Scene 1

[The camera fades in from black to show Lex and Tai-san in bed, Lex opens his eyes, rolls over to look at her and smiles, the camera pans around to show Lex’s face]

(Lex leans over and kisses Tai-san, her eyes flutter opens as she turns to face Lex)

Lex: Morning gorgeous!
Tai-san (sighs): Morning to you too!
Lex: How do you feel?

Tai-san: Fine… why?
Lex: How would you feel about getting married today?
Tai-san: Today?
Lex (nods): Yep… why wait?

(Tai-san sighs and sits up; putting her hand on her tummy, she smiles)

Lex: Is that a yes?
Tai-san: I don’t see why it wouldn’t be… I love you Lex!
Lex: I love you too!

(Lex slips his arm around Tai-san as he pulls her back to bed)

Lex: You, um, think we couple try out some moves for our honeymoon before we get up?

(Tai-san shakes her head in disbelief)

Tai-san: Don’t you ever get your mind out of the gutter?
Lex: Not if I can help it!

[Lex laughs as he pulls Tai-san into a tight embrace and rolls over with her before the camera pans out and fades to black.]

Scene 2

[Camera fades in from black to reveal Darryl lying on his bed with his hands covering his face, while Axel paces back and forth in front of him]

Darryl: (looking up) For the forth time Axel, nothing happened between us…we just had a meal and a few drinks.

(Axel stops in his tracks and sits on the edge of his bed)

Axel: I want to believe you Darryl, I really do but you didn’t come and see me last night like you promised you would…
Darryl: I told you why…we didn’t get back till late and I thought that you would have been asleep and I didn’t want to wake you
Axel: (pushes himself up) Do you think I’m stupid Darryl…for gods sake you know full well that I would be waiting up for you?
Darryl: (Sits up) Why don’t you trust me? I’ve told you that nothing happened, so why don’t we just drop the whole thing?
Axel: (rolls his eyes) OH I don’t know maybe because you have lied to everyone in the tribe acting like your straight

(Darryl pushes himself off the bed, looking like he is about to break down in tears)

Darryl: (Shocked) I can’t believe you just said that…you know what I’m going thought
Axel: Get over yourself Darryl!

(Axel turns away from Darryl and storms out of Darryl’s room ensuring that he slammed the door shut)

Darryl: Axel?

[Axel lets his body drop back onto his bed where he crawls into a ball. Camera cuts to next scene]

Scene 3

[Camera cuts from previous scene to the burnt out building which used to be the Mallrats home. A young guy in travelling clothes and a rucksack at his feet stares at the building in awe. He bends down and picks up a burnt out doll he handles it with care before throwing it through the burnt out doorway.] (The young man picks up his bag and slings it over his shoulder turning to the nearest person, who happens to be a member of the Freedom Fighters)

Young Man: (Reaches out to the stranger) Excuse me but could you tell me what happened here?
Freedom Fighter: (Nods) Someone set a bomb off which destroyed the building?
Young Man: (Concern) Oh god I hope no one lived here or got hurt?
Freedom Fighter: Yea a tribe called the Mallrats used to call it home and were having a party when the bomb was set off
Young man: Did anyone survive?
Freedom Fighter: (Nods again) Yea a lot of people survived but a lot of people did die in the explosion…the Mallrats lost three of their members along with other members of other tribes…
Young man: How sad…
Freedom fighter: It’s not all that bad, the Mallrats have a new home, the old Airport and we will always remember those that died that day as it was also the people of the city got their freedom back, thanks to the Mallrats.
Young Man: (Smiles) Well that’s good…thanks for the information!

[The freedom fighter nods and sets back the way he was going. The young man looks up at the school one more time before he sets off towards the Airport]

Scene 4

[Scene fades in to Patsy sitting on the tarmac at the airport. She places her hands on the hot ground, thankful for the silence.]

[As Patsy lies there, KC walks through the double doors and spots Patsy. He walks over to her and sits next to her placing his hand over hers.]

