Scene 1
[Camera fades in from opening credits to show Cloe lying on her bed; she has one of her hands hanging over the edge of the bed and her other hand resting on her chest. Camera zooms in closer onto Cloe, to show that she has tears rolling down the side of her face.]
Darryl OV: ….cause as far as I’m concerned you mean nothing to me…
(Cloe uses her hand rested on her chest to wipe her eyes, as the words cut into her like knifes)
Darryl OV: …cause if it wasn’t for you being a bitch….
(Cloe pushes herself up from her bed; she grabs her coat and heads out of her bedroom. As she makes her way along the corridor she spots Darryl and Lex making their way towards her deep in conversation. As they past her, Lex gives her a smile while Darryl on the other avoids eye contact but doesn’t move when his elbow knocks into the side of her)
Darryl OV: …but if your expecting me to forgive you, you got a very long wait…as far as I’m concerned Cloe you're dead to me!
(Tears start to fall from Cloe’s eyes again as she breaks into a run. She pushes past over members of the tribe, as she pulls her jacket on. As she reaches the exit of the airport she sends one look behind her before running off down the street)
Darryl OV: You're dead to me!
[Cloe turns down an alleyway where she lets her body sink to the floor before crying against the wall. Camera zooms out before fading to black.]
Scene 2
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Trudy, Slade, Enola, Calli and Rain walking towards the city. Enola drags her feet behind at the end of the group. Calli sings to her daughter who is resting on her shoulders, as Trudy and Slade walk in front. ]
Slade: You seem happy!
(Trudy nods ecstatically)
Trudy: I am Slade. I’m going back to my daughter. I always miss her when I’m away.
(Slade nods as Trudy turns to him)
Trudy: Having second thoughts?
Slade: About what?
Trudy: About coming back to the city?
Slade (shakes his head): No… just thinking about what my homecoming will be like…
Trudy: It’ll be find Slade… no one blames you for leaving…
Slade: I wasn’t thinking of it like that… it’s just I haven’t been with the Mallrats without Ruby around…
Trudy: …and It’ll be weird?
Slade (nods): Exactly…
(Slade and Trudy walk in silence for several minutes more before the camera pans around and shows the edge of the city)
Trudy: We’re almost home…
Slade: Yeah… home…
[The camera fades to black.]
Scene 3
[Camera fades in from black. Sammy is sat on his bed crossed legged while playing on a game boy. Camera pans around to show Lottie making her way into the room. She takes a seat next to Sammy and sits in silence while he plays his game. Sammy turns the game boy off and sets it next to him]
Sammy: (Smiles) Hey you!
Lottie: (smiles back) hey
(The couple lean in and kiss as they pull away, Sammy takes Lottie’s hand into his own)
Lottie: You know what I said to you the other day?
(Sammy nods)
Lottie: I meant it, every word… I want my son back but I’m going to need your help…
Sammy: You know I’ll back ya, one hundred percent…but you gotta convince Salene and May, they won’t give up Oscar without a fight!
Lottie: (Nods) I Know but it’s not a fight I’m prepared to lose… I’ve already wasted so much time with my son and I need to rebuild my relationship with him, he needs his mum!
(Sammy pulls Lottie closer when he sees her tear up)
Sammy: We will sort it out, don’t you worry!
Lottie: (nods) I need my son back Sammy!
[Camera zooms in on Lottie before fading to black]
Scene 4
[The camera fades in from black to show the Trojans stopping to make camp at the edge of the city. Calli busies herself with Rain as Slade helps her. Trudy is arranging firewood to make a fire when Enola approaches her.]
Trudy: Ah, perfect timing…
(Enola grunts at Trudy. Trudy looks up from where she is kneeling on the floor)
Trudy (questions): Enola?
(Enola rolls her eyes at Trudy)
Trudy: Look… is something bothering you? (Trudy stands up) Because if it is… I’d rather you say it to my face!
Enola (scoffs): Yeah… something is bothering me! You!
Trudy: Excuse me?
