Scene 1
[Camera cuts to the end of the previous episode, where the camera fades in from black to show Trudy sitting still tied to the pole, she is slumped in an awkward position where she has fallen asleep, and footsteps can be heard off screen, as Trudy is startled awake and groans when she tries to pull her hands forward.]
OV: Wake up!
(Trudy groans as she shakes her head to move her hair from out of her face, blinks several times and focuses on the person in front of her)
Trudy (gasps): Oh my god… it’s you!
(Camera focuses on Trudy’s shocked face and then fades to black.)
(The camera then fades in from black to show Trudy tied to the post and pans around to the mystery person, a figure from the past)
Calli: Do I know you?
Trudy: Danni?
Calli (shakes her head): I’m not Danni… my name is Calli… who are you?
(Footsteps can be heard approaching the outside of the tent, as the sounds of the zip opens up)
OV: Her name is Trudy… she’s one of the Mallrats!
(Camera pans around to show the mystery voice is from another old face)
Trudy (shocked): Slade?
[Slade nods as the camera pans from Trudy to Slade, to Calli and to black.]
Scene 2
[Camera fades in from the last scene to show several groups of Mallrats sat around table’s eating their breakfast. Camera zooms in on one table to show Alice, Caleb, Apollo and Phoenix finishing their breakfasts off while listening to Caleb]
Apollo: (with mouth full of cereal) Sound’s really interesting
Alice: (Raises an eyebrow) you eat worse then the pigs back at my farm and Lex put together.
Apollo: (Smirks) Why thank you!
(Caleb looks up at Alice with interest)
Caleb: You used to own a farm…
(Alice nods)
Caleb: (Cont) I stayed with this tribe once who owned a farm…I don’t think I’ve ever worked so hard in my live, farms really know how to make a living for themselves…do you miss your farm, Alice?
(As Alice starts to explain to Caleb about her farm, Camera pans out to show Gel strolling over to the table and wrapping her arms around Phoenix’s neck. Phoenix smiles and pushes himself away from the table, he takes Gel’s hand and the couple walk towards the exit)
Alice: …it was hard work but it wasn’t something I would give up by choice….
Apollo: (cuts in) Well this is really interesting hearing about your past lives guys, but I really gotta go because….
(Apollo isn’t able to think of a reason so he gives them a sly smile and a shrug before running off)
Alice: (After a beat) So after you stayed at the farm where did you go from there?
[Camera pans out as Caleb tells Alice of his adventures before fading to black]
Scene 3
[The camera fades in from black to show the Mallrats sitting in the meeting room. Amber is attempting to get the attention of the Mallrats, but is not having much luck as the rest of the tribe talk amongst herself. In order to get attention, Amber throws a plate against the wall. The camera pans from her angry face, around the Mallrats as they fall silent before falling to Bray.]
Bray: Um, Amber... that was a little extreme...
Amber (shrugs): Yeah well... no one was listening...
(The camera pans around the Mallrats and lands on Lex’s face.]
Lex: That time of the month Amber?
(Amber glares at Lex as Tai-san hits him)
Amber: Get over yourself Lex...
(Lex shrugs)
Bray: Well we’re here for something quite serious... as many of you know. Trudy still hasn’t returned, and she’s been gone for over 4 weeks now.
Lex: So?!
Amber: So... we need to do something to get her back...
Lex: Um one problem with that plan!
Amber: What’s that?
(Lex smirks)
Lex: We don’t actually know where she was going!
Amber: So!
Lex: What are we supposed to do.. scour the entire countryside... come on Amber... it is unrealistic and we don’t have enough people!
[Amber slumps back into her hair in a huff as Bray glances at her sadly, Lax and KC smirk at each other as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 4
[Camera fades in from black to show Cloe sat by herself at the breakfast bar, her bowl of cereal sits in front of her untouched. While in her hand she twists the spoon between her figures. Camera pans out to show Patsy and KC walk past hand in hand, KC nudges Patsy and points to Cloe. They both stare at Cloe's back for a second before Patsy indicates KC to go. Patsy makes her way towards the breakfast bar]
Patsy: (Smiles) This seat taken?