KC: What are you thinking?
Patsy: Numerous things really.
KC: What?
Patsy: Life really.
KC: That’s an odd thing to think about

[Patsy sighs and leans into KC. KC places an arm around her.]

Patsy: I was thinking about how quickly life changes now.
KC: Unpredictable
Patsy: Yeah exactly.
KC: It’s settled down a little bit now.
Patsy: Yeah I know but it’s just that what I feel right now is so uncertain.

[KC looks down at Patsy and looks at her puzzled.]

Patsy: What I mean is... Everything in my life is so uncertain, except for you.
KC: Pats...
Patsy: (interrupting) No wait let me finish! I do love you, but I love where we are at the moment. I don’t want to change that right now.
KC: Oh I see where you’re going with this.
Patsy: Nothing has to change
KC: Yeah I know. I want to be with you Pats but if you want to wait... that’s fine

[Patsy throws her arms around KC]

KC: I love you
Patsy: I love you too.

[Camera pulls out then fades to black.]

Scene 5

[Apollo is working on a small memory chip.]

[Apollo is so engrossed by his work that he doesn’t notice Jack approaching from his room.]

[Jack peers over Apollo’s shoulder.]

Jack: You know, if you tweaked that part a little bit to the left, it may just recalibrate.

[Apollo quickly hides the memory chip.]

Apollo: Jeeze Jack, don’t scare me
Jack: (laughing) sorry
Apollo: I don’t really show anyone my work.
Jack: Why not?
Apollo: It doesn’t really go with the image, you know?
Jack: There is nothing wrong with expanding and exploring new things.

[Apollo looks down at the ground and shifts weight a little.]

Apollo: I don’t mean to sound totally out there and crass but I’m actually really intelligent
Jack: And you cover it up right?
Apollo: Yeah. The Modes didn’t really like the book smarts.
Jack: But you’re not with the Modes anymore are you?
Apollo: Well no but...
Jack: But nothing. Apollo we’re not going to hate you just because you’re smart.
Apollo: I guess not...
Jack: Just be yourself
Apollo: I suppose. I’ve never really given that a shot

[Apollo smiles at Jack and Jack places his hand on Apollo’s shoulder.]

Scene 6

[Camera fades into the following scene were we find Cloe sitting in front of her mirror, still wearing the clothes she was wearing the night before. Cloe finds it hard to concentrate on her own reflection still drunk from the night before. Cloe picks up a wet wipe and starts to wipe away her tribal markings]

Cloe: (talking to herself) Trust you Cloe…trust you to fall for a gay guy.

(Cloe quickly covers her mouth as a wave of sickness travels through her)

Cloe: I bet they are both sat there…kissing each other…laughing about me…thinking how funny is to play a trick on a single straight girl…

(Cloe picks up one of the empty boxes on the floor and we hear the sound of vomit feeling the screen. Cloe sits up again wiping her mouth with the back of her hand)

Cloe: We’ll see who has the laugh…last laugh boys…when I let your dirty secret slip out and then the whole tribe will know what’s going on between your doors.

[Cloe once again turns away from the screen as another wave of sickness hits her. The camera slowly fades to back]

Scene 7

[Amber and Bray are outside enjoying the sun watching Bray Jr play in a nearby field.]

[Amber stretches back and lies down.]

[Bray sits on the ground looking out in the far distance]

Amber: Just relax for a little bit.
Bray: I can’t help it.

[Bray Jr runs over and hold out a flower in his hand. He places it on Amber’s stomach and runs away again. Amber giggles with delight.]

Amber: He is growing up so fast.
Bray: Yeah I know.
Amber: He’s becoming more and more like you everyday
Bray: What giving and generous?
Amber: Yeah but also a little bit reserved. I know that the tribe is stressing you out.
Bray: There are just so many things to consider.
Amber: You should relax and have fun. Look at Junior. He doesn’t have a care in the world
Bray: It’s easier when you’re that age
Amber: Bray please, for me, stop worrying all the time. You’ll miss life.
Bray: This is life.
Amber: Not if you don’t want it to be.

[Amber places the flower from Bray Jr in Bray’s hand. Bray smiles down at the flower as the scene fades to black.]