Enola: You… you come riding in on your damsel in distress horse. You rip apart my tribe, my home and you have the nerve to ask me if something is wrong. Cow!
(Calli and Slade turn to where Trudy and Enola are having an argument. Slade strides over and stands in front of Trudy, facing Enola as he glares at her.)
Slade: HEY!
Enola: What?
Slade: You got a problem… you take it out on me!
Trudy: Slade… I can handle this myself!
(Slade turns to Trudy and nods)
Slade: I know… but she has no right!
Enola (yelling): I have every right…
Calli: Hey… Enola… give it a rest!
Enola: NO!
Slade: Like I said, you got a problem… you take it out on me!
Enola: You’re just as bad as her Slade!
Slade: Yeah… well get use to it… now get lost!
[Enola glares at Trudy once more before she huffs and storms off. The camera then fades to black.]
Scene 5
[Camera fades in from the previous scene to show Ryan and Amber walking along the entrance hallway to the airport, Amber looks glum and Ryan seems downtrodden.]
Ryan: Don't worry Amber... we'll keep looking.
(Amber sighs sadly as she comes to a standstill)
Amber: I know. I'm just getting more and more worried.
Ryan (nods): Yeah.
Amber: You know how crazy she is about Brady. After everything that's gone on in her life, I'm just surprised she still not back, I can't help but think of the worse happening!
(Ryan puts a hand on Ambers shoulder)
Ryan: We'll find her Amber. We'll keep looking until we do!
(Amber smiles at Ryan)
Amber: Thanks, you're a good friend Ryan.
[The pair of them head back into the airport as the camera pans after them before fading to black.]
Scene 6
[The camera fades in from the previous scene. Jack and Ellie are sitting in bed, as Jack reads a book and Ellie brushes her hair. ]
Ellie: Jack?
(Jack mumbles as he looks into his book)
Ellie: Jack!?
(Jack mumbles again)
Ellie (angrily): JACK!
(Jack jumps a little and puts down his book)
Jack: Yes?
Ellie: I need to ask you something!
Jack: Yeah?
Ellie: Yeah… do you think there’s something wrong with me?
Jack: Um… no…
Ellie: Do you think I look okay?
Jack: You’re beautiful Ellie… you know that…
Ellie (absent-mindedly): Yeah… do I seem okay?
Jack: Yeah… just…
(Ellie looks worried)
Ellie: Just what?
Jack: Maybe you’re a little stressed?
Ellie (shrieks): What do you mean stressed?
Jack: I mean you’re worrying about things a lot lately and its not doing you any good.
Ellie: But…
(Jack puts his book on the side table and opens up his arm, motioning for Ellie to move over for a cuddle. She moves into his arms and looks up at him)
Jack: There’s nothing wrong with you sweetie…
Ellie: Promise?
Jack: I promise!
[Jack kisses Ellie’s head as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 7
[The camera cuts from the previous scene to show Ryan yawning as he strolls through the hallway of the airport, stretching his arms above his head as he did.]
Ryan: Cass?
(Ryan walks into the bedroom and smiles at the scene. Cass is sprawled out on the bed, on one side of her is Kacie and on the other side is Jake. All three of them are asleep.)
(Ryan gently picks up Kacie and Jake, kissing them both on the head before he places them into their cribs.)
(Ryan moves over to the bed and kisses Cass on the forehead)
Ryan: Night sweetie…
[Ryan then lays down next to Cass and snuggles up to her, before closing his eyes to sleep as the camera fades to black.]
Scene 8
[The scene fades in from black to show Darryl sat on the sofa in Gel’s private jet, he has his feet tucked under himself, he is staring at the wall opposite him. Gel walks towards him with 2 glasses of water in her hands. She places them on the small coffee table before sitting next to him, she places one of her hands on his upper arm and gives it a light squeeze causing him to face her]
Gel: (Concerned) You alright Darryl?
Darryl: (Shrugs) I’ve been better thanks
Gel: Is it Axel… you two haven’t had another fight have you?
