Scene 1

[The camera fades in from black to show Slade sitting by the fire, as Trudy wraps her shrug around her and approaches the fire.]

Trudy: It’s beautiful here… I’ll give it that.
Slade (nods): Yeah… it is…
Trudy: Look… I wanted to apologise…
Slade (frowns): What for?

(Trudy sighs as she sits down on the log)

Trudy: I was abrupt with you yesterday and I shouldn’t have been… it’s not your fault what happened at the school, and I’m missing Brady… I just took it out on you… and I’m sorry.

(Slade sighs and pokes the fire with a large stick. He says nothing and Trudy frowns after several minutes)

Trudy: Apology accepted?

(Slade shakes his head out of his daze)

Slade: What if I said it made me think?
Trudy: What did?
Slade: What you said… about the real me…
Trudy: I’m lost…
Slade: I think that’s my problem… that I’ve been running from myself for so long…
Trudy: So?
Slade: So, I’m coming back… to the city… if you’ll have me…
Trudy (smiles): To the Mallrats?
Slade: Yeah… I think I need to?

(Trudy nods as she looks up to Slade)

Trudy: For what it’s worth, I think you’re making the right decision…
Slade: Yeah…

[Camera zooms in on Slade’s face and then fades to black.]

Scene 2

[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Darryl standing in the corridor of the airport, as Bray, Ryan, Lex and Tai-san walk past in a group. The camera pans to show the anxious look on Darryl's face before panning down the corridor to show KC and Patsy enter the meeting room. Then Cass and Phoenix enter the room. Darryl paces up and down outside.]

(The camera pans down the corridor to show Cloe walking slowly up. She sees Darryl and turns to quickly walk the other way.)

Darryl (shouts): Cloe!

(Cloe continues to walk the other way, as Darryl runs to catch up with her, and grabs her arm)

Darryl: Hey Cloe!
Cloe: What?
Darryl: We need to talk...
Cloe: About what?
Darryl: About what you've been saying to people!
Cloe: Darryl...

(Darryl's eyes narrow as he glares at Cloe)

Darryl: I'm serious Cloe...

(Darryl goes to pull Cloe into one of the empty rooms, as Amber comes running up the corridor)

Amber: Come on guys, the meeting's about to start!
Darryl: We're kind of busy!
Amber: Doesn't look like it to me!

(Amber pushes Darryl and Cloe into the meeting room)

Amber: You can continue with whatever it was that you were talking about after the meeting has finished!
Darryl: Amber!
Amber (stubbornly): No arguments!

[Darryl gives Cloe a look as they enter the meeting room and Amber closes the door behind the door behind them as the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 3

[Camera fades in from the last scene to show the Mallrats gathering for the meeting which Amber and Ryan have called. Caleb sneaks to the back of the room and props himself against the wall.]

(Caleb watches the tribe with interest as they start to fill the small meeting room. A smile spreads over his lips when Patsy walks into the room holding Brady’s hand.)

(His eyes then falls on Bray who also walks in holding Bray Jnr in his arm’s. the smaller Bray is pulling at his fathers hair causing both of them to laugh)

[as the last of the Mallrats enter the room, Caleb lets out a sigh as he waits for the meeting to begin]

Scene 4

[The camera fades in from the previous scene and pans around the meeting room to show the Mallrats gathered. Amber sits at the head of the table as the camera comes to rest on her.]

Amber: Right, so I want to get this meeting started. Its about Trudy...
Lex: Not again!
Patsy: Shut it Lex!

(There are eyes rolling all around the room as Amber looks to Ryan)

Amber: I know it was dismissed last time, but there's still been no further contact from Trudy and I think we need to send out some search parties!
Ryan: I agree with Amber... it's time we start to worry about Trudy!

(The camera pans around to Darryl who glances across the table at Axel, he nods his head as he stands up)

Amber: Darryl?

(Darryl says something quietly)

Amber: Did you have something to say?

(Again Darryl mumbles quietly)

Lex: Huh? I'm not hearing you mate! Speak up!
Darryl (yells): I said I'm gay!

(The camera focuses in on Darryl's face as he smiles weakly)

Darryl: I said I'm gay!
Amber: That's nice!
Lex: Yeah wonderful for you! Don't go hitting on me! Now can we get this damned meeting finish, some of us actually have lives to get back to!

