head)

Lottie: No…no…no not again…please not again!

[Camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 13

[Bray knocks on Amber's door and pushes it open without waiting for an answer. Amber, is startled to see Bray and pushes herself up to a sitting position.]

Amber (shocked): Bray... what is it?

(Bray takes a deep breath before he starts to speak)

Bray: It's my turn this time Amber. I've come here to say something and I want you to listen. Okay?
Amber (nods): Okay.
Bray: I love you Amber. I love you more than life itself, and I made a mistake, a stupid dumb mistake. I slept with Danni and I shouldn't have. I've been in a rut for a long time, I don't think things have been the same with us since the miscarriage, and I do not blame you for that, I never have and I never will, these things just happen. But I do think it changed things between us. But I've learnt my lesson, I've come out at the end of it knowing that you are what I want. But it's not just me that I have to consider. I have to take care of me and my children. Bray jnr and Rain are my children Amber, both of them. I love them both equally and I've missed enough time of both of their lives. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Amber: I think so...
Bray: If you take me back, you take all that comes with me... and that's my mistake and my children. Both of them...

(Amber stares at Bray for a long time before she nods)

Amber: I understand.

(Bray turns to walk away from Amber)

Bray: I'll give you time to think about it. To think about what you want. Okay?

[Amber nods as Bray leaves and the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 14

[Colby is standing outside the airport, watching the birds fly over head when he hears footsteps behind him. Turning around, Colby's face breaks into a smile as he sees that the footsteps belong to no one other than Patsy.]

Colby: Patsy... oh my god... you're pregnant!

(Patsy laughs and embraces Colby)

Patsy: Yeah... long story. Where have you been?
Colby: Around. It's a long story.
Patsy (laughs): Yeah. What's with the new name?
Colby: It's a change. I'm still me, just a little different.
Patsy: Fair enough.

(The two friends hug again)

Colby: So... your baby. KC's I assume?
Patsy (nods): Yeah.

(Patsy looks at the floor and sighs sadly)

Colby: Pats, what is it?

(Patsy bursts into tears and throws herself into Colby's arms)

Patsy (in between sobs): KC... doesn't believe me... doesn't think... the baby is his... it is... I've never been with anyone... else!
Colby: Ah... KC loves you. He'll know that you're telling the truth. He will come to know the truth. Maybe you just need to give him some time?

[Patsy nods and sobs some more into Colby's shoulders. The camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 15

[The camera fades in from black as Trudy and Slade sit in their room, Trudy sits so that her legs are resting over Slade's and her head rests on his shoulder. She sighs sadly as Slade strokes her back.]

Trudy: I've been thinking Slade.
Slade: About what?
Trudy: About the Chosen.
Slade: You don't have to worry about them... I told you that I would always take care of you and Brady...

(Trudy nods and looks up to Slade's face)

Trudy: I know. But I'm fed up with being scared. I want to finish being scared.
Slade: What are you saying?
Trudy: I want to finish it. I want them all dead.
Slade: Okay.
Trudy: I've considered what my options are... and...
Slade: And?
Trudy: I would kill him!

(Slade coughs in shock)

Slade: Kill who?
Trudy: The Guardian. I know what you're going to say. But this man has terrorised my life for so long. He has kidnapped my daughter, brainwashed me!
Slade: But murder?
Trudy (sighs): What else am I supposed to do?
Slade: I don't know honey... there must be some other way!

[Trudy rests her head on his shoulder and sighs sadly before she bursts into tears and Slade puts his arm around her, the camera fading to black.]

Scene 16

[Camera fades in from black to show Sammy walking into Lottie’s room holding Xavier in his arms, he looks around and is about to turn and leave when Lottie stands up from behind the bed, her eyes are blood shot and her hands are shaking]

Sammy: (concerned) Lottie?
Lottie: Sammy…when you said you wanted to leave, did you mean it?
Sammy: (nods) Of course I did

(Lottie stands in silence for a moment, thinking things over and starts to nod her head)

Lottie: I think I want to leave as well….get away from here, get away from everything!

(Sammy nods his head and moves around the bed until he is standing next to Lottie…he takes one of her hands into his and gently strokes his thumb over her hand)

Sammy: Everything is going to be ok Lottie…I promise you when the time is right we will leave, start a new life just the three of us!
Lottie: I would like that a lot!