Scene 8

[Camera cuts from previous scene to Gel’s privet Jet. Sitting behind a table wearing an apron is Phoenix who is chopping up vegetables, every now and then he would swear out in pain as he hits his fingers instead of the vegetables]

(Camera pans around to show an amused Apollo standing by the door)

Apollo: What are you doing Phoenix?

(Phoenix cries out in pain again as he looks up in shock and cuts his finger)

Phoenix: (Angry) Apollo?
Apollo: (scratches the back of his neck) Sorry bro!

(Apollo strolls over to his brother, taking the older guys hand into his own. He then picks up a tea towel and wraps it around his brother’s hand trying to stop the bleeding)

Apollo: (Smiling) But I repeat what are you doing?
Phoenix: I’m trying to cook a romantic meal for Gel what does it look like?
Apollo: (Raises an eyebrow) To be honest it looks worse then the Chosen’s “special” soap!
Phoenix: (Shocked) Really…really, really?
Apollo: (Nods) Yes really!

(Phoenix looks around the jet realising he has made it a tip)

Phoenix: (Covers his face) Gel is going to kill me when she see’s this mess
Apollo: (Nudges his older brother) It’s lucky you got me to help you isn’t it?
Phoenix: (looks up) Really…really…
Apollo: (rolls his eyes) Yes really! Your going to tidy up your mess and I’m going to try and save your dinner…if that’s ok with you?
Phoenix: (nods) Sure!

[The camera pans out as the boys start to sort out the mess which Phoenix has created before fading to black]

Scene 9

[Camera fades in from black to show Tai-san sitting in her room, she is sitting cross legged on the floor, with her hands resting on her knees, as she sighs and opens her eyes[

Tai-san: This use to be so easy to do, just close your eyes, breathe and concentrate…

(Tai-san sighs and closes her eyes, as she hums softly to herself, in an attempt to get into a meditative state)

[The camera focuses on Tai-san for several minutes before fading to the next scene.]

Scene 10

[Amber and Bray are still outside of the airport taking some time out from the rest of the tribe.]

[A strange figure in the distance appears and starts walking towards them.]

Amber: Bray do you see that?
Bray: Yeah... get Junior and stay behind me.

[Amber quickly scoops up Bray Jr, who was playing in a nearby field and quickly stands next to Bray. Bray tries to gently push Amber behind him but she stands firm beside him.]

[The figure reaches the couple. Both Bray and Amber stare at the mysterious figure without flinching.]

Caleb: Hi, are you the Mallrats?
Bray: Who’s asking?
Caleb: My name’s Caleb.
Amber: And what’s your business Caleb?
Caleb: Woah, easy guys. I’m just a traveller. I heard that you guys were the nice tribe around here and was wondering if I could crash for a few nights. I didn’t think it would be anything major. Plus I heard what you did with the Krul and to be honest was AWESOME!

[Bray gives Amber a sidelong glance. Amber shrugs her shoulders.]

Bray: Ok slow down. It’s ok with me and Amber but don’t screw us around.
Caleb: I wouldn’t dream of it, especially when I know what you guys are capable of.
Amber: Ok well I guess we better introduce you to everyone.

[Scene fades.]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black to show Darryl sat in his new bedroom, everything has been unpacked, the walls are covered in pictures which Darryl has drawn since the explosion as the rest burnt in the fire. Darryl is sitting on his bed flicking through one of his art pads until he finds a picture of Axel who is smiling up at him]

Darryl: (Shakes his head) What is going through your head, I thought we were perfect for each other…so I went on one little date , which didn’t mean anything and sure I’ve been lying about my sexuality but it’s not because I’m ashamed of you…I’m just not ready…and I can’t believe I’m sat here actually talking to my self out loud.

(Darryl pushes himself up from the bed as he rips the picture of Axel out of the pad. He throws the pad onto the bed as he makes his way towards the door before he pulls out a ball of blue tack from his pocket)

(Darryl pulls three small pieces of the blue tack off and puts them at the back of the picture before he sticks the picture of Axel onto the door…the only picture to be put on the door)

Darryl: Please come back to me!