(Darryl shakes his head as he reaches for his drink, he takes a sip before putting it down again)
Darryl: It’s Cloe, I told her how I felt the other day… well I more or less shouted at her, telling her that I hated her and that she is dead to me!
Gel: (Giggles) No beating round the bush with you then hey?
Darryl: And I've just seen her leave the airport in floods of tears, and it’s my fault, I’m the one who upset her and I feel like a jerk now!
(Gel shakes her head as she snuggles up closer to her friend and places a kiss on his check)
Gel: Don’t be silly Darryl, she deserved every she got, don’t get me wrong I like the girl, but she had no right, in telling people your secret…
Darryl: (nods) I know!
Gel: She had to hear how you felt or she will never learn…just don’t think to much on it hun… sooner or later she will be begging for forgiveness… now more importantly you and Axel?
Darryl: (shakes his head) What about us?
Gel: Are things better now that the secret is out?
Daryl: (Smiles) I wouldn’t say that but things are improving!
[The two friends carry on gossiping, as the camera zooms out and cuts to the next scene]
Scene 9
[Camera cuts to show Patsy standing by her dressing table, in her hand is a recent picture of herself and KC hugging and laughing. She studies the picture and a smile slips over her lips. She picks up an empty photo frame and sits down in the chair as she places the picture into the frame. Patsy smiles to herself as she spots another photo attached to her mirror it’s a picture of her younger self hugging her brother before the virus]
Patsy: (to herself) things have really changed haven’t they?
(Scene flashes through Patsy's life so far from joining the Mallrats with her younger brother, from the Chosen attacking the city, to her getting caught spying, a scene of her working in the mines, crying to herself, from her finding Ryan. Patsy is now with the fire dancer tribe... along with Ryan and Cass. From her reunited with the Mallrats, KC and Cloe. To her and Cloe kissing for the first time)
Patsy: But where do I go from here…. what happens with me and KC? Bro I wish you was here to help me… god I miss you so much Paul, please be safe!
[Patsy places the photo frame on the dressing table and gently strokes KC’s face. Camera cuts to the next scene]
Scene 10
[The camera cuts in, Bray has just put Bray jnr. to sleep when he walks out of the room and out into the corridor where Amber is waiting.]
Bray: So do you want to talk to me now?
(Amber shrugs)
Amber: Maybe if you tell me what you want to talk about.
(Amber starts to walk towards the cafe as Bray follows)
Bray: Don't be like that with me Amber. Something is going on with you, you've been in a foul mood for the longest time now and I want to know whats wrong.
Amber: Nothing much. I'm just...
Bray: What?
Amber: Bored... okay. I'm bored with life, its the same thing over and over again. I stay home, take care of our son, clean, do the washing and it sucks! You know, I'm just fed up of doing it all by myself!
Bray: Well why didn't you say?
Amber: I shouldn't have to Bray... that's the whole point!
(Bray scratches his head and looks confused)
Bray: Amber, I...
Amber: Forget it Bray... just forget it!
[Amber storms off down the corridor as Bray stands watching, shakes his head and turns around. The camera focuses on Bray's hurt face and then fades to black.]
Scene 11
[The camera cuts in from the previous scene to show Cass with the twins in her arms, she spies Patsy and Cloe together. Handing Kacie to Patsy and Jake to Cloe, Cass smiles at them.]
Patsy: I don’t understand Cass… why do you need the twins watched?
Cass: I just… um, I need to be alone… you two don’t mind do you?
Cloe (shakes her head): No… course not…
(Cass smiles and walks away fast, heading back towards her room. She smirks when she sees Ryan laying on the bed waiting for her.)
Ryan: That didn’t take long…
Cass: I have my ways…
(Ryan raises an eyebrow at Cass suggestively)
Ryan: I know… now come here!
(Cass laughs as she jumps onto the bed. Ryan pulls her into his arms as they cuddle tightly, and he hugs her.)
Cass (whispers): I want you Ryan…
Ryan: Mmm…
Cass: More now than ever…
[Ryan growls as he pulls Cass tightly into his arms and kisses her passionately. The camera pans backwards until it fades to black.]