(Cloe doesn’t reply and continues to play with her spoon)
Patsy: (Concerned) Cloe?
(Patsy places a friendly hand on Cloe’s back as she pushes herself up onto the stall. Cloe finally looks up and gives Patsy a small smile)
Patsy: I’m guessing your date with Darryl didn’t go as planned?
Cloe: (rolls her eyes) That’s an understatement, if there ever was one!
Patsy: OH no…was it really that bad?
Cloe: (Shrugs her shoulders) The date started well and it was all good until he told me I wasn’t his type!
Patsy: (Raises her eyebrow) What do you mean not your type? What’s wrong with you? You’re stunning Cloe!
Cloe: As in he would of rather gone on a date with Lex then me?
Patsy: (Confused) Lex?
(The two sit in silence while Patsy goes over the information in her head. She then lets out a gasp)
Patsy: You mean Darryl…
Cloe: (Nods) Is gay!
Patsy: OH…I mean…wow…are you sure?
[Cloe nods her head and turns back to her cereal. Patsy places a kiss on Cloe’s cheek before she pushes herself up and moves away from the breakfast bar. Scene fades to black]
Scene 5
[Camera fades in from black and shows Trudy tied to a post, and Calli and Slade standing over her]
Calli: You know her then Slade?
Slade (nods): Yeah… she’s not a threat… she’s from the Mallrats!
Calli: And who are these Mallrats?
Slade: My old tribe… let’s step outside, shall we?
(Calli nods, as Slade winks at Trudy and the camera follows Calli and Slade outside of the tent)
Calli: So… you know her well then?
Slade (rolls his eyes): It’s not what you think… she’s a friend…
(Calli nods dubiously as Enola appears from the trees)
Enola: So what are you going to do with the prisoner?
Calli: Not a lot, Slade knows her.
Enola: So! She could be a spy!
Slade: I can vouch for her, she’s not a spy!
Enola: And who are you!
Slade; Enola… don’t start this crap with me again!
(Enola crosses her arms and glares at Slade)
Slade: She’s a mother, she has a young daughter and is a member of a peaceful tribe…
(Calli nods and digests the information)
Calli: She seems to know me… I’m interested to learn more!
Enola: But she could be a spy!
Slade: Get over yourself Enola… she’s no more a spy than I am!
Enola: You could be a spy for all I know !
Calli (angrily): Enola!
[Enola storms off as Slade rolls his eyes at Calli who nods and leaves at the camera fades to black.]
Scene 6
[Camera cuts in to show Tai-san sitting in the lounge; she sits by herself, staring into a cup of herbal tea, when there is a knock at the door. Tai-san looks up at the knock and smiles weakly when she sees that it’s Lex.]
Lex (leans against the door): Can I come in?
Tai-san (nods): It’s a free world…
Lex: Have I done something to piss you off?
Tai-san (sighs): Not really… it’s just…
(Lex walks in and takes a seat opposite Tai-san)
Lex: Just what?
Tai-san: Your face… when I told you about the baby… you seemed…
Lex: …surprised?
Tai-san: That’s not really what it looked like..
Lex: …what did I look like then?
Tai-san: You looked at me like I was an alien and that I’d just told you I was a clone of Zoot’s and come back to rule the planet…
(Lex sighs and puts his head in his hands)
Lex: Well I’m sorry, I never meant for it to come across that way… I was shocked, can’t you understand that?
Tai-san (nods): Yeah… it was a shock for me when I found out…
Lex: And when was that’?
Tai-san: When was what?
Lex: When did you find out, I mean how pregnant are you?