[Camera zooms into the picture of Axel before cutting to black]

Scene 12

[Cass and Ryan are sitting in the lounge along with the twins, KC and Patsy, Cass is trying to feed Kacie, but the baby is fidgeting and Cass is getting annoyed. As she looks up, she sees Caleb and Amber walking along past the entrance to the lounge]

Cass: I don’t see why he’s here!
Ryan (frowns): Who?

(Cass motions to where Caleb and Amber are standing across the hallway)

Ryan: What Caleb?
Cass: Yeah... him!
Ryan: He’s only looking for a bed for a few nights!
Cass: Why can’t he sleep outside?
Ryan: Cass!
Cass: Don’t Cass me! I’m being serious!

(Ryan frowns and hands Jake to Patsy)

Ryan: Would you guys mind?
Patsy (shakes her head): Of course not, come on KC!

(KC and Patsy leave, as Ryan sits down next to Cass)

Cass: Why’d you do that?
Ryan: What?
Cass: Ask Patsy and KC to leave, as if you were going to give me a talking to!
Ryan: Oh come on Cass, it’s not like that, you were obviously pissed off about something, whether it be Caleb or something else, I don’t know, and I just asked if they could give us a moment, what’s so bad about that?
Cass: You don’t get it!
Ryan: Well yeah!
Cass: We have two young children, why does Caleb have to be here? We don’t know anything about him, he could hurt the children!
Ryan: Oh…
Cass: Don’t you see where I’m coming from!
Ryan: Of course, I do Cass, but it’s always been the Mallrats way, to help those that need it!
Cass: Well I hope for our children’s sake that he’s not some kind of nutter!

[Ryan sighs sadly, as the camera fades and cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 13

[Camera cuts in from previous scene to show Gel and Axel lying next to each other on Axel’s bed in silence]

Gel: (rolls her eyes) You know this used to be more fun when you know we used to actually talk to each other.

(Axel looks over at her and gives her a small shrug before looking back at the ceiling)

Gel: Come on Axel, what is the matter?
Axel: Darryl…he did something that really ticked me off and we kinda how an argument and then I stormed off?
Gel: (Not really surprised) Oh…really and what was it about?

(Camera pans out as Axel starts to explain to Gel about Darryl’s little date with Cloe. Gel pays attention to everything Axel is saying, putting in the right facial expression when needed. When Axel has finished the two sit in silence for a couple of minutes again)

Gel: Do you really believe that Darryl would do anything with Cloe?
Axel: (Lets out a sigh) No of course he wouldn’t…but its not the point…he still went on the date, he still couldn’t tell that he was seeing someone else
Gel: And I guess it was plan sailing when you came out was it?
Axel: Mehhh…no but..
Gel: Well you should know what he is going through…you should be supporting him not rushing him into something he isn’t ready to do?

(Axel is lot for words and he lets out another sigh)

Axel: When did you become the smart one out of the two of us?
Gel: (Flicks her hair) Well to be honest I was just playing dumb to make you feel good about the fact you really aren’t as smart as you think you are?
Axel: (Raises an eyebrow and puts on a high voice) Like totally

(the two break into a fit of laughter before Axel pulls his friend into a hug)

Axel: You’re the best girl
Gel: (Smirks) Like duh!

[The two break into laughter again as the camera fades to black]

Scene 14

[The camera fades in from black, the camera then pans around to show Trudy, she is slumped on the floor, her eyes open slowly. Trudy’s hands are behind her back, the camera pans 360 degrees around her to show that she is tied to a pole. She struggles to free her bound hands as the camera comes back around to the front.]

Trudy (shouts): Let me go! Whoever you are… let me go!

(Trudy struggles again to untie her hands. The camera pans around to in front of Trudy, aimed at the ground as a pair of feet enter the screen, and the camera moves up to show a dark haired girl in front of her)

Enola: Don’t bother trying to escape, you won’t get far!
Trudy: Why are you keeping me here?
Enola: Because you were trespassing!
Trudy: Who are you?