Scene 12
[Camera fades in from black to show Gel storming through the airport; she walks into the café where most of the Mallrats are eating their lunch, including Phoenix. Gel smirks when she spots him and makes her way towards him. As she reaches his side, she leans closer to whisper into his ear]
Gel: (whispers) I have a surprise for you?
Phoenix: (Looks up) Hmm?
Gel: (whispers) Let’s just say, I’m throwing a little party back on my plane where you’re the only guest!
(Phoenix chocks on the roll he is eating causing some of the other guys at his table to look up)
Gel: (cont.) Be at mine in 10 and wear something nice.
(Gel grabs his head and turns his head to the side before she passionately kisses him on the lips. Pulling away she turns her back and makes her way out of the café)
Apollo: (raises an eyebrow) What was that about?
Phoenix: (Coughs) Never you mind!
[Phoenix watches as Gel leaves the café, he can’t help but smile as the camera fades to black]
Scene 13
[The camera fades in from the previous scene, panning down the corridor and round the corner into a room. Lex and Tai-san are asleep in the room as the camera moves in and focuses on Tai-san. She tosses and turns in bed as the camera watches her for several minutes.]
Tai-san: No… no…
(Lex stirs in his sleep as he wakes up and sees Tai-san stirring in her sleep and moaning)
Lex: Tai?
(Lex shakes Tai-san)
Lex: Wake up… wake up!
(Tai-san opens her eyes and sits bolt upright)
Lex (softly): It was just a dream…
Tai-san: A dream!?
[The camera zooms into Tai-san’s scared face before fading to black.]
Scene 14
[Scene fades in from black to show Patsy and Cloe walking along one of the runways, both girls are pushing prams with the twins in. The two girls walk in silence, Patsy sends a look at Cloe who is in her own world]
Patsy: Cloe?
Cloe: (looks over at her friend) Hmm?
Patsy: Are you alright? You seem a bit down?
Cloe: (shakes her head) I just can’t believe Cass just dumped them on us!
Patsy: (Smiles) Come on Cloe, I know you better then that!
(Patsy stops and puts the breaks on the pram she walks over to Cloe and does the same to Jake's pram before making Cloe to face her)
Patsy: (Cont.) So come on, tell me whats the matter, your been like a closed book the last couple of days, what happen to my best friend?
(Cloe pulls away from Patsy and wipes her eyes with the back of her hand before turning back to face Patsy)
Cloe: I’ve been a bitch, the whole thing with Darryl, I took it to far just cause I was angry that he wasn’t interested in me, and now he hates me and properly the whole tribe hate me…
Patsy: (shakes her head) The whole tribe don’t hate you Clo… so Darryl is angry, he will get over it…
Cloe: (cuts in) Will he? I messed up big time Pats and I don’t know what to do anymore... I don’t think I can stay here anymore?
Patsy: (Confused) What you saying Cloe?
Cloe: What I mean is, is that I don’t think my future is here with the Mallrats, I just don’t know what to think anymore!
[Patsy shakes her head and reaches out for Cloe, who shrugs her off. Cloe turns her attention back onto Jake’s pram and heads off towards the airport. Patsy follows after with Kacie. Camera cuts to next scene]
Scene 15
[Scene cuts to show Apollo standing out side a bar, he peers through the door and we can see Dreamer and a couple of freedom fighter girls sat at the bar. Apollo breathes out slowly before stepping into the bar.]
(Camera follows Apollo as he walks over to the bar, he is spotted by Dreamer who rolls her eyes. Apollo takes the empty bar stall next to her)
Apollo: Alright lover?
Dreamer: You again?
Apollo: Did you miss me?
Dreamer: Do you really want me to answer that?
(Apollo smiles and orders ten shots of Sambuca, he slides over five of them to Dreamer before he does his five one after the other)
Apollo: (Coughing) Your go!
Dreamer: (Smirks) Na… come on, do the next five!