(Tai-san takes a deep breath, knowing that Lex would react badly to the news)
Tai-san (whispers quietly): 5 months…
Lex (frowns): Sorry, I didn’t hear that!
Tai-san: I said… 5 months!
(Lex recoils and looks shocked)
Lex: Five months, you knew that you’ve been pregnant for five months and you didn’t tell me?
Tai-san: I’m sorry…
(Lex stands up and shakes his head before he steps back)
Lex: I don’t know you…
Tai-san: Lex… you do know me, I’m your wife!
Lex (shakes his head): No… I can’t…
[Lex looks back at Tai-san in disgust before he leaves the room, leaving a sad and depressed looking Tai-san behind as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 7
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Amber sitting in her room, she is sat on the bed, her knees up to her chest as she sighs deeply]
Amber: Where are you Trudy? I know you’d never leave Brady alone. I’m worried.... really worried.
(Amber sits staring into space for the longest time)
Amber (Whispers): I wonder...
(Amber starts to bite at her nails in frustration)
Amber: ...dare I try to find you by myself?
[The camera zooms into Amber’s confused face before fading to black.]
Scene 8
[Camera fades in to show Trudy’s hands have been released from the pole and the camera pans out to show her stretching out her arms.]
Trudy: Thanks for untying me; I was beginning to think I might be a prisoner for a long time…
Slade (shrugs): No problem… it’s not like you’re a threat Trudy… I know you!
(
Trudy smiles weakly at Slade)
Trudy: I didn’t expect to see you any time soon…
Slade (frowns): It’s a small world…
(Trudy smiles weakly and then bursts into tears, as Slade reaches out and puts his arm around her, causing Trudy to collapse into his arms and sob for a few minutes)
Trudy (sniffles): I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have…
Slade: It’s okay… do you wanna tell me what that was all about?
Trudy (sighs sadly): So much has happened… so much…
Slade: Like what?
(Trudy sighs as she wipes her eyes and flattens her hair some)
Trudy: The school was blown up!
Slade (shocked): What!?
Trudy (nods): Yeah… and, some of the tribe… some of them died!
(Slade looks at Trudy and searches her eyes for the answers)
Slade: Eric?
Trudy (nods): Yeah…
Slade (broken): Ruby?
[Trudy nods as Slade sighs sadly and turns away from Trudy as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 9
[Camera cuts to the next scene. Darryl steps out of the bathroom wearing just his trousers and with a towel drapped over his shoulder, his wet hair sticking to his forehead. Camera follows him as he makes his way to his room. Darryl steps into his room to find Patsy sat on his bed looking through one of his art pads]
(Darryl lets out a small cough to get Patsy’s attention, Patsy quickly drops the art pad onto the bed and gives Darryl a smile)
Darryl: (raises an eyebrow) Is there something I can help you with Pats?
Patsy: (smiles) Just came in for a chat…
(Patsy pats the space next to her on his bed. Darryl makes his way towards the bed, on his way he picks up a shirt hanging on the back of a chair and quickly pulls it on before sitting down)
Patsy: (In a soft voice) I just want you to know Darryl that I’m here for you when ever you are ready to tell everyone else…
Darryl: (Confused) Everyone else what?
(Patsy takes Darryl’s hands into her own)
Patsy: It will be ok Darryl…your secret is save with me?
Darryl: What Secret?
Patsy: (Whispers) That your gay!
(Darryl quickly pulls his hands away from Patsy’s and stands up)
Darryl: (shakes his head) Cloe told you didn’t she?
Patsy: (nods) so its true then you are gay?
Darryl: (Getting angry) If I’m gay or not, it is none of yours and Cloe’s business, and she had no right to say anything to you!
(Patsy stands up, shocked at his reaction)
Patsy: Darryl!
Darryl: (Shouts) Get out?
Patsy: But…
Darryl: I said out!