(The Mallrats laugh uneasily as the camera catches Axel and Darryl exchanging a look)

Darryl: Don't worry Lex... you're not my type!
Lex: But I'm a pretty boy! You just have bad taste!
KC: Lex!
Lex: What? It's true!

[The Mallrats laugh again, as the camera fades from Darryl's blushing face to Cloe's sad look and then fades to black.]

Scene 5

[Camera fades in from the previous scene to show Trudy down at the river washing some clothes when the sound of a small child can be heard]

Off Screen: Mummy, mummy!

(Trudy frowns and looks up from where she is doing the washing)

Trudy (confused): Brady?

(Rain comes running out of the woods and stops in front of Trudy)

Trudy (to herself): You’re not Brady…
Rain: Where’s mummy?
Trudy: Who’s your mummy then?
Rain (frowns): Mummy…

(Calli comes running out of the trees, a worried look on her face when she spots Rain sitting next to Trudy)

Rain (yells): Mummy…

(Rain runs into Calli’s arms, and Calli picks her up and spins her around)

Trudy (stands up): You have a daughter?
Calli (nods): Yeah… her name is Rain…
Rain: Me name Rain…
Trudy: She reminds me of my daughter… Brady…
Calli: You miss her?
Trudy: God yes… more than anything. In a few days I’m leaving… I have to get back to her… she’s my world…

(Calli glances at Rain who is snuggled against her shoulder)

Calli: I understand…

[Camera fades to black.]

Scene 6

[The camera pans in from black to show Ryan sitting in the breakfast bar, Lex approaches the doorway and the camera zooms to his face as he steps inside the room and takes a seat opposite Ryan.]

Lex: Look, I know I haven’t been the best friend alive…
Ryan: Yeah…
Lex: But I need a favour…
Ryan: Really… and what is it this time?

(Lex sighs as he runs a hand through his hair)

Lex: I’m gonna be a father Ryan… and I don’t want to be a thicko… I want to be able to teach my kid to read, to sit down before they go to sleep at night and tell a story… can you teach me?

(Ryan glances at Lex for the longest time before he speaks)

Ryan: We tried this before remember, it didn’t quite work…
Lex: Yeah… but this time it’s different, I’ll do anything to learn…
Ryan (nods): Okay… I’ll do it on one condition…
Lex: Whatever… just name it!
Ryan: I set the rules, and you follow… no questions asked…
Lex (nods): Okay… let’s do it!

[Ryan laughs at Lex as the two of them hi-five before the camera cuts to the next scene.]

Scene 7

[Camera fades in form black to show Apollo standing outside the freedom fighters new base, he has back pressed against the wall and is taking in deep breathes. He takes a quick look round the corner to see two guards standing at the entrance. Pulling out a mirror from his back pocket the young Mallrat checks his hair]

Apollo: (to himself) you can do this!

(Apollo puts the mirror back into his pocket before he struts over to the guards)

Guard 1: (looks Apollo up and down) Can I help you!
Apollo: Of course you can, I’m here to see Dreamer…its umm…it’s official mallrat business!

(Guard 1 sends a look to the female guard who just shrugs)

Guard 1: Well I best let you in then!

(With a smirk, Apollo slips past the guard and heads into the building. Apollo heads towards the stairway and heads up towards the top floor taking two steps at a time. Scene fades out before fading back in to show an out of breathe Apollo standing outside Dreamer’s office. He knocks on her door and while he waits for her to answer he quickly checks his hair in the mirror again.)

(The door opens to show that Dreamer is not amused to being disturbed)

Dreamer: You!
Apollo: (Smirks) Miss me sweet cheeks?
Dreamer: (disgusted) don’t ever call me that again!

(Apollo gives her a wink as he slips under her arm and steps into her office)

Apollo: Nice place you got ere!
Dreamer: (keeping the door open) Can I help you with something...umm
Apollo: Apollo! Don’t worry it will become the name you whisper in your sleep!
Dreamer: (Shakes her head) again gross and do you want something as I’m busy sorting out this city!
Apollo: (smiles) All work and no play (Winks) Makes Dreamer a grumpy girl…come on tell me when was the last time you had fun? I don’t think Wolf wants to see you on your own!