Apollo: Will it impress you?
Dreamer: Only if you can keep it down?
(Apollo sends a look at the five shots and again downs them all one after the other. Dreamer and the girls study Apollo’s face, before he jumps up and runs to the door as the sound of him throwing up travels to them they all start to laugh)
Dreamer: Little boys shouldn’t mess with drinks!!
[Apollo sends one last look at her as he wipes his mouth before he stumbles out of the bar, taking deep breathes of air. Camera fades to black as he makes his way back to the airport]
Scene 16
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show Slade and Trudy sitting around their camp fire. Enola sits across the fire from Trudy glaring at her, Calli leans into Enola and whispers something in her ear. Enola gets up and storms away as Trudy looks at Slade and shakes her head]
Trudy: She has a problem…
Slade: You’re telling me… I think that kid is a nut!
Trudy (voice softens): She’s just messed up…
Slade: That doesn’t give her an excuse…
(Trudy puts a hand on Slade’s arm as the camera zooms in for a close up before panning around to Slade’s face)
Slade (softly): Trudy…
(Trudy looks down at her hand on Slade’s arm and quickly removes it)
Trudy: I just wanted to say thank you for your help… with Enola earlier on…
Slade: You’re welcome…
Trudy (nods): thanks…
[Trudy gets up and walks away from Slade to one of the tents, glancing back over her shoulder at him as he watches her. Both quickly turning back to their respective views. Trudy disappears into the tent as the camera pans around to show Slade once again looking over his shoulder before the camera fades to black.]
Scene 17
[Scene fades in from black to show Patsy sitting in her room in her hand she is holding one of her many photos, this time it is a photo of her and Cloe smiling up at the camera. She leans back in her chair and closes her eyes. The camera pans around to show KC walk in, he sneaks up behind Patsy and snakes his arms around her neck before placing a small kiss on her forehead]
KC: You alright babe?
Patsy: No!
(Patsy pushes herself up and throws her arms around KC’s neck and rests her head against his)
Patsy: it’s Cloe…she’s not good!
KC: Is she sick?
Patsy: (Shakes her head) NO she isn’t! She’s thinking about leaving the tribe! She’s all cut up about Darryl and she feels like she’s not welcome anymore…and there is nothing I can do?
(KC holds his girlfriend close against his body)
KC: She’s going through a bad phase, I’m sure she will be fine in a couple of days, just give her some space, yea hun?
Patsy: I guess your right!
[KC lifts Patsy’s face up and kisses her. The camera pans out as the picture of Cloe falls to the fall.]
Scene 18
[The camera fades in from the previous scene to show the Mallrats once again sitting in their meeting room.]
Lex: So after all this, you still don't have a clue where Trudy is?
(Amber shakes her head)
Amber: Well no, we don't have anymore information, but...
Jack: But you want us to keep looking?
Amber: We can't just stop!
Tai-san: But Amber, we're looking for a needle in a haystack!
(Amber looks glumly at the ground)
Amber: Well I understand if the rest of you want to stop looking for Trudy. But I'm not going to!
[Amber gets up and walks out of the meeting room, the camera follows her and then fades to black.]
Scene 19
[The camera fades in, Salene is sitting rocking Oscar in her arms as May enters the room, a warm bottle of milk in her hand.]
May: Here Sal.
(Salene takes the bottle)
Salene: Did you test the temperature?
May: Yes.
Salene: Are you sure?
May: I'm sure! I know what I'm doing.
(Salene rolls her eyes as she starts to feed Oscar. The camera moves to the doorway as Lottie appears from the shadows)
May: Lottie.
(Salene holds Oscar close to her as she glares at Lottie)
Lottie: We need to talk.
(Lottie stares at Oscar as she puts her hand on her heart)
Salene: about what?
(Lottie looks Salene straight in the eye)
Lottie: You know what...
[Lottie turns and walks away as Salene hugs Oscar close to him and May looks on sadly before the camera fades to black.]