(The girls steps away from Trudy and smirks as she turns around)

Enola: Name’s Enola… you, you’re a prisoner of the Trojans, enjoy your stay!

(Enola walks off as Trudy yells after her)

Trudy (yells): LET ME GO!

[The camera pans to show Trudy’s scared face before fading to black.]

Scene 15

[Salene and May are in their room. Salene is holding baby Oscar while May is on the bed trying to get some sleep.]

May: Can you put Oscar down for a little while and come to bed?
Salene: But he isn’t tired yet...
May: (interrupting) Salene, his eyes have been drooping for the past half an hour. Just let him fall asleep.
Salene: He’s just so perfect. I don’t want to stop watching him.
May: You just hit the nail right on the head.
Salene: What?

[May jumps up from the bed.]

May: You heard me. I never see you anymore Sal
Salene: You’re watching me right now
May: You know that’s not what I mean.
Salene: I don’t understand why you’re not happy May
May: Because you’ve changed Sal, changed for the worst.
Salene: How dare you...
May: (angry) You know what, I don’t care. I’m sleeping in the spare room tonight.

[May gets up and walks out the room.]

[Salene shrugs her shoulders and returns her attention to baby Oscar.]

[Scene fades to black.]

Scene 16

[The camera fades in from black to the sound of raised voices and two people screaming. The two people turn out to be Phoenix and Apollo who are running back and forth in Gel’s private jet while the camp stove which Phoenix decided to cook his romantic meal on has caught fire.]

(Apollo stops in his tracks and scans the jet)

Apollo: (Starting to calm down) there must be something in here to put the fire out?
Phoenix: (Throwing ideas out) Towel? Umm we throw it out the window together…

(Apollo isn’t paying any attention to his brother but disappears into the cock pit)

Apollo: (Cries OS) AH HA

(Apollo soon rushes back onto screen with a fire extinguisher, he quickly turns his attention back to the fire and aims the extinguisher at it…putting the fire out)

Phoenix: (Smiles) Thank god
Apollo: (Raises an eyebrow) A fat lot of help you was?
Phoenix: (Smiles) I added the panic and the screaming to the situation which is always important…
Apollo: (Unsure) Uh ha

(Phoenix goes to expect the dinner but it has totally been destroyed)

Phoenix: (Groans) Please help me tidy the place up again before Gel gets back?
Apollo: Do I have a choice

(Phoenix thinks for a second before shaking his head)

Phoenix: NO not really!

(Camera pans out as both boys set out to re-tidy the jet before Gel returns. Camera cuts to next scene)

Scene 17

[Bray Jr and Brady are playing in the Airport lounge being watched by Gel.]

[Gel has rearranged the lounge chairs to resemble a fort.]

Gel: (to Bray Jr and Brady) I sense someone coming. Man your stations.

[Bray Jr and Brady immediately crawl through the tunnel of chairs and sit down.]

Gel: Alright... one... two... three... NOW!

[Bray Jr and Brady pop up and start throwing small rubber balls and tennis balls.]

[A bewildered Bray stands in the doorway and immediately ducks out of the way.]

Bray: Wow you almost got me.
Gel: Enemy sighted!
Brady: He’s fast!
Gel: get ready for round two.

[Bray climbs over the fort of lounge chairs and scoops up Bray Jr.]

Gel: The enemy have taken a hostage.
Brady: Get him!
Bray: (to Bray Jr) You don’t mind getting caught do you?

[Bray Jr giggles.]

Bray: Alright guys, if you don’t mind me taking the hostage away, I’d like to spend some time with him.
Brady: hmmm
Gel: Well as Commander I release him to you as long as he remains unscathed.
Brady: What’s unscathed?
Bray: Thanks Commander.

[Bray walks out with Bray Jr in his arms.]

Bray: So buddy, feel like catching up on some quality time?

[Bray Jr nods his head.]

Bray: (laughing) Good. Cause mummy isn’t going to find us.

[Bray Jr claps his hands in excitement.]