(With an almighty slapping sound, Dreamer had crossed the room and slapped Apollo across his face, leaving a red hand print)

Dreamer: (Shouting) Never say his name again!
Apollo: (shocked) Sorry!
Dreamer: (turns back to the door) Guards!
Apollo: (Holds up his hands) Lets not go crazy now!

(In a matter of seconds, two guards come running in and seize Apollo by the arms. Dreamer strolls past them and takes a seat at her desk)

Dreamer: Get him out of here…just don’t hurt him, he’s a Mallrat!

(As Apollo is dragged out of the room he turns his head and blows her a kiss before a smirk reappears on his face.)

[Dreamer covers her face with her hands and shakes her head in disbelieve. Opening one of the draws she picks up a picture of Wolf and gently strokes his face before replacing the picture in the draw. Camera fades to black]

Scene 8

[Scene fades in from black and pans around Darryl’s bedroom, to show a shaken up Darryl pacing back and forth. The door opens and Axel steps in with a smile on his face causing Darryl to stop in his tracks. Axel crosses the room and pulls the man he loves into a tight embrace]

Axel: (whispers) I’m so proud of you Darryl…I truly am!
Darryl: (still shaken up) Well I couldn’t have let Cloe and Patsy letting out my secret now could I!

(Axel pushes Darryl away so that he is able to look into his lovers eyes)

Axel: (In a calm voice) Do you regret it Darryl?
Darryl: (shakes his head) Of course not, it will make our lives so much easier now that everyone knows about us…I just wish I was brave enough to of told them earlier.
Axel: (Smiles) Don’t be silly, you’re the bravest man I know…

(Axel pulls Darryl back towards him and kisses him gently on the lips)

Axel: (laughs) your still shaking!
Darryl: (Smirks) I think I just need you to hold me!

(With a smile, Axel leads Darryl to the bed and climbs on leaning his back against the wall, he then lets Darryl snuggle up against him, as he gently runs his hands up and down Darryl’s back)

Darryl: (In a small voice) I bet they are all taking about me!
Axel: Let them…who cares

[Axel tilts his head and places a small kiss on Darryl’s forehead before he rests his head on top of Darryl’s. Camera pans out of the room before cutting to the next scene]

Scene 9

[The camera cuts from the last scene, it pans around the main canteen to show small groups sitting around tables enjoying their lunch. Camera zooms in on one of the tables to show Lex, Tai-San, Patsy and KC sat at one of the table’s. On a near by table are Gel, Phoenix and Cass. Gel is feeding a bottle to Kacie while Cass feeds one to Jake]

Cass: (More to herself) He must have found it so hard to keep such a big secret!
Tai-San: (looks up) Hmm?
Cass: (smiles) Oh I was just thinking about Darryl, (looks down at Jake) I hope my son feels comfortable enough to tell me things and not keep them secret
Lex: (smug look on his face) I always knew he was gay anyway…I have a what do you call it?
KC: Gaydar?
Lex: (Nods) Yea that’s the one…which is why I should warn you KC, that I think he has a thing for you, so don’t bend over near him!

(KC doesn’t know how to respond as Lex gives him a wink before breaking into laughter)

Gel: (snaps) Grow up Lex…

(She passes Kacie to an unprepared Phoenix and storms over to Lex)

Gel: You might think it’s funny making jokes about people, and yea at point so did I, but unlike you Lex I grew up and I’m not going to sit here and listen to you make comments about Darryl, my friend just cause it makes you feel big and clever and do you know what Lex? Darryl is so much braver then you will ever be, it was eating him up and he thought that coming out to his family, us would make his life easier and you know what it will, so how about you start supporting him Lex!

(The whole group are stunned into silence at Gel’s outbreak, no one more then Lex himself, he turns to Tai-San for support who looks away pretending that she didn’t see him.)

Lex: Sorry!

[Gel lets out a huff before storming out of the canteen. The Mallrats carry on eating their lunch while for the first time in a long time, Lex cheeks go a shade of red. Scene fades to black]

Scene 10

[Scene fades in from black to show Patsy and KC walking away from the canteen hand in hand. Patsy rests her head on his shoulder while he wraps one of his arms around her waist.]