[Patsy shakes her head and quickly storms out of Darryl’s room ensuring to slam the door behind her. Darryl lets his body drop back onto the bed and lets out a sign. Scene fades to black]
Scene 10
[Camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Calli sitting by the fire, as Trudy walks out of the tent and walks over to where Calli is]
Trudy: Do you mind if I sit down?
Calli (nods): Sure
Trudy: Thanks. I just wanted to say thank you for early on… for letting me go.
Calli (smiles): Any friend of Slade’s is a friend of mine…
Trudy: Are you and him… together?
Calli (laughs): Me and Slade? Absolutely not… he’s like my big brother!
(Trudy blushes bright red)
Trudy: I must have picked up on the wrong vibes…
Calli: It’s an easy mistake to make… so, you were saying that you thought you knew me?
Trudy (nods): Yeah… I mean, you look exactly like someone I use to know...
Calli: Tell me about her!
Trudy: Danni? Well I mean, she disappeared almost 4 years ago now, she was a member of my tribe, the Mallrats when a crazy tribe, the Chosen were in power… she was one of the leaders and we never knew what happened to her…
Calli: Sounds bad…
Trudy: It was a bad time… for everyone!
Calli: I see…
Trudy: So what’s your history… I mean, you’re not Danni…
Calli: There’s not much to tell really, I’m the leader of the Trojans, my life’s been pretty uneventful, but it’s not something I like to talk about… would you excuse me?
Trudy (nods): Yeah, of course…
(Trudy looks over her shoulder as Calli leaves rather abruptly)
Trudy (whispers to herself): Something I said?
[Camera zooms to Trudy’s face and then fades to black.]
Scene 11
[Camera pans in to show Alice wandering through the airport, before she stops to stands in the lobby and looks around, and her eyes come to rest on Caleb in the breakfast bar. As she walks closer to him, the camera pans around to show Caleb, he is sitting on the floor on his knees and Alice raises an eyebrow as she gets closer.]
Alice: Oh, sorry… I didn’t mean to interrupt…
(Caleb looks up from his kneeling position)
Caleb: It’s okay… I was nearly done…
Alice: It’s fine… I’ll um, see you later…
(Alice makes a prompt escape, glancing over her shoulder at Caleb as she leaves the breakfast bar)
Alice: I hate men who pray… don’t want the competition from the relationship!
[Alice shudders and the camera cuts to black.]
Scene 12
[Camera fades in from the last scene to show Sammy and Lottie walking hand in hand down one of the runways. Lottie stares out into the distance causing Sammy to look on at her in concern]
Sammy: You’re thinking about Oscar aren’t you?
Lottie: (turns to face Sammy) How can I not think about him?
(Sammy nods and leads Lottie to an old luggage cart before sitting down and pulling her onto his lap)
Sammy: I know at the time you thought it was in his best interest to give Oscar up, but things have changed now, you have me, and if you thought it would be hard seeing someone else look after your son, how hard are you going to find it watching two of your closest friends bring him up in the same building as you?
(Lottie shakes her head before resting it on Sammy’s)
Lottie: I thought I would be able to cope, I knew as soon as I was pregnant that I wasn’t ready to be a mum, that he deserved someone better to bring him up and I know for a fact that Salene would do a better job then me…but he’s my son, Sammy and its breaking my heart seeing him every day and not being able to hold him and call him mine.
(Tears roll down Lottie’s check as she presses herself closer to Sammy. Sammy is turn places a small kiss on her cheek)
Sammy: Then you need to make up your mind Lottie, you could either watch May and Salene bring up Oscar as their own son, or you can leave the tribe and try and forget about him or you can ask for him back and bring him up…and yea you might not be the perfect mum but no one is…look at our own parents they left us in a broken world and yet here we are still living!
(Lottie nods at what Sammy has just to her, she pushes herself up and wipes her tears away)
Lottie: What do you think I should do?
Sammy: (Shakes his head) I don’t know Lottie, only you know…but what ever you decided I will be right by your side!