[Scene fades to black.]

Scene 18

[KC and Patsy are in the meeting room.]

[KC drags Patsy to a seat and sits down next to her.]

Patsy: why did you bring me in here?
KC: Cause I wanted to talk to you.
Patsy: Sounds serious. Is there anything wrong?
KC: No not really just I wanted to give you something.
Patsy: (surprised) KC, you don’t have to give me anything.
KC: but I want to

[KC produces a box from his pocket.]

Patsy: What is it?
KC: Open it.

[Pasty slowly lifts the lid of the box.]

Patsy: Oh my god, it’s a ring!
KC: Now don’t get all excited.
Patsy: But what does this mean?
KC: Not what you think I’m sure.

[Patsy stares at the ring in the box.]

KC: It’s an eternity ring. I wanted to give it to you to show that I will wait for you forever. Even until I die.
Patsy: Wow... I don’t know what to say.
KC: Please say you’ll wear it.
Patsy: Do I have to put it on myself?

[KC laughs]

KC: No, I can do that.

[KC slowly slides the ring onto Patsy’s ring finger. Patsy beams up at him and then lunges into his arms for a hug. KC holds her tight as the camera pulls away from the couple and then fades to black]

Scene 19

[Camera cuts in from the previous scene, to show Ryan, Patsy, Amber and May sitting in the café, all of them are drinking coffee and chatting amongst themselves]

Amber: Good coffee, Ryan!
Ryan: I’m here to please!

(The Mallrats laugh to themselves, when Brady comes running in the room)

May: Brady, what are you doing?
Brady: Playing!

(Darryl comes running into the room, grabbing Brady as she laughs)

Amber: Playing games again Darryl?
Darryl: Yeah, she’s being a little monkey!
Brady: Monkey!
Ryan: Isn’t Trudy watching Brady?
Darryl (shakes her head); No… she’s not back.
Ryan: Still? Hasn’t she been gone an awful long time?
Amber; No… it’s not that long!
Ryan: It’s a couple of weeks… that’s a long time for Trudy!

(The Mallrats look at each other)

Amber: Has it been that long? I didn’t realise, I’ve been so busy…
Patsy: We all have!
Ryan: Do you think… something could have happened?
Amber: Don’t be silly, Trudy can take care of herself!
May: Yeah…

[Ryan glances at Patsy and May, doubt written all over his face as the camera pans back around to show a worried looking Darryl before camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 20

[Ebony is sitting on her bed; arms crossed as she stares into space, Dreamer knocks as she pushes open the ajar door, and steps into the room.]

Dreamer: Eb’s?

(Ebony glances up and smiles weakly)

Ebony: Did you want something?
Dreamer: More the opposite… I was seeing if you wanted some help… maybe wanted to talk.
Ebony: That would be nice…

(Ebony picks up the pregnancy test and hands it to Dreamer)

Dreamer: Positive?
Ebony (nods): I’m pregnant!
Dreamer (looks worried): Oh… um, what did you… I mean…
Ebony: What am I going to do about it?
Dreamer: Yeah… you have options you know…
Ebony: Like what… it’s not like there’s a clinic down the road that I can go to, to deal with it… post apocalyptic world’s don’t tend to leave one with a lot of options.
Dreamer: There are still a lot of options… I can help you, with whatever you decide
Ebony (sighs): Okay… but I don’t know… I just don’t know what I want to do…

[Dreamer looks at Ebony and smiles weakly, she puts her hand on Ebony’s shoulder and squeezes reassuringly before the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 21

[Lottie and Sammy are gathered together in Lottie’s room.]

Lottie: (crying) I don’t know what to do.
Sammy: We’ll figure it out Lottie.
Lottie: I made a huge mistake.
Sammy: We can find a way to bring it all back together.
Lottie: I want my son back.
Sammy: (hugging Lottie) I know. I know.

[Sammy and Lottie hold each other as Lottie’s sobs fill the room.]