Scene 20
[Camera fades in from black it pans around Gel’s private jet, small candles are spread around the plane lighting up small areas. Camera zooms in on Gel and Phoenix who are snuggled up on the sofa kissing each other with lust.]
(As they continue to kiss, Gel starts to undo the buttons on Phoenix’s shirt. Phoenix pushes Gel’s hand away without breaking the kiss. Gel smirks into the kiss and tries to undo his shirt again. This time Phoenix breaks the kiss)
Phoenix: (sighs) Gel?
Gel: (Catches her breath) What’s wrong…
Phoenix: (runs his fingers through her hair) Don’t get me wrong… I love spending all my time with you, but can we just take things a bit slower?
Gel: (Getting upset) Do you not fancy me anymore!
(Phoenix leans in and kisses her gently)
Phoenix: It’s because I fancy you so much, that I want to take things slow, we got our whole lives ahead of us, lets not rush things, lets just see what happens!
(Gel nods, not fully convinced and rests her head against his chest.)
Gel: So your glad you stayed with me then?
Phoenix: Best decision I’ve ever made!
[Gel smiles this time happy with his answer. The camera cuts to next scene]
Scene 21
[Camera cuts to show Apollo sitting on the floor in his room, with his back against his bed. He covers his face with his hands breathing in deeply]
Apollo: (Angry) who does she think she is laughing at me?
(Apollo spins around and slams his fists into his pillow)
Apollo: Fine, if she wants me to impress her, then I will so impress her!
(Apollo stands up and walks towards his mirror, he studies his face and smiles to himself)
Apollo: (smirks) Dreamer, you have met your match and oh you better be prepared to be impressed!
[Camera zooms in on Apollo before fading to black]
Scene 22
[Camera fades in from black to show Salene standing by the window looking out across the night sky. She holds Oscar close to her chest as he cries]
Salene: (rocking Oscar) Shhh
(Salene starts to move backwards and forwards trying to calm the infant down)
Salene: Shhh, don’t you worry nothing is going to break our family up!
(Salene turns to face the door and jumps when she sees May standing there)
Salene: You scared me!
May: (smiles) Sorry… you’re a bit jumpy though, what’s up?
Salene: (Shakes her head) Got a lot of things on my mind and I can’t get Oscar to calm down!
May: (Holds out her arms) Do you want me to try!
Salene: (Takes a step back) No, no it’s fine!
[May raises an eyebrow as Salene turns back to the window. Camera fades into the next scene]
Scene 23
[The camera fades in from the previous scene. The party of Trudy and the Trojans are seen walking through the streets, along the wharf area.]
Calli: Where are we going?
Trudy: A friend… to get provisions…
Calli nods as Slade strides up to Trudy)
Slade: Freedom Fighters?
Trudy (nods): Yeah… Dreamer became more like one of us towards the end…
Slade: Okay…
(The camera follows the group as they walk past several warehouses, Trudy leading the way followed by Slade and Calli with Enola bringing up the rear. The group stops to get their bearing as the sound of footsteps can be heard)
(Trudy and the group enter the warehouse, as Trudy steps ahead and comes face to face with Dreamer)
Dreamer: Well, Trudy… haven’t seen you in a while… how’ve you been?
Trudy: Not too bad… we’re on our way to find the tribe but need to stop for a rest… can we stay here for a while?
Dreamer: Of course you can… you’re always welcome!
OV: Well, well… what do we have here?
(The camera follows the group as they turn around to show the voice that spoke. The camera zooms to a pair of red leather boots and up the body before coming to rest on Ebony’s face.)
Trudy (sighs): Ebony!
Ebony (sarcastically): Moody Trudy and my ex… what great company you guys keep…
Slade (dryly): Always a pleasure Ebony…
(Ebony eyes Trudy and Slade up and down before turning to face the rest of the group)
Ebony: And what bunch of losers did you find to bring back this time?
Trudy: They’re not freaks Ebony!
Ebony: I’ll be the judge of that!