Patsy: (Smiles) Talk about drama eh?
KC: You’re telling me…but Darryl’s lucky to have a friend like Gel on his side!
Patsy: (snuggles against him) and I’m lucky to have you!

(When they reach Patsy’s room, KC lets himself in and the couple cross the room until they reach the window. KC looks down to see Bray playing outside with his son)

KC: (turns to Patsy) I had an interesting conversation with Bray the other day
Patsy: (raises an eyebrow) Really?
Kc: (Nods) He was concerned about my intentions and told me I had to treat you right..

(Patsy finds it hard not to laugh, she lets one of hands rest on KC’s chest)

Patsy: (smiles) You already treat me right KC, so don’t worry about it, bless Bray for looking out for me though
Kc: (Smirks) Yea…aww bless him!

[Patsy playfully swats him and the group break into laughter, before Patsy goes onto her tip toes so she can kiss him. Scene fades to black]

Scene 11

[Camera fades in from black; Phoenix is relaxing in his bedroom flicking through an old “boy’s” magazine. A smile spreads across his lips as he turns the magazine to the side. Phoenix doesn’t flinch when he is joined by his younger brother. Apollo pushes himself onto the bed and leans closer to his brother so he is able to see the magazine, just like his brother a smile spreads across his lips]

Apollo: Having fun?
Phoenix: What do you think?

(Phoenix rolls the magazine up and slips it down the side of his bed, he turns his head so that he looking at his younger brother)

Phoenix: You bored?
Apollo: Me? I’m never bored you should know that by now!
Phoenix: (nods) True!

(The two boys relax and stare up at the ceiling)

Apollo: (Breaks the silence) So you and Gel?
Phoenix: What about Me and Gel?
Apollo: How are thongs going on between you guys, cause you gave up a lot for her?
Phoenix: Great thanks bro, she means the world to me!
Apollo: but have you…are you…you know…
Phoenix: (Confused) What? Apollo just spit it out!
Apollo: Well you know are you?

(A smirk spreads over Phoenix’s lips and he jabs his brother in the ribs)

Phoenix: It’s none of your business what goes on behind our closed doors bro

(Apollo jumps of the bed and scratches the back of his head)

Apollo: we’re brothers, we share things…
Phoenix: (cuts in) not these things
Apollo: (Smiles) Well if your not going to tell me, I’ll go and ask Gel

[Before Phoenix is able to reply, Apollo makes a dash for the door as the camera cuts to the next scene]

Scene 12

[The camera cuts to the next scene, to show Ryan standing beside his and Cass’s bed, he has his rucksack sat up right on his bed and a pile of clothes spread out in piles on the bed. Cass is leaning over one of his twin’s coats and places a kiss on Jake’s forehead before she makes her way over to Ryan. She wraps her arms around his waist before letting her head rest on his]

Cass: (in a small voice) Do you have to go?
Ryan: (signs) Yes, if it was the other way round, I know Trudy would be the first to come looking for me…even though the others think she isn’t in danger a part of me cant just sit and wait for her to return!
Cass: I know!

(Ryan turns around and places a small kiss on Cass’s forehead)

Ryan: I will be back in a couple of days, as soon as I find her, I will be back
Cass: (nods) I know Ryan, I’m just going to miss you!
Ryan: (Smiles) And I will miss you as well, and the twins!

(Cass wraps her arms around his waist and the couple share a moment)

Cass: Just keep save
Ryan: (Nods) I promise!

[Ryan gives her another kiss and returns to packing his bags. The camera pans around the room before it fades out to black]

Scene 13

[Scene fades in from black to show an empty corridor within the airport; the door at the far end is pushed opened and Cloe steps into the hallway. She quickly lets her eyes scan the area before she hurries of towards the other end. As she goes behind another door, Darryl steps into the corridor.]

(Darryl slowly makes his way down the hallway trying each door to find them locked)

(Camera cuts to Cloe who is hiding in the dark, she swears under her breathe as she sinks further into the darkness. A small gap lets her see Darryl reaching for the handle)

Lex O.S: Hey Darryl!

(Darryl’s hand lingers on the handle for a second before he turns to face Lex)

Darryl: what’s up?
Lex: Just thought we could have a little chat!