Lottie: (rubs the back of her neck) I need some time to think?
Sammy: (Nods) I understand
(Lottie moves close to him and places a small kiss on his lips before pulling away)
Lottie: (Whispers) Thank you!
[Sammy lets his head rest against the bar as Lottie sets off by herself along the runway. Camera slowly fades to black]
Scene 13
[Camera fades in from black to show Ellie sat at a small table in hers and Jacks room. The curtains have been pulled shut and candle light fills the room. Ellie looks up as Jack walks in with two plates filled with food, he places one in front of Ellie who smiles a thank you, before placing one at the other end of the table before sitting down]
Ellie: This looks amazing Jack!
Jack: (smiles) Only the best for my wife!
(Jack digs into his dinner while Ellie watches with amusement)
Ellie: (Laughing) Hungry?
Jack: (Looks up and blushes) Starving…I haven’t eaten all day, saved myself for this!
(Jack turns back to his dinner and Ellie stares down at her plate, using her fork to move the food around the plate. She puts a small amount into her mouth and slowly chews the food. Jack looks up and studies Ellie as she eats)
Jack: (Sadly) If you don’t like you don’t have to eat it hun!
Ellie: (Looks up) It’s lovely Jack…I’m just not as hungry as I thought…do you mind if I leave the rest and wait for you in bed?
(Jack shrugs his shoulders as Ellie gets up from the table and goes into their bathroom, closing the door behind her. Jack leans across the table to study Ellie’s plate closer to find that she hasn’t really touched it at all. He lets out a concerned sigh before he carries on eating his own dinner)
[Camera zooms onto Ellie’s plate before fading to black]
Scene 14
[The camera cuts from the previous scene to show Bray walking into KC and Patsy’s room. He has a strange look on his face.]
KC: Bray...
Bray: KC...
(The two men stare at each other for a few moments)
KC: Can I help you?
Bray: Yeah... I've been wanting to talk to you for a while.
KC: Yeah... about what?
Bray: About Patsy.
KC: what about her?
Bray: what are your intentions?
(KC laughs at Bray’s words. The camera pans to Bray’s deadpan face)
KC: You’re serious. You really want to know? What are you... her father.
Bray: Call me acting in her best interests.
KC: Uh huh.
Bray: So?
KC: Well I love her. That’s all you need to know.
Bray: and?
KC: that’s all I'm going to tell you. Now get lost.
(Bray glares ta KC)
Bray: Hey!
KC: What? I’m into a little kid anymore Bray. I love Patsy and I wouldn’t hurt a hair on her head and I don’t need you telling me what I can and can’t do!
Bray: okay. Calm down.
KC: I'm calm. Now leave.
(Bray stares at KC)
Bray: fine, but harm a hair on her head and I'll have you.
KC: whatever!
(Bray leaves the room)
KC: Nutter!
Bray: I heard that!
KC: You were meant to!
[The camera focuses on KC and cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 15
[Scene fades in from black to show an empty corridor within the airport, the doors at the far end are pushed opened and Darryl appears in the door way. He storms down the corridor allowing the door to slam shut behind him, sending an echo down the hall. When Darryl gets halfway down the corridor another door opens and Axel steps out causing Darryl to step back in shock]
Axel: (Smiling) Alright Darryl?
Darryl: (Lying) I’m fine?
Axel: No you’re not…come on tell me what’s the matter?
(Axel wraps his arms around Darryl’s waist and pulls him closer)
Axel: (Concerned) Are you still upset about the other day? Cause I still regret with the way I acted?
(Darryl shakes his head as he tries to hold back the tears)
Axel: (Softly) Darryl please?
Darryl: It’s Cloe! I told her that I’m gay and she promised me that she wouldn’t tell anyone and then Patsy came to see me and asked if it was true that I was gay? And soon everyone is going to be talking about me behind my back!
Axel: What a bit….