(Trudy rolls her eyes as Calli steps forward)
Calli: My name is Calli… and I don’t like your tone of voice…
(Ebony glances at the girl quickly before frowning)
Ebony: Calli… huh:? You look more like a Danni to me!
Trudy: Ebony… we didn’t come for a fight. We’re supposed to be on the same side!
(Ebony laughs at Trudy as she continues to stare at Calli)
Enola: Why does everyone keep calling you Danni?
Calli (shrugs): Search me!
[The camera fades to black.]
Scene 24
[Camera pans around the airport as night falls. It cuts to inside of the airport and travels through the hallways, it cuts into Darryl’s room where we find Darryl and Axel lying on Darryl’s bed, both boys drifting off to sleep]
(Darryl lets out a yawn and drapes one of his arms over Axel’s stomach and moves up closer against his boyfriend)
Axel: (turns to face Darryl) I should go back to my own room really!
Darryl: (frowns) Why can’t you just stay here?
Axel: (shrugs) I dunno!
(Darryl pulls Axel closer to him and kisses him softly on the lips as his eyes close)
Darryl: Please stay….even better why don’t we move in together?
(It is at this point that Axel sits up)
Axel: (shocked) Your joking right?
Darryl: (Lifts his head up) NO… I thought it was a good idea
(Axel throws his legs over the side of the bed and turns back to face Darryl)
Axel: I don’t think I’m ready to share a room, I don’t think we’re ready, I’m sorry Darryl but I like the way things are going at the moment, can’t they just stay the same!
(Darryl shrugs as he removes his top, he then removes his jeans and pulls the covers up to his chest)
Axel: Darryl?
Darryl: I think I understand… but you can stay tonight if you want!
(Axel smirks as he pulls his top off and stands up to take his jeans off. Darryl lifts up the covers to allow Axel to climb into bed with him. Axel wraps his arms around Darryl’s waist)
Axel: Let’s just takes things one step at a time ok?
[Darryl nods as Axel leans closer and places a small kiss on his lovers lips. The two boys snuggle up against each other and drift off back to sleep]
Scene 25
[Camera cuts to the final scene. Lottie, Sammy, May and Salene are sat around a small table in Salene’s and May’s bedroom]
Lottie: I’m really sorry but he’s my son, and I understand that you both love him and I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for him… but I’m his mother and he needs me..
Salene: (rolls her eyes) When it suits you… he’s not a toy Lottie…
Lottie: (getting upset) Don’t you think I know that!
Salene: I’m sorry Lottie but we had a deal, you can’t just walk in here and demand him back, he is my son now and at this moment I have the right to tell you to get out!
(May places her hands on top of Salene’s but Salene pulls away)
May: (softly) Salene please calm down!
(Lottie stands up, her face set in a frown)
Lottie: Can you please get my son for me, I would like to see him!
Salene: (laughs) No chance!
(Salene also stands up)
Salene: I think it’s time you left!
Lottie: (holding back her tears) So you’re saying I can’t see my own son!
Salene: (Shouting) Stop saying that… he’s not your son!
(The room falls silent but the sound of Oscar crying fills the room. Both Salene and Lottie look towards the cot. Salene turns to face Lottie)
Salene: Get out now!
Lottie: I want my son!
Salene: I said get out!
(Salene moves away and heads towards Oscar. She takes Oscar into her arms and moves further in the room)
May: (shakes her head) I’m sorry Lottie, we can have another talk tomorrow, it’s late now!
Lottie: (tears running down her face) He’s my son!
May: (whispers) I know...
(Sammy wraps his arms around Lottie and leads her out of the room. As they enter the hallway Lottie isn’t able to control herself anymore and breaks down. Sammy holds her close to him as she cries out in pain. Britney spears – Out from under, starts up at this point)

Lottie: (Crying out) My son, she’s got my son!
Sammy: (fighting back his own tears) We will get him back I promise!

(Camera slowly starts to zoom out as Lottie sinks to the floor, Sammy wraps his arms around her as he slowly starts to rock her)

[Camera zooms out until it fades into darkness]
[End credits cut in]