(Lex drapes an arm around Darryl’s shoulder and leads the younger teenager back towards the other end of the corridor)

(Back inside the cupboard, Cloe lets out a sigh of relief. She slowly steps back in the hallway and spy’s for Darryl. Realising he is no where in sight, she rushes off towards her room)

[Another door opens and Darryl pokes his head around the corner to see Cloe dart around the bend, a smile appears on his lips before he steps out. Camera cuts to the next scene]

Scene 14

[The camera cuts from the previous scene, Slade and Calli sit by the fire as Trudy joins them.)

Calli: So it’s true?
Trudy: What is?
Calli: That you and Slade are going to the city tomorrow?
Trudy (nods): I have to return because of my daughter…

(Calli nods)

Calli: Like I said, I understand.
Slade: Why don’t you come to?
Calli: WHAT?
Slade: Yeah… why don’t you and Rain come with us…
Calli: I can’t just up and go with you Slade… I have responsibilities, I have Rain… I have the tribe…
Trudy: Rain can come with you…
Calli: But what about the tribe…
Slade: What tribe Calli? The others have left… or they want to leave… you know the tribe’s been falling apart for a while now…
Calli: But…
Trudy: What?
Calli: Will we be welcome?

(Trudy nods with a small smile)

Trudy: Of course… it’s the Mallrat way, anyone is welcome to join the Mallrats, all we ask is that you share what you have. We’re trying to build a better city after the fall of the Krul, you’d be a welcome addition to the tribe… you and Rain.
Calli: And Enola?
Slade: You want to bring her along?
Calli: She’s like my kid sister Slade… I can’t leave her…
Trudy: The more the merrier.
Slade (nods): Yeah… let’s all go.

(Calli looks at Trudy and Slade and then at the tents behind her, before sighing and nodding)

Calli: Okay… I’ll come with you to the city… after all, it can only get better right?
Slade (nods): Of course…

[Camera fades to black.]

Scene 15

[Camera fades in from black to show an amused looking Gel sat on the sofa in her private jet while Apollo sits opposite her looking out of the small round window]

Gel: I can’t believe you just asked that Apollo, you can’t just ask people that, cause if you ask the wrong person you will get a smack in the face.
Apollo: (rolls his eyes) I don’t care about anyone else; I just wanna know hats going on between you and my brother!

(Phoenix steps onto the private jet and a study the looks on his girlfriends and brother’s face, his own face suddenly turns a shade of red)

Phoenix: (shakes his head) You didn’t ask her did you?

(Gel can’t help but grin as she nods in reply for Apollo)

Phoenix: (Snaps) What the hell did I tell you?

(In a spilt of second, Apollo has jumped up from the sofa as Phoenix makes a grab for him. Apollo dodges his brother and leaps out of the Jet taking two steps at a time. With a groan, Phoenix follows. A very amused Gel, makes her way across the floor and looks out of the open door to see Phoenix chasing Apollo across the run way) [Phoenix kicks off one of his shoes and aims it for Apollo, which knocks the younger boy on the back causing him to cry out in pain. Gel shakes her head as she closes the door behind him. Screen fades to black]

Scene 16

[Camera fades in from black to show Trudy playing with Rain in the middle of the camp, the pair of them play clapping games before Rain breaks into laughter and jumps on top of Trudy. Slade comes from one of the tents and watches from afar as he folds a blanket. Calli then emerges from the tent behind Slade and pats him on the shoulder.]

Calli: What are you thinking about?

(Slade muses over the question and smirks at Calli before he finishes folding the blanket and hands it to her)

Slade: Possibilities!

[Calli laughs at Slade and slaps him on the back before she heads back in the tent and the camera pans back around to show Slade watching Trudy before the camera fades to black.]

Scene 17

[The camera pans in to show Tai-san sitting in the café, she rubs her slightly rounded stomach and sighs sadly before she puts her head in her hands and starts to sob. The camera pans around as Cass walks in with Kacie on her hip.]

(Cass rushes over to Tai-san)

Cass: Tai-san, what on earth is the matter?

(Tai-san shakes her head and continues to cry)

Cass: Come on sweetie, you can tell me…

(In between sobs, Tai-san manages her words)

Tai-san: It’s just that… I’m… I’m so scared…
Cass: Of what?
Tai-san: Childbirth… Lex… everything…
Cass (sighs): Okay, well I can help with childbirth… but Lex… not so sure about that.
Tai-san (laughs through her tears): Thank you…

(Cass laughs and hands Tai-san a tissue before she seats Kacie in one of the nearby high chairs and kisses her daughter’s head)

Cass: Do you want to start with some breathing exercises?