Darryl: (Cuts in) that’s where I’m going now to give her a piece of my mind.
(Axel pulls his arms away from around Darryl’s waist and gently rubs his hands up and down Darryl’s arms)
Axel: Not now your not! You need to calm down before you do something you will regret...Let’s go back to mine, I’ll help you relax!
[The boys both grin at this idea and Darryl allows Axel to led him off towards his bedroom. Scene fades to black.]
Scene 16
[Scene fades in from black to reveal that we are now at the freedom fighters base, Dreamer is sat behind her desk, with her feet up on the side and her chair pulled back while she reads her book. Someone knocks at her door, which causes her to jump, she drops her book onto the floor and nearly falls out of her chair. It takes her a couple of seconds to compose herself before she speaks]
Dreamer: Come in!
(Camera pans around to show the door opening and Ebony stepping in)
Dreamer: How can I help you Ebony?
Ebony: It’s the Mallrats
Dreamer: (rolls her eyes) What a surprise!
(Ebony shuts the door behind her and crosses the room before sitting herself on the edge of Dreamers desk)
Ebony: I don’t what them to know!
Dreamer: (Confused) About what?
(Ebony raises her eyebrows and gently taps her stomach area)
Dreamer: (Catching on) Oh I get yea…well to be honest Ebony I wasn’t planning on telling anyone and you have my word for that?
Ebony: (Smiles) Thanks Dreamer!
Dreamer: No worries
[Dreamer pushed herself up and leans across the table where she pulls Ebony into a half hug, neither girl used to the closeness of their new found friendship. Scene slowly fades into the next scene]
Scene 17
[Camera fades in from the previous scene to show Enola lying on her bed staring at the top of the tent as Calli comes walking in]
Calli: What’s your problem?
Enola (sulkily): Nothing… why?
Calli: You seemed pissed off earlier on…
Enola: I don’t like Slade sometimes… he’s a pain!
Calli (nods): Yeah… I know… but he’s right in this case!
(Enola stares up at the ceiling for a few moments before shrugging; Calli sits down as the sound of a child’s voice is heard from outside the tent)
Rain: Mummy, mummy!
(Rain comes bursting through the tent door, and falling into Enola’s arms as the younger girl laughs and hands her to Calli)
Calli: Hi sweetie!
(Rain hugs tightly to Calli as she puts her thumb in her mouth and closes her eyes to take a snooze)
Enola: She’s so cute when she does that!
Calli (nods): Yeah… wish I knew where she got it from!
Enola: You never slept like that then?
Calli (shakes her head): No…
Enola: I’m sure you’ll remember…
Calli (sighs): I hope so… even just so that I can tell her who to call daddy one day…
[Calli looks down at her daughter, brushes her hair away from her small face and then wipes a stray tear away from her face and the camera then fades to black.]
Scene 18
[Camera pans in from the black of the previous scene to show Lex sitting in the meeting room, the room is quiet and empty. The camera then pans around to show Cass standing in the door way, she has Jake strapped to her back, and Kacie in her front arms, as she strides through the door and comes face to face with Cass.]
Cass: Lex!
Lex (looks up): What do you want?
Cass: I’m getting you out of your black hole…
Lex: And how do you plan to do that?
(Cass laughs as she drops Kacie into Lex’s arms)
Cass: Parenting 101!
(Lex looks panicked at the baby in his arms, especially when the smell coming from Kacie gets worse)
Lex: I don’t need parenting classes!
Cass: You’re unbelievable Lex… all that crap about loving Tai-san and being there for her, and when she needs you most, you run as far away as you can get!
Lex: So!
Cass: So… get over yourself, you’re going to be a father in a couple of months, and you won’t be much use if you’re stuck in this self pitying black mood, thinking of yourself all the time!
Lex (looking at the floor and speaking quietly): I’m sorry…
(Cass glares at Lex and then watches as he looks up at her, her face softening)
Cass: Right… let’s start with burping…
[Lex looks slightly scared as Cass unbuckles Jake and smiles at Lex in a knowing way, before the camera cuts to the next scene.]