Scene 22

[Camera fades in from black, from the previous scene to show the Mallrats gathered in the airport lobby area for the ceremony for Lex and Tai-san. The Mallrats are seated in a semi circle around Lex and Tai-san, as Amber leads the ceremony. ]

Amber: We are gathered here today, to witness Lex and Tai-san pledging their love and loyalty to each other, again!

(The Mallrats applaud as Lex takes a bow)

Amber: Lex, would you like to start?
Lex (nods): Yeah… (Takes Tai-san’s hand) …Tai-san, my beautiful wife, you are the love of my life… I love you so very much; you light up my life and make me an honest man. (Tai-san sniffles as she wipes a tear away from the corner of her eye)

Amber (coughs): That was beautiful Lex…
Lex (winks): Didn’t think I had it in me, huh?
Amber: Um… Tai-san?

(Tai-san takes a deep breath)

Tai-san: Lex… everything you have said, I echo, you complete me, more than words will ever say, you have given me love that I never even knew existed and I will always love you, every day and every night. And I want to thank you as well…

(Tai-san pauses for several minutes, as several of the Mallrats look at each other confused about the interruption)

Lex (frowns): Tai?

(Tai-san sighs as she takes Lex’s hand that she is holding as she steps closer to Lex and places his hand on her abdomen)

Tai-san: …I want to thank you for the love that created our child that I’m carrying.
Lex (gulps): Huh?
Tai-san: We’re having a baby Lex…
Lex (looks panicked): We are?
Tai-san: Yes…

[The camera pans around to show Lex looking shocked, before panning out to show Lex and Tai-san embracing as the camera fades to black.]

Scene 23

[Camera fades in from black the sound from the party dying out to be replaced by the sound of someone knocking on a door. As the door opens up we see Axel and Darryl standing on either side of the door way. Darryl lets out a sign and allows Axel to walk in. JOHN BARROWMAN - WHAT ABOUT US plays through this scene]

Guess we been talking too long
We know what we need
Separately...

Axel: Darryl…I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been so rash!

(Darryl shrugs his shoulders as he closes the door and walks towards his bed)

You say the honeymoon's over
I don't wanna push
But what about us?

Darryl: (Near tears) You really hurt me with what you said? I thought we were going to last?
Axel: (Trying to hold back his own tears) I’m sorry…Darryl please forgive me?

It's ringing in my head
It's not what you say
It's what you have said

(Darryl shrugs his shoulders as Axel closes the gap between them)

So, What about us?
What about love?
What about saying
That we'll never give up?
Don't want to blame ya
But we're in danger
So... What about us?

(Axel reaches out his hands for Darryl, which Darryl accepts. Axel pulls his lover closer and places a small kiss on Darryl’s forehead)

Axel: (Whispers) I’m really sorry!

Guess we been trying too hard
We misunderstood
What's good for us
I'm tired emotionally inside
Night after night
We fight till we cry

Darryl: (Softly) I forgive you…

(Axel throws his arms around Darryl and kisses him full of passion.)

I don't know what's wrong or right?
Is every word you say
What's really on your mind?

(As the kiss deepens, Axel slowly backs Darryl backwards until the back of his legs hit the bed. A small smile spread’s across Axel’s lips as he lowers Darryl onto the bed)

So... What about us?
What about love?

[The song slowly starts to die out as the two boys start to undress each other. The camera then fades to black.

Scene 24

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show darkness, the camera pans into the room and moves over the sleeping figure of Brady. ]

[The camera pans around and a figure is seen in the doorway, as the figure steps nearer the camera zooms to his face and we see that it is the newcomer, Caleb]

Caleb (whispers): Soon!

[The camera zooms to Caleb’s face and cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 25

[Camera fades in from black to show Trudy sitting still tied to the pole, she is slumped in an awkward position where she has fallen asleep, and footsteps can be heard off screen, as Trudy is startled awake and groans when she tries to pull her hands forward.]

OV: Wake up!

(Trudy groans as she shakes her head to move her hair from out of her face, blinks several times and focuses on the person in front of her)

Trudy (gasps): Oh my god… it’s you!

[Camera focuses on Trudy’s shocked face and then fades to black.]