[Sammy pulls Lottie into a tight embrace and as they cuddle the camera pans out before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 17

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Colby putting Jake into his crib as Cass enters the room. Colby looks at her and turns to walk away without acknowledging Cass. She puts up her hand to stop him.]

Cass: Please... Ry... wait. We need to talk!

(Colby stops and looks at Cass)

Colby: Okay.
Cass: Take a seat.

(Colby pulls up a seat as Cass sits down on the bed)

Cass: I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. Sorry I was such a bitch for a long time.
Colby: Its okay.
Cass (shakes her head): It's not. I was mean, plain and simple. I just wanted you to know that. I want you to know that I'm sorry, even if we're not together. We still have... we have Jake and I always want you to be a part of his life.

(Cass sighs as she takes a deep breath)

Colby: Thanks. I appreciate that Cass. I really do.

(Cass smiles weakly at Colby as she sighs )

Cass: Why don't you take him for the rest of the day?
Colby: You sure?
Cass (nods): Absolutely!

[Colby smiles and picks up his son, turning to smile at Cass before he leaves and the camera cuts to black.]

Scene 18

[Camera fades in from black to show Darryl preparing the bar for another night of business. The door is pushed open and Axel storms in, shutting the door behind him]

Darryl; (Concerned) Axel…you alright?
Axel: Yea…(finding it hard to breathe) It’s a war zone out there…
Darryl: (Nods) tell me about it…Business is dropping night by night!

(Axel walks further into the bar)

Axel: but I had to come and see you…I had to talk to you
Darryl: (confused) Why? What’s happened? What’s the matter?
Axel: (looks down) I’m sorry
Darryl: Sorry?

(Axel takes hold of Darryl’s hands but Darryl quickly pulls away)

Axel: I’m sorry for how everything between us became so twisted and messed up, I’m sorry that I messed up the best thing in my life and I wish there was somewhat of making it up to you

(Darryl stands gob smacked in the middle of the bar unsure of what to say)

Darryl: Oh wow! Gee…

(Axel smiles and goes in for a kiss but Darryl backs away)

Darryl: (Holds out his hands) What you playing at?
Axel: I thought?
Darryl: You thought wrong, you cant just apologize and then try and kiss me…I’m with Jared now!
Axel: But me and you? What we had was something special?
Darryl: At one point I thought it was but it ended, we both moved on and now I have someone else in my life
Axel: Can I ask you one question then? Do you still love me? Like I still love you? Do you think about me every waking moment? Cause I do, and every night I dream of you…
Darryl: (Shakes his head) I….I….you need to go Axel…right now

(Darryl walks over to the door and holds it open for the other guy)

Axel: I’m sorry if I upset you…but if you wasn’t with Jared would you give me another go
Darryl: Just go Axel

[Axel nods and leaves; Darryl shuts the door behind him and then collapses into the nearest chair. Camera pans around and we see that Jared is standing on the stairway; he shakes his head and turns to head back up stairs. Camera pans out before fading to black]

Scene 19

[The camera cuts in from black to show Amber sitting on the bed as Bray pushes open the door gently and smiles weakly as he steps inside.]

Bray: You wanted to see me?
Amber (nods): Yes. Um, I've thought about what you said to me earlier on.
Bray: And?

(Amber sighs as she looks around before her eyes focusing on Bray)

Amber: I feel like I've been going nuts Bray. You hurt me, so much, probably more than you ever know. But I have to accept that its over and we're different people because of it. Do you know what I mean?
Bray (nods): Yes... I think so.
Amber: But I think that I've come out stronger from it. I think I'm learning to appreciate life even more than I did before. Life is precious and so are the people in it.
Bray: Yeah?
Amber: And I do love you Bray. I said that you were the only man who I ever loved, and I think you'll be the only man I ever will love. I love the fact that we have a beautiful boy from our love. And I have to accept that Rain is a part of you... a part of our lives.
Bray (frowns): Amber, what are you saying?

(Amber looks at Bray as she pushes herself off the bed, Bray moves to grab her as she falls but she doesn't. Amber stands still and smiles.)

Amber: I love you Bray. I want you back in my life, I want it all!

(Amber steps forward as Bray moves and picks her up, swinging her around in his arms as he does.)