Scene 19
[Camera fades in from previous scene to show Lottie sat on a small batch of grass outside of the airport. In her hand is a single blade of grass which she is splitting into smaller pieces. The sound of people talking causes Lottie to look up to find Salene leaving the airport with a pram. She gives Lottie a small smile before heading off to the market. She hears Oscar cry from inside the pram and tears start to roll down her checks]
Lottie: (to herself) He doesn’t need you anymore… he can do better then you! Why should he suffer for my mistakes…he is better hands now…but it was good while it latest wasn’t it?
[Miss Saigon… I'd Give My Life For You plays through this scene]
Flash Back
[Scene shows Lottie back at the natural camp spread on a bed, screaming out in pain as she gives birth to her son]
You who I cradled in my arms
You asking as little as you can
Little snip of a little man
I know I’d give my life for you
Lavender: Come on Lottie…push!
(Lottie screams out again as she pushes with all her might)
(Scene fades out to black before fading back in to show a worn out Lottie rocking her new born son in her arms while tears roll down her checks)
Lavender: He’s amazing sweetheart!
Lottie: (smiles) He isn’t he
Lavender: Do you have a name for him yet?

[Lottie pushes herself up from the ground wiping the tears from her eyes]
Lottie: Oh Oscar…my boy!
(Lottie turns away from the airport and runs in the opposite direction of which Salene went)
Flash Back
(Days after his birth, Lottie doesn’t let Oscar leave her side, the following scenes show Lottie building up a relationship with her son. The last shot shows Lottie placing a small kiss on his forehead before rocking him to sleep)
[Scene fades to black]
Scene 20
[Scene fades in from black to show Dreamer walking through the busy market, every now and then someone will giver her smile or a nod of respect. She stops every now and then to study a stall with interest. Camera cuts to the other end of the Market to show Apollo making his way through the Market until Dreamer walks into him, causing him to step back]
(Dreamer looks Apollo up and down in disgust before setting off again but Apollo holds out her arm to stop her)
Apollo: (smirks) See something you like!
Dreamer: What in you? I don’t think so little boy?
Apollo: (smirks) I know you don’t I? You’re the leader of the Freedom fighters. And for your information a lot of the ladies like me!
Dreamer: (rolls her eyes) and you are?
Apollo: (Smiles) Ex Mode, now Mallrat Apollo!
Dreamer: Fascinating…really!
(Dreamer sets off again and Apollo decides to tag along)
Apollo: Sooo…come here often?
(Dreamer stops and closes her eyes before turning to Apollo)
Dreamer: Look…Apollo was it? One…I’m so not interested, two, now annoying can one person get, and three, get over yourself!
(Dreamer pushes Apollo out of her way and sets off back to the freedom fighter base)
Apollo: (Smug in himself) She so wants me!
[Camera slowly fades to black as Apollo approaches one of the many stalls]
Scene 21
[The sound of crying starts up as the scenes fades in from black. May is lying on the bed letting out a groan while Salene is walking black and forth trying to rock Oscar to sleep. As Oscar starts to calm down, May pushes herself up while Salene places him into the makeshift cot]
May: (with a small laugh) I don’t think we’re really cut out for being parents do you?
Salene: (frowns) You saying I’m a bad mother!
May: (tuts) Don’t be soft Salene…all I’m saying is that we don’t get much time alone anymore as Oscar needs so much attention
Salene: (rolls her eyes) What do you expect May, he’s only a baby!
(May shakes her head as she pushes herself up from the bed)
May: Don’t talk to me like I’m stupid Salene but I truly don’t think it was a good idea to bring Oscar back here, cause even if you haven’t notice it’s breaking Lottie’s heart seeing him everyday.