(Tai-san wipes away her tears and nods)

Tai-san: Yes please…
Cass: Okay… now let’s assume the position!

[Tai-san and Cass get into position as Cass starts to talk to Tai-san about breathing for giving birth and the camera fades out.]

Scene 18

[The camera fades in from black to show Bray folding up the laundry in his room, he puts the t-shirt he has folded into the already neat pile and picks up a dress of Amber's.]

Bray Jnr: Daddy?
Bray: Yes son... what is it?

(Bray picks up Bray Jnr and sits him on the bed)

Bray jnr: Where's mummy?
Bray: She's out... looking for auntie Trudy... why?
Bray jnr: I want mummy to teach me how to fight.

(Bray finishes folding up the dress and sits down next to his son)

Bray: Why do you want to learn how to fight?
Bray jnr: Because Brady keeps picking on me...
Bray (laughs): Well... why don't I help you?

(Bray jnr jumps off the bed)

Bray jnr: No thanks... mummy will help. You're doing the laundry daddy!

(Bray jnr runs out of the room as Bray scratches his head)

Bray: Since when did I become a house husband and stay home to vacuum? Have I stepped into a parallel world?

[Bray shrugs as he picks up the pile of folded washing and starts to put it away as the camera fades to the next scene.]

Scene 19

[Calli sits in one of the tents as she packs a bag of Rain’s clothes and toys, Enola walks in and joins her.]

Enola: Going somewhere?

(Calli nods)

Calli: Yes… and it’s something I’ve got to talk to you about.
Enola: Sounds heavy!
Calli: I’m leaving…
Enola: For how long?
Calli: For good… I’m heading to the city, with Rain… and I think you should come…

(Enola looks upset and surprised, she opens her mouth to speak and Calli puts a finger to her lips to silence her)

Calli: Enola… the tribe is falling apart, you know that since Devon and Brandon left that this tribe has been falling apart, we can’t keep living like this. And Slade and Trudy are heading to the city, they have a home that we can move into. I need to think of my daughter’s future and I think that this is the best thing I can do. Enola… I want you to come with us…

(Enola looks at Calli, before Calli moves forward and hugs the younger girl tightly)

Calli: You’re like my sister Enola… I need you.
Enola (nods): I know… I love you too. I just wish that we didn’t have to uproot everything, butt you know I’ll go where you go.
Calli: And I love you for it… So?
Enola: So I’ll come with you!

[The camera fades to black as Enola and Calli cuddle once more.]

Scene 20

[The camera pans in to show Amber pulling on her coat and grabbing her bag as she runs out of her room and down the hallway, stopping to knock on Ryan's door as she does.]

Amber: Ready?
Ryan (nods): Give me a minute!

(Amber nods and steps outside. The camera pans to a close up of Ryan kissing the twins goodbye)

Ryan: See you later!
Cass: Take care...

(Ryan kisses Cass and steps outside the room.)

Ryan: Sorry about that!
Amber: No problems! Ready now?

(Ryan finishes zipping up his coat and smiles at Amber)

Ryan: Yeah... let's get this party on the road!
Amber: Right... we're heading to the east side of the city. So we'd best get a move on and make the most of the daylight!
Ryan: You're the boss!

[Amber smirks at Ryan as the two of them pick up the pace and head out the airport, the camera follows them for a while before fading to black.]

Scene 21

[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Trudy closing the clasp on her bag, as she picks it up and turns to face Slade.]

Slade: Glad to be going home?
Trudy: Very much so… I can’t wait to see Brady, I have missed her so much.
Slade: I can imagine!

(Trudy smiles at Slade and then turns to face Calli and Enola. Slade picks up Rain and places the young girl on his shoulders as he carries her.)

Calli: All set?
Enola: I think so… seems odd to be leaving. This is the only home I have ever really known.

(Calli puts a hand on Enola’s shoulder and smiles at her friend)

Slade: Let’s get this show on the road… it’s a long journey!
Rain: Let’s go!