Bray: Oh Amber. I love you!

[Bray and Amber kiss passionately as the camera pans in on them and then cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 20

[Camera cuts in to show Tally sat in the corner of her tent, she is curled up in a ball and sobbing to herself. The Tent door is unzipped and Caleb walks in, he looms over Tally causing the younger girl to look up in fear]

Tally: What is going to happen to me?
Caleb: The true son of Zoot has been born…all imposters must die

(With that, Caleb kicks Tally in the stomach causing her to scream out in pain)

Tally: (sobs) Stop…please don’t

(Caleb doesn’t listen and continues to kick Tally in the stomach)

Caleb: All imposters must die!

[Camera zooms out before camera fades to black]

Scene 21

[Camera fades in from black. Apollo and Phoenix are setting the tables for dinner in the main canteen area]

(Both boys stop what they are doing when they hear chanting off Zoot outside the airport)

Apollo: It’s going to get worse before it gets better isn’t it bro?
Phoenix: (Nods) A storm is about to hit and we’re stuck dead bang in the middle of it!
Apollo: (shakes his head) Bloody Mall Rats…
Phoenix: (Laughs) Your one of those Bloody Mall Rats!
Apollo: I know….I just cant work out how they can get in so much trouble all the time….

(Phoenix shrugs as he goes off to collect the plates)

Phoenix: (Comes back in) I guess that’s just the sort of tribe they are, fighting the good fight!
Apollo: (nods) I’m just glad we’re on the winning team!
Phoenix: (Smiles) me to bro

[Camera pans out on the scene before fading to black]

Scene 22

[Camera fades in from black, to show Alice locking up the bar early, she doesn’t look impressed as she turns to face Ellie, Jared and Darryl, who all look down hearted]

Alice: The Chosen are really killing business…we might as well stay shut until they are defeated once and for all
Ellie: (Nods) Good idea Alice...its better to be safe then sorry anyway
Jared: What you mean blondie?
Ellie: Don’t call me that…what I mean is that if we stay open any member of the Chosen could just walk in and kill us all
Alice: (Nods) she has a point…(turns to Jared) Can I leave you guys to finish locking up
Jared: You can count on us love

(Alice smiles at him and heads up stairs with Ellie behind him. Jared turns to face Darryl to find him still sat at the bar staring into nothing)

Jared: I don’t suppose you're in a grump cause of Axel are you?
Darryl: (Looks up) What’s Axel got to do with anything?
Jared: (shakes his head) Nothing…nothing at all

[Jared turns to go and lock the back door, Camera zooms in on Darryl before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 23

[The camera cuts back to the new age Chosen camp. The whole tribe have gathered out side and Caleb is standing on a podium with Tanzie by his side holding the child]

Caleb: The time has come the chosen child is born…no longer must we hide in the woods…the time for war is now….let all imposters die, let the age of the chosen begin!

[His tribe cheer at this, the camera pans out before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 24

[The camera cuts to the Chosen camp to show the Chosen gathered outside the Guardians tent]

Guardian: The one and only true child of Zoot is nearly born and it’s a sign, a sign that all imposters must die, let those who wish to destroy him, die before him!

(The tribe cheer)

Guardian: The Mall Rats must die! The imposter Brady must DIE!

[Camera zooms in on the Guardians twisted face before cutting to black]

Scene 25

[The camera fades in from black as the sound of bolts clanging shut echoes through the airport and several of the Mallrats coming running.]

Trudy (yells): What's going on?
Jack (shrugs): I don't know. I heard the bolts.

(Patsy and Colby join them as they run towards the front doors. As they get there they see that Slade, Cass, Apollo, Phoenix and Gel are already there.)

Slade: Trudy!
Trudy: What is it?
Cass: It's Ebony. She's locked us it!

(The camera pans around to show that Ebony is standing with her back to the Mallrats as she turns around.)

Amber: Ebony?! What's going on?

(The Mallrats gasp as they see that Amber is walking towards the doors on her own two feet)

Patsy: Amber! You're walking!
Amber: Yeah! What's this all about?
Bray: Yeah... Ebony?

(Ebony turns around to face the Mallrats)

Ebony: This... is time for war. It's time we attacked the Chosen. Now!
Slade: What?
Bray: You're nuts!
Trudy: We can't!
Amber: Yes we can!