Salene: What do you want me to say May, that I’m sorry we’re giving him a home when Lottie can’t! I’m sorry its not my fault she couldn’t cope as far as I’m concerned were doing both of them a favour.
May: Salene…
[Salene turns her back to May, causing May to let out a sign before she leaves the room. Camera fades to black]
Scene 22
[The camera pans in from black to show Trudy and Slade sitting around the fire, Trudy is braiding her hair as Slade sits cleaning fish for dinner.]
Trudy: What are you doing here Slade?
Slade (looks up): Cleaning fish… what does it look like?
(Trudy shakes her head and rolls her eyes)
Trudy: I meant what are you doing here with the Trojans?
Slade (shrugs): It’s not a bad life Trudy… the people here are good.
Trudy: But is it what you want?
Slade (sighed): I don’t know…
Trudy: Is it the real you?
Slade: Who knows… who knows the real me?
Trudy: Me… or at least I thought I knew you!
[Slade watches with a bemused look as Trudy gets up and leaves the fireplace, leaving behind Slade and his fish as he smirks and resumes cleaning the fish, as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 23
[The camera fades from black to show Amber and Ryan walking through the airport lobby talking, when the camera pans up to the front of the pair and joins in the conversation.]
Amber: So you don’t think I’m nuts?
(Ryan shakes his head)
Ryan: No way. I agree with you that Trudy’s overdrawn... and I’m worried too! I was just trying not to worry Cass in the meeting.
Amber (nods): I see... but I must say it’s reassuring to say that I’m not going nuts!
(Ryan laughs)
Ryan: No worries about that... yet!
(Amber punches Ryan playfully on the arm)
Amber: So... how to deal with our problem... Trudy.
Ryan (nods): Yeah... it is worrying... I think we need to try and find out what’s happened. Sooner rather than later.
(Amber nods)
Amber: My thinking exactly. So let’s get our things together and reconvene later?
Ryan: Sounds like a plan to me!
Amber: Great!
[Amber heads off as the camera pans around and follows Ryan’s eye line as he spies Cass and the camera fades to the next scene.]
Scene 24
[Camera fades in from black to show Ebony sat in front of the mirror in her bedroom, braiding her hair staring back at her own reflection. In the mirror images of her past appear, her parents along with her two sisters, Java and Siva]
Ebony: (To her family) What do you think then? Me? A mum? Well I guess I can’t do anything worse than you can I mum? You really messed me, Java and Siva up? I mean they are both dead because you turned us against each other, played us off each other to make yourself look better! Then maybe again knowing my luck I will be like you? And really mess with her head!
(Ebony looks down and places a hand on her stomach)
Ebony: I don’t think I can do this! God how could this get any worse?
(Dreamer appears at the doorway)
Dreamer: talking to yourself is one way of this getting worse!
Ebony: (looks up) Gee thanks friend!
Dreamer: (Smiles) You're welcome friend!
(Ebony pushes herself up from the seat and makes her way to Dreamer)
Dreamer: If you wanna know what I think? You will make as good of a mum as anyone else who is in your situation!
Ebony: Thanks…I think!
[The two girls laugh as they make they way down the corridor. Scene fades to black]
Scene 25
[The scene fades in from black to show Lottie walking along the corridor the song I'd Give My Life For You is repeated in this scene. Lottie finds herself outside Salene’s and May’s room. Lottie hugs the wall as Salene leaves the room with a bottle in her hand.]
Salene: I’ll be right back my son!
(Lottie holds back her tears as she sneaks into the dark room. She makes her way across the room and leans over the cot to find Oscar wide awake)
Lottie: (Whispers) Hey sweetheart, it’s me…mummy!
(Lottie reaches in and gentle runs her hand over his head as more tears escape her eyes)
You who I cradled in my arms

Little snip of a little man
I know I’d give my life for you
[Lottie leans forward and places a small kiss on his forehead causing him to giggle. Scene fades out to black]