(All of them laugh at Rain before they start on their way towards the city)

Slade: Onwards and upwards?
Calli: I hope so…

[Camera pans out to show the group as they walk away from the remains of the Trojan camp before the camera fades.]

Scene 22

[Camera pans out across one of the runways, as the sun starts to set over the city. Phoenix and Apollo sit back to back as they watch the sun set]

Phoenix: Bro, can I ask you a question?
Apollo: (Nods) knock yourself out!
Phoenix: What’s with the sudden interest in mine and Gel’s love life, you haven’t got a little bit of a soft spot for her have ya?
Apollo: (Tries not to laugh) What for Gel? No way!
Phoenix: But there is a girl though right?

(Apollo shrugs which causes his brother to turn and face him,)

Phoenix: (Smirks) I can’t believe it my little brother has fallen for a girl…I cant believe it!
Apollo: (frowns) Ha ha, very funny!
Phoenix: Well?
Apollo: (Shrugs) well what?
Phoenix: Who is it dummy?

(Apollo scratches the back of his neck as he stares out towards the sun set)

Apollo: She’s driving me mad bro, it’s so not funny! I cant stop thinking about her and everything she does just makes me what to have her more...she perfect for me…Dreamer…
Phoenix: (Keeps a straight face) You’ve fallen for Dreamer? As in leader of the Freedom Fighters?

(Apollo nods and in a second Phoenix is rolling across the floor in a fit of laughter)

Apollo: (Pushes himself up from the floor) Get stuffed!

[As Apollo storms off Phoenix tries to control his laughter but every time he stops he starts up again. Camera pans out and fades to black as Phoenix’s laughter dies out]

Scene 23

[Camera cuts to another part of the runway, to show Lottie standing by herself, her hair blowing in her face by the wind, in her hands she is clutching one of Oscar’s teddies close to her chest. During this scene, Take That’s –Said it all plays in the back ground]

(Lottie uses her free hand to pull her hair back, fresh tears are running down her face. In the distance, Sammy can be seen watching her with interest. She turns to face him and in a second he is running across the runway to pull her into his arms)

Sammy: (soothes her) shhh it will be ok? Everything is going to be ok!
Lottie: (Nods) I know…Sammy I know what I want now!

(Sammy looks into her eyes to see a glimmer of hope in them for the first time in weeks)

Lottie: I want my son back, and no one is going to stop me from taking him back…no one!

(Sammy nods understanding what she means as he pulls her back into another tight embrace)

Lottie: I made the biggest mistake in my life and now I’m going to fix it!

[Camera zooms in on Lottie who is now smiling, before it cuts to the next scene]

Scene 24

[The scene starts up with someone knocking on a dark door, Cloe looks up from her spot in front of her mirror, before she is able to jump up and answer it, the door is pushed opened. The camera pans around to show an angry Darryl standing in the door way]

Cloe: (surprised) Darryl!
Darryl: (Shakes his head) I’m gunna keep this short Cloe as to be honest I don’t want to waste anymore time on you, cause as far as I’m concerned you mean nothing to me…
Cloe: But…
Darryl: It took me along time to find someone I trusted to come out to them, and I thought I could trust you but you stabbed me in the back with our friendship but I want to thank you, cause if it wasn’t for you being a bitch I wouldn’t of made myself come out to the others so for that I thank you but if your expecting me to forgive you, you got a very long wait…as far as I’m concerned Cloe your dead to me!

(The two stare at each other for a moment neither one daring to move or speak)

Cloe: Dar…

(Darryl turns on his heels and leaves the room slamming the door behind him, Camera zooms in on Cloe who is finding it hard not to break down in tears. She turns back to her mirror and starts to run her brush through her hair. Cloe uses the back of one of her hands to wipe the tears away from her eyes)

[Camera slowly zooms out before fading out]

Scene 25

[Camera pans around the old burnt out school. A figure dressed in a dark cloak is sitting on the low wall which surrounds the building]

(The sound of footsteps causes him to jump up from his spot.)

Cloaked figure: Caleb?
Caleb: Yes!

(Caleb steps out from the shadows, he looks around before he moves nearer to the other guy)

Caleb: You best be listening, as I have so much information for you to pass on…most importantly, Trudy is still not back.

[Camera zooms in on Caleb as he smirks, before camera cuts to black]
